CND Trainer was excellent. After course assistance was very poor. Not sure they really know how to manage an issue or provide customer service. I had booked the exam nice and early, took a week off to revise, but got informed from the online exam centre the voucher code was incorrect and I had to cancel the exam. Firebrand took another 2.5 weeks to sort it. They failed to respond to any emails (8) and then just sent the code through. No apology for the late arrival. The aim is to take the exam as close as possible to the end of the course to give you the best chance. Unfortunately poor admin meant this wasn't possible.

My experience of the CIPM training was very poor. I was promised all sorts of blended learning exercises and labs to enhance the learning experience during the sales process. Unfortunately this was just false promises. All that happened was that the instructor went through the official IAPP slides over the whole duration of the training. There was no value added by Firebrand or anything to justify paying the premium charged. I would not recommend it to anyone - there are much better offerings on the market from other providers. I'm pleased to say that I passed my exam but the training by Firebrand did not have any part to play in this. The accommodation was also very disgusting and in major need of an upgrade although I was offered a better more modernised room after expressing my disgust. Most of the participants on the course echoed the same thoughts.

This was my second visit to Firebrand. Every time I have been here I have had an amazing experience. I highly recommend Firebrand to anyone looking to take an IT training. It is always fun and I have learnt a lot and passed all my exams. My trainer Gary was amazing. He found unique and memorable ways for us to learn (ask him about his trunk!). I am very satisfied with the training I have received and can’t wait to book my next course!

I did the Certified Ethical Hacker course a couple of years ago. I could not fault the experience in anyway. The course was laid out well, and more importantly the instructor really knew his material. It was an intensive course, with early starts, late finishes and homework, but it was also fun. very hands-on with great practical examples to work through. The location and amenities were top-notch and I would not hesitate to use Firebrand again!

If you're up for a challenge and love IT this is the place for you. Firebrand has a wide range of courses and apprenticeships providing an entry point in IT for anyone that is determined in improving/expanding their skill set. You'll also have a laugh as the personnel is amazing and very supportive.

This is, without doubt, the best way to do IT training - total immersion. The training staff were exceptional in both their knowledge and delivery of the course. The facilities are top class - every piece of hardware and software that you will need for the course is provided, and more on top. The course delivery is very intense, in a 2 week course (including weekends) we had about 140 hours of classroom time, with extra hours spent doing preparation and follow up work. At the end of the 2 weeks, although shattered, I had my certification and felt a huge level of satisfaction at what had been achieved in a short space of time.

Course content, lab practice and instructor James are great. But the course is very intensive. According to me it should have been 5 / 6 day course rather than 4 days. This should allow us to learn more deeply and will be more time for hands on practice. Facility is great and food is good to.

I have attended a couple of courses with Firebrand and have been very happy with the entire experience each time. The courses were well delivered by a very knowledgeable and personable trainers. The facilities and accommodation were excellent. The customer service was first class. All in all a great training provider.

The intensive nature of the course was presented very well by a knowledgeable instructor and at a pace which everyone could follow. The hours flew passed and I gain a lot of useful knowledge in the two days I attended. I'd recommend Firebrand to anyone.

As a training experience it is an exceptional facility with good facilities and free strong coffee which you need for the 16 hour study days! As for the food, 3 cooked meals a day, amazing deserts.....brought away so much knowledge and an extra 6lb in weight in 5 days.....the anti-diet plan :)

I am quite impressed with the training facilities in Wyboston. The entire staff was friendly, helpful and all worked to help me succeed! I've attended multiple trainings around the world and will state that Firebrand was one of the top places. Our instructor, Kevin Henry was great, dynamic, inclusive and I never once nodded off (like what can happen with some instructors). During the 7 day boot-camp we had lots of material to absorb. The combination of great instructor, great facility made it possible. I would fully recommend Firebrand training to anyone wanting serious technical training. -- John Brown, Albuquerque NM USA

I was impressed by the commitment of the team to the training program. The whole concept of total immersion training worked well for me. The delivery of training at Firebrand has ensured that any knowledge gained can be applied to the working environment long after passing any exams.

1 week at Firebrand is like a month training elsewhere! I managed to learn an incredible amount in 1 week but prepare to put the rest of your life on hold. You'll barely have time to eat, drink or catch up with your family and although my room had a TV I never touched the remote. It's hugely rewarding and a very efficient way to learn - My instructor (Doug Rees) was incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic and just as committed as the attendees! I wouldn't recommend the bootcamp if you're looking for a leisurely week but if you're time poor and seriously committed it's a great way to gain skills quickly.

