Shame on this council, trash collection has become a legend, for a week now no one shows up to collect and there's trash all over the place, many foxes it's being attracted. I try to call the department for waste management all in vain, it seems they are on holiday, no one gives attention to you either the problem itself. Since the LABOUR'S SOCIALIST PARTY take control it became drastic. NEGLIGENCE AND INCOMPETENCE TOOK OVER THE PLACE.

This council is disgraceful sent in a application for assistance with food vouchers as me and my partner were absolutely desperate ran out of money and we were struggling with a newborn baby...well that was over a week ago they never even had the decency to get back to me just straight up ignored us and left us to go hungry. Disgraceful.they sure love to contact me when it comes to harassing me for debts that they make up though.

I don't understand why the council engages companies to issue fines and then doesn't let us appeal the fine when it is unfair and unreasonable. I called NSL Ltd the company that handles the councils waste enforcement and they have said , I quote "there is no appeal process, you just have to go to court" Thanks Wandsworth. I'm glad that our £3k per month business rates are paying for such wonderful services.

Properly notified them of my moving out date through the website. Turns out they don't monitor that, and they kept billing me anyway. I had to call them to get a refund, but the call was a bad experience. The person I spoke to on the phone had no social skills -- he didn't know how to engage with another person properly, how to ask the right questions to get the right responses. Worse, he kept condescending at every turn. At some point, I told him not to condescend, and he just stopped responding. I legitimately thought he was going to hang up the phone. Eventually he did respond though, and things got faster after that. In any case, this whole thing strikes me as so juvenile. Why do I need to call you out for you to be professional?! Highly unpleasant experience.

Spent several hours on the phone to this hideous organisation regarding parking. What strikes me most is how Wandsworth council employs incompetents. People who: (1) are unable to read properly, when the role requires them to; (2) Do not have any mental reasoning or ability to think for themselves; and (3) Slur their words in an unintelligible way and get aggressive if you ask them to be clearer. Whole council should be put on special measures and have proper management put into place. From the top down.

RECYCLING ON 6-8 CHARTFIELD AVENUE, PUTNEY. SW15 has been negligent, inconsistent, unreliable, and enough for some residents to decide to move from the location as soon as lock-down/Covid lifts. We have been in contact with several staff within the department for waste management for two years. Every member of staff has worked diligently to resolve the problem. And none have so far been successful. The Recycling is collected for the duration a member of staff assigns to focus on the matter. And no sooner have they removed their attention from it, the shoddy service returns. We have ONE recycling bin that serves 2 blocks of flats - 14 flats. The bin fills rapidly. So needs a weekly collection, and on the SAME DAY - As was arranged at the beginning of the RECYCLING CONTRACT. If the collection is late, even by a day or two, there is nowhere to place our recyling sacks. So we are forced to fill out reports on a weekly basis to REMIND THE RECYCLERS TO COLLECT! In the meantime, whilst we wait for you to alert the collection after we've sent a report, we have to place the sacks in the refuse bins because there's nowhere to put them! What a complete waste of recycling that we have bothered to sift and sort and wash out containers for! If we leave the sacks on the ground beside the bin, foxes are drawn to the site and shred the sacks, litter the area and then defecate EVERYTHERE. And guess who has to clean up the mess? The residents!! This cycle of MESS and problems is created weekly by the poor RECYCLING service. Wandsworth borough, you need to COMPLETELY OVERHAUL your staff. You attract and employ the least educated, the least motivated. And the few members of staff who are fit for purpose are wise enough to eventually leave! More and more residents are exhausted with this council's half-hearted input, and are moving out of London. The lower council rate isn't enough to maintain loyalty to a borough or a city that is excessively expensive with little quality of life. Wandsworth Council, you are ONE of the MAIN REASONS why London is SOON, going to become a sparse zone, inhabited by unfortunate people who sadly cannot afford to leave! London will one day become a ghetto. Watch this space. It's already happening slowly! We are tired of living in a shoddy, filthy, over-populated, littered, polluted, OVER PRICED, stench-filled borough. Tired, tired, tired.

Registering our child, even now, during COVID 19, was super-easy. The administrator was very polite and friendly and the facilities -if you need to change a nappy- are great. If you happen to stand in front of the glass door and can't find the bell, just knock as we did!

Incompetent. Can't even process a simple change of address. I called to advise I was moving to new property and ended up having to call back a further 3 times due to mistake after mistake after mistake. Eventually I thought it was sorted until I moved to my new property to receive a bill addressed to my former flatmate relating to my previous property. I always seem to speak to the same guy who only listens to the first half of your sentence and provides the incorrect answer based on what he hasn't heard and wants to tell you and constantly speaks over you. Query eventually got sorted by a lovely gentleman that listened.

Would recommend you offer more training to your staff on how to be polite and helpful on calls rather than being rude and acting like the caller is an inconvenience. I was calling to fix an issue the council requested I get in touch about. I feel sorry for elderly or less tech savvy people who have to deal with staff over the phone as no doubt they just get fobbed off as well.

Unhelpful rude staff. I called in regards to fraud and was rudely spoken to by an operator, staff where yelling in the back and was redirected to a line completely irrelevant to my issue. when i was finally redirected to the right line the man responded telling me to write my issue to a po box and wait because for some reason his database wasn't working that day but it was the same story he said a day before to me. My issue hasn't be resolved by any of the 9 staff members I have spoken to.

