Worst Indian food I have ever had! Complete rip off! The lady sounded very rude and on top the food was pathetic !! I do not understand the 4+ rating! The "so called homemade" Chapatis, Theplas, Corn and Patra curry is all frozen food (Brand - Shana, Co fresh) @ridiculous prices. You get this in the Asian section of various supermarkets like Tesco, Morrisons etc. The rice was all stale ...
We had good time in Brighton and was expecting the day to end on a high, but was a complete disaster when we ended up here!!!

Food is to be experienced but don't expect your normal balti style curry. Perfect for veggie types. Their drinks choice is another highlight with so many unusual beers and soft drinks.

I love Planet India and the food they serve there however it is not accessible whatsoever :( there isn't even an adequate ramp for people with all sorts of disabilities to easily get up into the restaurant. On the other hand the staff of have always been friendly to me and done anything they can to help. But don't just take my experience for face value please look at some more reviews besides mine!

This place is the worst ever resturant I have visited in my life the customer service is awful , rude staff and the food is worse, the rice was very oily and hard it was either stale or from the bottom of the pan. The aubergine curry was watery with no salt and the chunks of aubergines were raw. When I politely told the staff (an Indian Lady) about it she very rudely replied that she can't do much about it and said its not fair to complain as she doesn't think there was any a problem. I was really appalled by her reply and just walked out from her resturant. I dont want other people to have the same experience and waste their time and money by going to this horrible place. We had an amazing time in Brighton enjoying the beautiful weather and the beach but this experience left me and my family with a bitter end.

Amazing veggie curry Pani Puri excellent and the Cheesey Peas to die for especially with extra fresh chillis. Atmosphere great as was the service. House white lovely and I was accommodated easily. All round a great experience and something a bit different with the menu and the staff. Top notch!!!!!

Hands down best Indian in Brighton! Especially if you are vegetarian. I go as much as I can but it is a bit expensive (But 100% worth it) My favourite foods off the menu are the samosa, chat puri, pani puri and mater paneer. Great Staff & such a homely vibe <3
