When arriving here i had temperature checked and was asked to wear a face covering i told the guy upon entering that I was exempt and can not wear a face covering because of medical issues I went downstairs to then collect a prescription with my friend and she was told her wait would be around 30 minutes and her prescription should be ready after talking to front desk at the pharmacy part we was then told to take a seat and wait until her ticket number was called we sat quietly and patiently for around 10-15mins until i was confronted by one of the staff in the pharmacy section for not wearing a face covering i politely told her that I was exempt and for medical reasons I can not wear a face covering she then proceeded to tell me if I do not put a face covering on I would have to leave I then asked her so everyone has to wear a face mask even if their exempt she proceeded to tell me yes and that I shouldn’t have been allowed in the surgery without a face covering I felt utterly embarrassed and appalled at the way I was approached and spoken to infront of many other people and other stuff i felt discriminated against and felt like I was being singled out after going back and forth with one of the staff members she then proceeds to call security to remove me and security and 3 other staff members escorted me out of the building all for not wearing a face covering whilst being exempt as I said before I felt embarrassed discriminated against and felt picked on very shocking behaviour from our so called NHS staff if your EXEMPT from wearing face coverings please avoid as you will only be challenged for not wearing one

Absolutely lovely place! Everyone I interacted with was really lovely, and super helpful. Unfortunately I can't seem to remember anyone's names. But the receptionist in the Pink zone was really lovely, as was the Doctor I saw and the lady who checked my bmi, blood pressure etc. They made me feel really comfortable and answered all the questions I had. Really great team, and a big big thank you for today! x

Very poor service of making you wait for hours ............In this clinic usually they always make you wait more than an hour , I don’t see the point of book an appointment time and arriving 15 minuts before your appointment when they make you wait more than an hour and put people who arrived after you in front ! When you are going to talk to the reception they look upset and make you feel guilty that you are complaining for there mistake ! If you can change it for Dean street clinic ....there you will have excellent service and they will make you feel welcome ... some results come straight away and they will give you the treatment straight forward ! ( The staff of Mortimer should go to Dean street to learn how to treat people )

I am so happy that I have found this place - after calling my normal NHS doctor, the private medical app I pay for and other clinics, I couldn't find anyone to help with my repeat contraceptive pill during COVID and didn't feel like my issue was important enough to be taking up a doctor's appointment when they're so constrained at the moment. I was also isolating and they were all refusing to give me a new prescription without a blood pressure check, even though my pill is progesterone only. The receptionist I spoke to at Mortimer Market was so friendly and understanding and booked me an appointment with a Clinician for the next day. The Clinician was lovely and immediately arranged to have some pills posted to my house. I'm so impressed with the service!

I got my coil fitted here yesterday. It was my first time and i was nervous of the pain to the point that i nearly fainted. When I arrived, the staffs showed me where to go very politely then the receptionist checked me in and she also was extremely warm and friendly that really helped calm me down. Then i saw the doctor, she gave me all the information i needed to know carefully in details, and she was nice and gentle, and treated me like my mum could so the whole progress went smooth and painlessly. Last but not least, a nurse was there to assist the doctor but most of the time she stayed by my side to comfort me and helped calm me down as she saw clearly that i was scared. The whole time, she was lovingly nice on another level. I felt so guilty that i did not get their names to mention them probably. I did not get the nightmare I expected but the best experience at a clinic in my life. Thank you very much! My name is Thao and my appointment was at after noon, sept 28. I cannot thank you enough!

I would not have given a single star if that were an option. The receptionists are insensitive and extremely rude. I experienced entirely inappropriate behaviour on almost all occasions. To the point that I contacted the manager concerning these incidence twice. I had no response. Terribly run ‘service’. Quite shocking for 20/20

My visit to Mortimer Market Centre was professional and judgement free. The receptionist Nicki was so welcoming and lovely and tended to me right away. The staff were timely and I didn't have to wait long at all, and was seen at my appointment time. My nurse Michaela was an absolute angel and I cannot commend her work and efforts more highly. She was so caring, understanding and professional, and made sure I felt safe and comfortable. She performed my implant removal and my appointment was done within 25 minutes. The online booking system was great as well. Thank you so much for helping me, and I cannot recommend this clinic enough for the services and care they offer.

I had a really convenient and pleasant experience here today to get my contraceptive implant removed. To do this at my local GP was a faff and required a few appointments to get registered and be referred as they could not do it in-house. By chance I googled for a clinic and this one is within 1 mile of my workplace. I was greeted by really friendly staff, I had only a few minutes wait while I filled some forms out, and the doctor was super friendly and informative. She removed it within minutes and explained the alternative options. I left with another contraceptive option and would recommend to anyone.

I was booked in for the wrong procedure twice in a row however staff were sincerely apologetic and tried to accommodate me the best that they could. The doctor fitting my Gynefix had a very skilled hand and the procedure was quick and I experienced minimal pain. I felt well-informed and looked after from start to finish A+

I hope that they both see this review because I don't believe that I adequately expressed my appreciation. The receptionist (Hyacinth?) was also lovely. Calm and welcoming. I cannot rate my experience high enough.

