The worse experience from a service possible. My BMW got brought in for a recall. While it was in for the recall I decided to get it serviced even though I didn’t need but thought I might as well while it was in the garage. The couldn’t fix the recall as their camera was broken! I got the car back in a state. It was dirtier than when I dropped it. Barely an apology with excuses like ‘we’re doing our best’. Not acceptable under any circumstances. Terrible service along with horrible customer service. An embarrassment to the BMW brand. I had to take the car to get cleaned straight after. Not what you expect to have to do after a >£400 service! Complete shambles.

the general consumer revel in became excellent: from the initial reserving, attending to the Barons BMW Centre in which i used to be welcomed via a totally nice man who directed me where to park (i found it very helpful), speakme to a woman at the reception table who explained me courteously and in reality subsequent steps and replied all the questions, to the technique wherein the car changed into inspected and i received text message, electronic mail, name, car fitness take a look at video with specific listing of work needed to be finished and fee spoil connected to it. Going to this branch is easy, but when you want to get your car delivered, you create the conditions that you have to pay a lot. After three months I had to lie down in front of the door for a little trouble so I could get in my car and I paid £3600 just for nothing. I don't recommend going there at all

The booking on line, communication and self check in was really easy. After checking in the discussion about what was booked and needed was very professional. Pick up was well done. From this experience I would recommend Baron’s for service it was much better than another BMW service team I have used previously

The overall customer experience was outstanding: from the initial booking, getting to the Barons BMW Centre where I was welcomed by a very nice man who directed me where to park (I found it very helpful), speaking to a lady at the reception desk who explained me politely and clearly next steps and answered all the questions, to the process where the car was inspected and I received text message, email, call, vehicle health check video with detailed list of work needed to be done and cost break attached to it. Mario was helpful and patient with all my concerns and questions I had. All done on time in a professional manner. The people, communication, service from BMW were top class.

Had to take my car in for a warranty claim. It was really easy to make an appointment and the work was done quickly with no issues. Just wish they had a loan car service. Otherwise all good and liked the health check video they sent afterwards as well.

Barons, I’m afraid, have a “Covid” policy which is far more stringent and aggressive than it has any need to be. I saw a rude and officious receptionist barking at a customer who wasn’t wearing a mask and demanding he stand outside in the cold, even though the large reception area was empty, the man was exempt and had politely told her he’d been vaccinated. With infections down by about 90% and a majority of the population now vaccinated, her behaviour is not acceptable. In fact, that sort of rudeness never was. And the charges at Barons are inexcusable. £700 for a routine service is simply wrong. Twice the price of skilled reputable garages elsewhere. Given that they charge so much, you’d think they’d at least try to give their customers a good experience. They close at 5pm, no doubt blaming “Covid” for inconveniencing their customers still further. The one star I’ve given is for a man called Simon. I think he’s the manager. He is superb and must spend most of his time trying to placate customers who’ve been outraged by the charges of his employers and the conduct of his staff. If Simon ever opens his own garage, I’d be there like a shot

Booked car for warranty issue. Generally fine and the issue was corrected. However two things bothered me: 1. No communication throughout the day. After calling them twice and finally getting an update I was left with 15 minutes to collect the car before closing. 2. They do not clean your car due to covid when servicing. I'm not sure whether this is legally imposed on them, but in any event it makes no sense: they're happy to operate your vehicle but cleaning is considered high covid risk? Nonsense!

Excellent customer service. My iDrive screen kept resetting and I thought the unit may need replacing (which would of been very expensive). Took the car here. Check in was straight forward. Received a call a short while after by one of the technicians who was great. ExplainEd the process they would go through to find the fault and gave me an initial cost for diagnostics of around £200. I was like ok do what you have to do. The technician asked if I needed the car back the same day to which I replied that would be great. I received a call later in the day to say the car was ready and thankfully the unit just needed reprogramming but the great thing was they reduced the diagnostics charge by over 50% as well. Super happy!!! Great place and great team. Very professional and friendly. Great job = very happy customer!!!

Thought I’d leave a review from a number of my experiences at bmw Kentish Town as seeing quite a low rating for some reason. I was weary coming here, based on this rating, but has been pleasantly surprised each time I had my car serviced here. A couple of times someone actually came to my house with a replacement car. Every time, and there’s been four or five, the mechanics would do what they said they would, promptly, and (pre-covid) clean and wash the cars. Booking the service by phone is easy and calls are answered quickly. Once I was able to use one of their rooms (and, sssh, a mouse as I forgot mine) for two hours while a problem was being fixed. The staff is pleasant, coffee and biscuits and water (pre-covid) abound and offices comfortable. All in all, just can’t complain. Plus they are reasonably priced and conveniently located. Will definitely be coming back.

The experience was satisfactory in all the circumstances. However I do have a complaint. The reason for the visit was that my car was due for its MOT. Prompted by an email from BMW I called Barons (where my car has been serviced for years) on 25th January to make an appointment. The person I spoke to, clearly aware of the expiry date of my current certificate (15th March), advised me that the earliest date for the MOT if that expiry date was to be preserved would be 15th February. That was a mistake. The earliest date was in fact 16th February (28 days before the expiry of the current MOT certificate). My car got through its MOT but because the test took place on 15th rather than say 16th February the certificate will expire on 14th February 2022 rather than 15th March 2022. When I drew this to the attention of the lady on reception she explained why the certificate had the earlier date without accepting any responsibility for why this has happened. Not a big issue, but irritating and clearly not my fault. An apology would have been in order.

Unfortunately, they told me that the car would be ready after 3:30pm. I went they with my 20months old child as I needed to go and meet my wife with other 20 month old child. They called at 4pm, while I was on route to say they needed another 45 minutes to MOT the car. They car was eventually ready at 5:30pm and while driving home I found that they had not fixed the issue I took the car in for in the first place. Which I also paid for as well!! The manager agreed to call me yesterday to discuss. No call so far. I will take my complaint to BMW UK.

Good communication about the check on the car. However badly let down by not posting the revised posting times by the key drop which still said 6.30pm If you had had an updated notice there then that would have prevented a lot of stress when the car was picked up at 6pm. Also should have had a person by key drop to assist and point out new times. During all the communication about the car I was never told about the reduced hours.

Given that the service took place during Covid restrictions it was fine.....but For the second time Barons tried to charge me more than they’d quoted (in writing) for the work. Also, not valeting or even washing the car ‘because of COVID’ is BS. Car washes are open. So are car valeting services

Given the circumstances Barons Kentish Town / BMW - mini have done a great job to welcome, manage and deal with their customers. The service was dealt with efficiently and effectively in the branch. My issue is with Mini UK / BMW generally who are not honouring or making any concession for the warranty or service plan that expired during lockdown. Their stock answer is they extended it until the end of June, but where was this communicated, how could the service take place when my branch was closed until beginning of July and could only get booked in yesterday as the first available appointment ?! Customer Service complaints department was totally unsatisfactory offering nothing !!!! We all understand in these times businesses need to re coup money lost but what about customer satisfaction and helping the customer at these times through no fault of mine ! So cross!!!!! ????

Our car was picked up by BMW breakdown and taken to Barons. We had a flat tyre but did not have the lock but to take off the tyre. It was not a problem for Barons who changed the tyre without any problem. Really happy with their service. Stuart