Wandsworth Council clearly doesn't care for anyone in the borough. When phoning them, in this case, nuisance line about a persistent loose door knocking every time the wind blows in the attic room. it took me 3 phones, i had to wait long in the queuing system for about 30 mins. They make you out like you are a nuisance. Never makes you feel they are there to help them, They like fogging you off to different departments. I hate dealing with Wandsworth council but sometimes, you have to contact them as a resident in the borough. What are we even paying taxes for??? what service? Very upset and disgusted with how we are treated!!

I have had no red bills or any contact at all, everything has been paid and fine, and you send me a summons! This affects my credit rating and I'm getting a loan for my wedding next months! what are you playing at!? I cannot call you and you said if I text you'd call back in 2 day s that was 6 days ago. You said if I email you'd email back - that was 6 days ago. You have made a mistake and you are ruining my credit score and I cannot resolve this with you!!!!!!!!!!! Why are you so useless???

EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE, BY PHONE AND THE PAGUE IS DIFFICULT TO SET UP.. They never help you, I called several times and wait for hours to go trough and they hang up. I ask for help because I been trying to set up my account online for parking space, and they say I have to do it online. After I did it there is no way to apply online and they don’t want to explain me how, as I try several times! they just tell you to go and find out for yourself . No customer service at all. My friend called on my behalf because i was already fed up to try to set MY PARKING SPACE when the procedure is not STRAIGHT FORWARD AND EASY AS THEY SAID. But she few second to read my address and the person said call back when u have the address in hand, and HANG UP THE PHONE! RUDE! Hope they can read this and try to be more HELPFUL next time.

Zero professionalism, zero assistance, just trying to hang up the phone and not be disturbed. With all due respect guys, this should be pointed to the person in charge of the customer service (if there is one).

I went in Monday morning for a parking scratch card. As we applied for a parking permit and set the start date from Tuesday (we thought since the website states "it takes 2 days to process") so we postdated it 2 days. Little did we know that the "start date" you set for your resident parking permit application will automatically have your car covered starting from that date onwards. Even if the application is still pending (processing). There wasn't a queue at 9:30am Monday, possibly because it was mid-terms. The lady at the reception was friendly and very helpful. Don't forget to bring your proof of address (license, utility bill etc). Managed to get our parking scratch card within 10-15 minutes. Very efficient and quite impressed actually. Great job!

A response time of 15 days to get back to you via email is completely unacceptable. This isn't the stone age. What's the point of email if your response time is the same as the post? OF COURSE everyone is going to call you instead of go online, and to add, the people on the phones know nothing.

Really horrible management of parking fines when it comes to contacting people. I lost the appeal, was given 14 days to pay, and on the 8th day I received a letter informing me that I now had to pay twice the amount because I had missed the deadline. Every time I call it gets disconnected - I find this absolutely unacceptable and a serious abuse of power.

Automated phone services taking you round and round again. Even if you are lucky to speak to someone they will redirect your call somewhere else and it is cut off instantly- what a misunderstanding. They want you to pay online- any time you go online there is an error on the page- every time. Emergency services available via phone- it is a joke. I took me 45 minutes to be connected- I was in the queue. Good that I was not dead before they connected me.

I think Wandsworth Council's rent collection is inefficient at times and may even be a bit suspect. I had received a notice some months ago saying I owed £25 in service charges, but I only owed £5, according to the agent. Today I received a letter saying I owe £24.22, though I've only missed one payment of £7.05. The agent I spoke to was at a loss to explain the arrears. Either their record keeping is not up to par or something sneaky is going on. They seem to be up to their tricks again. The notices they send out are hard to read and never really up to date. Despite my being regular with my payments, the council constantly says I'm in arrears for different amounts. I think there should be an investigation.

Attended here to get more permits for visitor parking on my street and was waiting 2 hours. Genuinely 2 hours for a small booklet of permits. Maybe if they would answer the phone, I wouldn’t be inconvenienced by going there. Terrible experience.

The first port of call was I pressed 7 and got through to an advisor, her customer service interactions were very bad. She eventually got me to the right department. Her whole manner was not good she really sounded as though she could not be bothered, this is the first time I have called Wandsworth council, and hopefully the last if my message is replied to.

There is a lack of serious from the Wandsworth council team. I was confused on how to pay the council taxes and I kindly sent an email to them through their online form about over a month ago. Had no answer from them. But had receive a letter saying that I need to appear Lavender hill MAGISTRATE COURT FOR NON PAYMENT OF COUNCIL TAX. And of course no way to get them on the phone. They're not helpful at all and are just good to take money out of people's pocket.

Very poorly impressed by Wandsworth Council. Just received a penalty charge notice for stopping in a yellow box area at a junction. What the very efficient employee or computer system of the Council did not consider is that this was secondary to an emergency stop due to a pedestrian running in the junction, which I clearly remember and is clearly seen on the pictures attached the the PCN. Next time I will not stop, I am insured against this kind of accidents, not against the stupidity of the Council.

What do you expect, lowest council tax, staff shortages, ridiculous CE salary, newly appointed directors, managers on the back of experienced staff redundancies and you get an automated voice, a 3 way split of shared services saving money! what service do you really want then, pay a little extra and get real people to talk to, simples....no I do not work for WBC, nor labour , Conservative or Lib dems.