Firebrand Training courses are intense. We are talking 12 hour + days, Revision for whats left of the evening and maybe even a sleepless nigh or two if you really can't get something. However, there is just no other experience like it. I have passed every exam I trained for and taken at firebrand, and that is absolutely no coincidence. The trainers are usually experts in their field and are incredibly friendly. The onsite staff are amazing and are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that you can focus on the only thing that matters, which is learning the course material (Shout out to Paul Templeton, the often unsung hero of the Wyboston Training Centre). I wholeheartedly recommend Firebrand for anyone in the IT field who wants to not only pass their exam, but actually learn and expand their knowledge of the field, and also meet and network with other like minded individuals doing the same thing.

I completed a week long course at a Firebrand training center and it gave me an excellent grounding when I was starting a new career. Knowledge that would have taken months to learn, was crammed into my head in the space of a week. It was certainly intensive, but the tutor was knowledgeable and always supportive. In the course of the week, I went from knowing next to nothing about the subject to being MS certified, though I did need a bit of a lie down afterwards. Still, I would definitely recommend them.

Clicked on email on my home computer from this company to look at course prices - then the next day they called me at my work place!! Apparently they got access to my LinkedIn profile via the email link I clicked on and tracked me down! Invasive and completely disrespectful of my privacy!!!!

I have been to Firebrand a few time now and they never disappoint. Never failed a qualification with them and now I am in charge or a team of over 100 engineers I use them to train my staff. Keep up the great work firebrand!

Training at Firebrand was easily the best personal investment I ever made. The course was incredibly intense and certainly not for the faint hearted, but allowed me to certify within two weeks rather than the twelve months it would have taken through the self study route. I would highly recommend them.

This was the best and most intense boot camp I have been on. Many other boot camps don't really live up to their name, but this is a hard core learning experience. The lecturer was very enthusiastic, experienced and fully committed to us passing the exam and learning everything we needed. The course materials and facilities were good quality. When I walked into the exam at the end of the week I felt fully prepared and passed scoring over 97% in both CCNA exams. I couldn't be happier. Well worth the money.

Really good Instructors and you learn a lot, but be prepared to work hard. Top tip: Make the time to do any recommended pre-reading, it will make you already very busy week a little easier.

As a young adult, working towards a career in the IT industry, I would recommend firebrand to anyone considering an IT training course, and other people my age. The instructors are friendly and even though the days are long, it is definitely worthwhile. The course handbook and practice exams provided are perfect. The facilities at Wyboston Lakes are great.

Just finishing my second Firebrand course and again I am really impressed - it's nice to know that everything has been looked after and organised for me and all I have had to do is concentrate on learning. The instructor, once again, has been brilliant - perfectly managing information delivery to ensure quick learning!

It was a very intense learning experience. The quality of the instructor, materials and balance of lecture and practical direction was excellent. It was very much a warts and all realistic view - a must do prior to any install, upgrade or development work.

Fast-paced SharePoint administrator course that got me through both certifications in six days. It was a lot of work and 12-hour days, but I felt that it was worth it in the end. I gained a huge amount of knowledge that would have taken me months through self-study. A real time-saver.

Thankyou Firebrand - This was the most comfortable I've felt taking any training / exam. I've found Phil Chapman (Trainer) to be one of the best instructors on the many classroom based courses I've taken!

an awful experience at Wyboston Lakes hotel. The only good about attending this course is your brain will be fried on the last day before the exam. An expensive way to lose money its better if you gamble it on poker as you have a higher chance of winning.

Probably one of the best courses I’ve done, days and evenings full of practical exercises with the nights filled with the theory. Very intense, but worth it.

The CISSP Bootcamp which I attended (at Wyboston lakes) is not for the uncommitted nor faint of heart. 12hour+ days for 7 strait days and then "homework" assignments to be completed for review the following day. And still there as not enough time to cover all the material needed. I truly believe that the instructors approach allowed us all to work through the questions even those where we had not covered the material directly. The accommodation was functional though as there was no AC often the room would get too warm, which would affect at least my ability to sleep. And I really do not recommend going without any sleep if you can avoid it.

Quite frankly, they were brilliant. This was 2009 mind you, but I would still train with them again if I had to choose an IT trainer! I went from knowing very little about Cisco, to getting my CCNA with 2 exam scores in excess of 90% in 1 week!! I would put this down to the very effective training of this company (and I guess I'm a little bright too!) You will always read bad comments about any IT training provider as I did when considering Firebrand back in 2009, but I can honestly say for me personally, I made a great choice.

I attended the 7 day CISSP certification course. The days were long but well organised with regular breaks. The course content was excellent and the instructor was a well seasoned IS professional who had a fantastic range of knowledge to further explain complex areas. The menu was basic but did the job. The only criticism was the size of the bedrooms. Very small. Overall a very good experience an d passed the exam first time.
