I love, love, love Vegetarian Shoes! The quality of their footwear is superb, I've got boots that I've had for over 7 years that still have a lifetime of wear left in them, and I just treated myself to some running shoes, a pair of hiking boots, and a vegan alternative to UGG boots, and I am SO thrilled with them. One day I will bankrupt myself and own everything they offer. Incredible company, fast delivery, excellent customer service when I've needed it in the past, and a huge range of vegan footwear that will garner compliments and start some much needed conversations!

It was refreshing to be able to walk into a shop and know that all the shoes were ethical, I didn’t need to read the labels!
There was a decent amount of choice. Staff were on hand to answer questions and help out.
I opted for some boots on the ‘broken biscuits’ rack. They were £75 reduced from £84.95.

I have had 4 pairs of boots from vegetarian shoes and they have been excellent. My last pair had a fault and they refunded the full amount and I kept the boots. Absolutely lovely service and great quality cruelty free footwear.

I had a rough idea what I wanted and so service was quick and efficient. With covid there are restrictions as to the number of customers allowed in the shop, but the staff are lovely, and really good choice of shoes.

I love my Action Boots and have worn them a lot. The material is good quality and they have kept their shape. However, I have had issues with the zips from the start - the pulls swivel round and get wedged so that they stick out at an angle. After repeatedly correcting this, one of the zip pulls snapped off and it is now a bit of a faff getting the boot done up. No doubt this is an isolated problem.

I have 4 pairs of vegetarian shoes spanning 8 years. I have found them all very comfortable and breathe well. The first pair (Chelsea boots) are still going strong despite having been worn nearly everyday. By far the best and most hard-wearing shoes I have ever bought, far better than leather ones I used to buy many years ago. A little bit pricey but not when you consider how well made they are and how long mine have lasted. My wife has a pair, as does a workmate who has a pair too, both also agree with how good they are.

My first time at the shop. Such a fantastic selection of footwear. I've been wearing Vegetarian Shoes for a few years now and the quality of their shoes is very high. I wear the shoes I bought from them every day at work and I am on my feet for over 12 hours a day at work (my average step count at work is >14,000). They look as good as the day I bought them over 5 years ago.

I have bought at least six pairs of footwear and a belt + 5 or so shoe polish.Products do not last and the belt was garbage to begin with and fell apart in no time.My duck boots wore holes in both boots after not much wear.The elastic laces with plastic adjusters on my sandals broke after not much wear and all three of my pairs of Chelsea boots wore out in the soles after not long.Never again.I have found much much higher quality vegan footwear and belts elsewhere.Truth Belts,for example,sells the nicest and strongest belt I have ever had.Nice Shoes sells better quality shoes.

Bought shoes online from them. Their own house brand - Vegetarian Shoes. Paid 100 quid.
Quality is rubbish. Material changes shape and loses colour very quick. Even with almost no wear and during the dry season. Sole wears down like it is paper.
Also pay attention to their return policy.

I am not a Vegeterian, Vegan or anything of the sort but I do like the products and ethos of this business. In particular I was impressed by the recycling of materials which are used in the manufacturing of the shoes. The shoe quality is excellent but a bit over priced. The shop service and staff friendliness were excellent.

Terrible customer service. Unfriendly, unhelpful and kind of rude!
Bought some chelsea boots from here over DM as I prefer to support local businesses. I took them back to swap for a bigger size but I ended up getting a refund instead because of my experience. I was also planning on getting walking boots here but won't bother now.
I think that now veganism is so mainstream, there is so much more competition. Even places like M&S, New Look and Sainsbury's have a vegan shoe range! The prices at Vegetarian Shoes aren't even competitive so combine that with more options on the high street and poor customer service, I can't see this place lasting in the long run. Such a shame.

Low quality product, unprofessional unhelpful customer service. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
Bought a pair of Chelsea boots, been wearing them very lightly for the past 5 months, the side of the shoe is literally coming off, this happened literally after 4 months or less, at that point they promised to exchange or refund if it gets worst, which it did after less than a month! Now they refuse to refund or exchange, saying this is part of the design!!! Sure!
Do not purchase from them, waste of money!

I've bought two pairs of boots from the online store. The Airseal boots are amazing, they look fantastic, and feel like really good quality. They have had loads of attention from people in the street because they're so awesome. However, the Vintage boots when they arrived were completely different to the picture - the texture, colour of the boot, and colour of the laces were all different. I emailed to ask if I could have the boot I actually ordered and was just pointed towards the small print saying colours may vary. That was pretty disappointing and a very poor response. In conclusion I might buy from here again but be warned that if the shoe is different to what you order they will just show you the small print rather than actually trying to help you get what you originally wanted to buy.

Had to get the hang of customizing my insoles. Going to order another pair. I started wearing this brand in 1996ish when I was in Music College & very actively promoting veganism.
I had a pair of combat boots I wore in college & through my coop produce work. They were amazing in NY slop & snow.
Then I got a pair of the first veggie trekers to hike in. I mainly used them mostly for masonry work & building commercial gardens when my ex & I decided to do small jobs together. Got me through 3+yrs heavy dirty labor (hauling wheelbarrows of gravel) & hiking & snow slop. Got others in DC or wherever in USA. Then ordered a last pair in Hawaii, they shipped to me from UK.
I've been suprised that they are work worthy. Despite my lifestyle change, I'd like to see a pair of slippers ;-) for da beach bra.

Me and my fiance came to buy shoes from London. We took together our dog, for a day out . Friendliest dog on earth. We have asked to bring her (our dog) with us into the shop grey hair man said no. This is so hypocritical and sad that shop which sells animal friendly products are not friendly to animals. I would have understood if the man explained why (example allergic?) but he just sat at his desk all times looking very miserable and not helpful. Later another couple came in and he didn't get up from his desk, people even said to him: "sorry to bother you (..and asked question)"... I will go tomorrow to London third estate vegetarian shoe shop and buy there because they have the same range. Waste of my petrol!

Love this shop, they have a great range of shoes but their in house DM styles are the pick of the bunch, always popular and of a very high quality. They have a website as well but I would advise a visit to this great little shop in the heart of the North Laine.

Bought shoes from this company online and they were super uncomfortable, making my feet hurt, once I broke them in, after wearing them for many days, they stopped hurting but they only lasted me six months, one of the soles is punctured and water sips in. Would not buy again.

Ich hatte vor ca zwei Jahren online ein paar Ice Patrol Boots bestellt. Als sie endlich ankamen war ich zunächst zufrieden, sie sahen gut aus und drückten auch nicht. Allerdings fiel ein "Ice-gripper" direkt bei einem der ersten Spaziergänge raus und ließ sich nicht mehr befestigen.
Ich hatte die Schuhe für einen Wanderurlaub gekauft (2 Wochen). Danach musste ich sie schon wegwerfen. Einfach alle Nähte waren aufgegangen, der Schuh verformte sich und die Sohle löste sich ab.
Die mit Abstand absolut schlechteste Verarbeitung, die ich jemals gesehen habe. Sehr schade, da es nicht viele Alternativen zu Lederschuhen gibt. Doch diese sind ihr Geld absolut nicht wert.
