City Hall is a great place to visit. The building has an interesting yet striking structure. Inside, the architecture is quite nice but to go in you have to go past security but once you are in you're ok.

Great views of 'The City' from the Thames Path in front of City Hall. If you are OCD this building will dive you crazy! You just keep wanting to straighten it up! Perfect spot for Instagrammers especially with the awesome 'batman' building next to it.

This is the new iconic city Hall building, the home of The Lord Mayor of London. It's an eye catching design that looks like either a wonky eye or a wobbly egg. Whatever it looks like to you you won't forget it when you first see it. Even though it is Beautiful it is still a functional office for the lord Mayor and his staff. As a Titus attraction it has an open air amp theatre situated right in front of it, where members of the public can sit and watch free performances or just sit and relax. The surrounding area is very Titus friendly as toilet s and restaurants and seating and landscaped walking area a surround it. Another must see and enjoy place in the heart of ????????London near The Tower Bridge and the Tower of London Castle.

After being used for twenty years as the office of the Mayor (not Lord Mayor) of London, Sadiq Khan, the current mayor announced that in order to save over one million pounds a month in rent they will be moving out at the end of 2021. This bulbous building, designed by Norman Foster is built opposite the Tower of London, next to Tower bridge on an area previously occupied by unused wharves.

I'm going to give city hall five stars, it is great place to hang out by the river. However the security guards can be aggressive towards users of two wheeled transport - can they please chill out and use their common sense. You could enter the building but the Mayor and London Assembly have now moved out because the can't afford the rent - sums London up, even the Mayor can't afford it! I hope that the viewing platform remains a public space.

Lovely place, great views. It took a while to get in due the security checks but after that it was really good. We took the lift to the 9th floor where you a terrace around the building with almost a 360° view. You can see from here the Shard, Tower of London, London Bridge and many other places of interest.

London City Hall is the headquarters of the Greater London Authority (GLA), it has a iconic and unique design..Although its sorrounded by historic buildings it doesnot stand out in a wierd way..it surely stands in harmony with all the other buildings arround it.

How we work for London We have a role in many areas of London life - you probably see our work every day. Find out everything you need to know about London's government. Video: a guide to City Hall Watch to find out what your new Mayor, the London Assembly Members and City Hall are responsible for. Read a transcript of the video How London government is run - City Hall City Hall has one Mayor and 25 Assembly Members who are elected by Londoners. With the support of City Hall's staff they work to make London the best big city in the world. Also known as the Greater London Authority(GLA), it was created after a referendum in 1998, when Londoners voted in favour of a directly elected Mayor to represent London's interests, and a London Assembly to scrutinise his work. How London government is run - the Mayor of London The Mayor is responsible for making London a better place for everyone who visits, lives or works in the city. He provides citywide leadership, setting an overall vision for London and creating plans and policies to achieve it. The Mayor is elected every four years.

It's a stunning pice of architecture and houses the office of the mayor of London. Part of it is open to the public on Monday - Friday from 08:30 - 18:00 and on Friday from 08:30 - 17:30. It has great views out to the river thames and tower bridge and also of the tower of London.

Interesting architecturally, but surrounded by an amazing view of the Thames and it's historical skyline.

Feels like a massive waste of space, took my 3 year old to ride her scooter here and was told to stop by security despite no signage to say that all wheeled items are banned from the entire waterfront. Aggressive staff and security, rude locals, arrogant students. This area does not represent London or the people who live here. Dull and expensive and not worth going to unless you're a tourist.

Great Mac and Cheese with fried chicken! Also very good local craft gin and vodkas. Try the Grey Whale Gin! Nice ambience In the old city hall building. This historic property where Bistro 33 and City Hall Tavern occupies was built in 1938. The Spanish Colonial building, once used for a local city hall and fire department and later a police department

City hall is a lovely place to visit in central London. If you are a tourist or lives in london you will never get bore out of it. City hall is not that far from Tower Bridge and the Shard. It is in walking distance and train station is also very near by. Very live place to be and you will love it. I would love to visit this place again and highly recommended for everyone.

The cafe in the basement is one of the best kept secrets in London - it is fair priced and looks out onto the Scoop, so when summer lunch activities are on, a great spot to hang out. A good venue. There are bag checks to enter but this is not too troublesome as the team are quick and efficient

City hall takes security very seriously. friendly and helpful security and receptionists, we had problems trying to find the entrance proper for dropping off. people answering the phone couldnt do enough to help with directions. met some lovely people from Public Liaison Office Nina and Akhdar. wonderful people and they took us down to the cafe where we had lovely food. such helpful staff serving food also. brilliant visit. 10 out of 10

As far as halls go this is one of the best. Some people say architecturally it looks like something inappropriate but I fully disagree. The bloke who runs it seems pretty cool too. The bloke who used to run it seemed like a bit of a wally. All the staff here seem like cool, well branded individuals too. Would visit again.