Minus -100 starts- I had appointment at 14:15 but at 15:25 they called my name while I had conversation with the manger. I said I reject to be seen by unprofessional and rude people. There were just 3 patients before me and and just 2 people after me. I counted 5 staff in there. I told them whatever your excuse is but the number of patients before me, number of staff you had, waiting time does not add up to give you any reasonable excuse. They are really arrogant and cheap people working there. Some staff smelled drug and manger tired to silence me by trying clever speaking tactics to blame me for this waiting time. This was not first time me and others experienced this in this highly unprofessional place. Will someone from NHS will take these complaints seriously?? I doubt it.

Went to have an IUD fitted and my doctor, Jane, was amazing. So friendly, so helpful and the whole process was just so easy. Booked an appointment for the same day and was in and out within 45 minutes. I had a Dr, Sam, who was training sitting in and he was so lovely and really helpful. Would definitely recommend.

I could not recommend this centre more. I was informed when there were slight overruns, treated with professionalism and care, encouraged to sit for as long as necessary afterwards until i felt better, when i didn't feel any better i was cared for by other doctors and nurses and offered a heat pad as well as biscuits and ribena countless times.

Booked appt. At 11.30am. Was told by a manager at 1230 that there was a shortage of staff. Then called in by doc at 1.15. He went through a form. Checked my concern and then said nurse will take specimen. Then left me in the waiting area. Meanwhile nurses are walking about congratulating each other over birthdays and weddings. No eye contact nothing. Dont know when I will be called!! Its 13.40pm now. Thanks for giving me an appointment at 1140 and taking up the rest of my dayoff morning.

I was told by one of the nurses that I could have a cervical screening test. The nurse offered me one there and then. I stupidly refused. I went to my GP and was not able to get an appointment. I made another appointment and turned up and asked for the test only to be told the clinic did not offer it. Sums up the NHS! Doing the worst for its patients to save money!

Very good service .....BUT It is so confusing finding your way around. There are several clinics within the Mortimer Market Centre, and the SMS you receive after booking the appointment doesn't tell you which one. Consequently there are confused individuals displaying SMS messages to receptionists and asking which clinic they should be attending. This would be so easy to clear up simply by inserting "Please attend the Margaret Pyke/Pink Clinic" etc.

I'm been going to Mortimer Market for about 7 years as an outpatient and user of their STD check service. They are always helpful and efficient, and their HIV service is outstanding. If you need a quick STD check they are pretty good, and as the centre that diagnosed me with HIV I don't think I could have been in better hands the way they dealt with it. Highly recommend.

A good "Special Clinic", its good for those who are sexually active to book in say every 5 - 8 months,that will mean that anything which needs treatment gets caught quickly. This does not mean that if you get a contract Notification you should give a a high priority, preferably within 24 hours, but not longer than 72 hours.

Smiling and essentially laughing at my misfortune of not having booked an appointment. No space for exceptions. Disgusted by the young lady working at reception. Fantastic walk in sexual Heath services - I was seen almost straight away by a really nice non judgemental doctor who was so thorough it's hard to believe. I left with vaccines and condoms and appointments. Everything I could ever need! Strongly recommend this place. It's not only super confidential but the place is hidden away around the back of the buildings on Tottenham Court Road so people don't even see you come and go.

The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because I don't normally do so (with any review); I am very satisfied with the way I am normally received at this clinic,from the staff in reception to nurses they all seem to engage and inform to the best of their abilities in a friendly yet professional way which is my favourite way. They seem to be very organised, it is never overcrowded as man and female have different facilities as well as no sharing with any other hospital departments all and all I could not ask for more and even though is out of the way for me I will continue to book my appointments with this clinic which is what happens when you find good service alongside good costumer service and trust me .....often not easy to find.

Horrible service. I went to this clinic a few months ago for a regular STD test. They said I would get my results back within a week. Three weeks passed, I phoned them asking why the never got back to me, they said they would send them to me within 24 hours. Six months later and I am still waiting, they never bothered. To leave someone hanging and waiting on such a thing is inexcusable. Never going back there again.

I had an appointment and still had to wait an hour and 15minutes to be seen. Fortunately I had the whole afternoon free. I was told that they were short staffed, hence the wait. A couple of ladies had to leave without being seen because the wait as so long. This is an important, free service which I am grateful for. However, there seems to be an issue with their timings, if women are aware of this they can accommodate for this when planning their visit. So my advice would be give yourself plenty of time to be seen.

I have been with the clinic since 2012 and have always been very happy with the service. Yesterday I went to walk in clinic and was told they no longer provide “walk in” services. I was quite upset, as online it still says they have “walk in”. To that I was told –the website is old and the information is wrong. The number on the website is also completely wrong one too. Unfortunately that was not even the worst part. I was told by the young receptionist that I need to make an appointment online. Fair enough, but I was hoping she can book one for me, as I was already there. Interestingly enough she said she cannot do that, only way to do it is on line. That got me thinking- what if I am an elderly person and don’t use internet?? Anyway, when I asked her that-she told me to move aside, as she has another client. I found that very rude and disrespectful. Working as a Front of house manager I am aware what kind of service should be provided and I did not receive even half of what’s expected. She should not be “front of house” staff, as she has no manners. Very disappointed.
