Moved to the practice after starting work nearby. After an initial assessment I was presented with a treatment plan and an explanation of the fillings that needed to be done. I came a few times over the next month to have the work completed and was able to find appointment times flexible around my work (8am slots, and slots after 5:30) As I was usually heading to work after, the dentist was happy to do the fillings without anaesthetic, and in fact worked slow enough that they didn't hurt at all. Very happy with the work done - I payed the band 2 NHS price at the start and for that I had the initial checkup, a teeth cleaning, and several fillings

A terrible practice do not visit unless you wanted to be treated badly by the dentist. The Indian dentist is very rude and makes rubbish dentures she does not listen to what you have to say and she is obnoxious. She told my mum she did not need a denture to eat food they do not care about patients stay away from this place it is run by morons. The receptionists don;t speak good English and are not proper people to be there and neither are the dentists.

Treated like an animal. I had root canal treatment done 5 months ago and a crown fitted. During a long flight back to the UK I began to feel some pain. Thinking it maybe to do with cabin air pressure I tolerated it for the next few days. However, it seemed to be getting worse and so I contacted the dentist and was given an appointment for close of business the next day. Dr Shah said she could see no sign of infection and that it might settle down. I asked for antibiotics but was told no, and that if it hadn’t settled down in another 2 days to send her an email and she would refer me to a specialist. She also told me treatment by a specialist would be a 4 month wait. As far as pain relief I was told to continue taking paracetamol and ibuprofen. Dr Shah also made the comment that it would have been better if I had avoided painkillers before seeing her. Very helpful! I endured another days increasing pain but by day 2 it was becoming intolerable and so telephoned and asked reception if they could ask Dr Shah to call me when free as I was in increasing pain. Following on from her previous comment I refrained from taking more painkillers so that she could see the pain I was in. I waited, and waited. After 4 hours I called again. Reception said she was busy but they would get back to me when they had had a chance to speak with her. In the meantime I found an alternative dentist who saw me as an emergency and immediately prescribed antibiotics. During my visit there, Reception left a message on my voicemail saying “as Dr Shah has told you could you send her an email”. Really, this is their level of patient care. The antibiotics did not work straight away and so the pain got worse which resulted in me having to go to A&E to get stronger pain relief. Had they been prescribed sooner I doubt this would have been necessary. Dr Shah subsequently called me, 30 hours after my initial call, from the airport as she was going on holiday. I explained I had gone elsewhere and been given antibiotics as I was in considerable pain. She proceeded to tell me how she had been acting within guidelines and that she too had been suffering, with a cold, but had made it into work for the sake of her patients. If you have any expectations of a sense of human decency from your dentist then I would advise, as I have, that you go elsewhere.

It's almost impossible to get through to anyone on the phone now. The online booking is limited to one dentist. Sorry to say this, your service is getting from bad to worse and I'm not surprised if you lose some of your customers!!

The dentists are fantastic. The receptionists are always, and without exception, rude, unhelpful and have a really unpleasant and aggressive attitude.

Hi all I have been to many dentist practices over the last 40 years but none off them come anywhere near as good as Westminster House dental practice the receptionists are very welcoming and good at there job. My lovely dentist Anjuli and her colleague Sagal actually saved my life last May 2017 when they noticed a very small spot on my tongue and then referred me to guy's hospital And turned out to be cancer of the tongue Luckily they removed the tumour and I am now OK I am sure without them noticing the cancer I would still be smoking and in real trouble Ty both The practice also has a amazing hygienist Jamie who has done wonders with my terrible teeth and gums and is the 1st hygienist I have been happy to see as I am never in pain when I see her You will never find a better practice and staff All the best Laurence

I have been registered with this practice for 8 years now and in that time I have never experienced anything other than superb service. Highly competent dentists and hygienists plus pleasant and helpful administration staff.

I've had only positive experiences here (despite not having perfect teeth and needing a fair bit of work). Have always found the staff to be both friendly and professional.

I was looking for a close by dental practice to where I live because of my hectic work schedule. I initially made an appointment to have a check up and because one of my molars was starting to hurt but not to a worrying extent. Saw the dentist, said I couldn't get x-rays (pregnant) but would put in a temp filling and have it rechecked after giving birth. She also said I had two other caries that needed fillings which to be honest I never felt before but hey she's the professional. She kept asking if I wanted to get it done on the NHS or privately, I thought to myself why not get it privately done because I don't want that silver stuff shining through my mouth. Came in got all three done, was told it would be sensitive for a few days. A month later, I made another appointment because my teeth were hurting more than they did before the procedures, went in had a check and all I got was you need to see the person who did your procedure because you might need an x-ray and we'll have her call you...which she hasn't done. I am now in pain and on soft food diets only, I've made an appointment elsewhere. Going through the reviews now, it seems the people who were happy with their treatments were the ones who paid privately and the displeased ones were on the NHS. So my advice would be think carefully before going in for a procedure.

Went to do an emergency treatment because my tooth was broken. (Under NHS) The dentist put a semi-permanent filling, did an x ray and check up, was nice and friendly. I thought to myself that it is a good start, as the practice was recommended to me by a friend who's been using them (but as private). A week after I started noticing that the filling was dissolving slowly and then had a hole in it. I emailed practice, as due to my work and travelling abroad for meetings, I am unable to call. Received a response few days later. Arranged a new appointment. Again, due to my work, it was very difficult, but I managed to come in right before my flight. Explained to the dentist that I feel that new filling has a hole in it. She couldn't see it but wanted to put fillings in the teeth which I didn't have a problem with but as a person who never had a filling done previously, I trusted the dentist and her professionalism, especially as mentioned earlier, this practice was recommended to me. After I've left I knew that there is an outstanding treatment, but AGAIN, I wasn't able to return the week after or even two weeks after this first treatment (It was beginning of August) I've received an email from the practice saying I have to return, otherwise they will report me to the Dental Board and there will be additional charges. Multiple emails have been sent to the practice explaining my situation and asking for the availability of appointments beginning of September - no response STILL, this is why I've decided to leave a review. And on top of all of that, the teeth which the dentist "repaired", the ones I DIDNT HAVE a problem with, occasionally hurt. I will have to look for another dental practice and have to try to fix it and I don't know how much money and stress it will cost me now. Would advise to stay away from this place (especially to NHS patients) as the customer service and the treatments are total disappointment.

I went in there about 4months ago to get a filling as I was having issues with one tooth. Dentist put in the porcelain which I asked for and I left, everything seemed fine. Said it may be sensitive for two weeks. After the anesthetic wore off it was indeed sensitive. I left it for two weeks and then called back as was far too sensitive. Dentist told me it's fine, did not do any further xrays and said it would be ok after another few weeks. That a nerve may be damaged.... (Which could only happen during drilling as tooth was not that bad to start with) 3 months later and it's the same. I can not bite on anything hard, like if a nut is in something. So more a less chewing on one side of my mouth. Dentist was lovely, but at the end of the day I went in to get that specific issue sorted and it's still affecting me.

Very surprised this practice doesn't have a higher rating. The booking system and appointment reminder service alone merits at least 4*, and it is one of a few which is still open to NHS patients in Wesmintser, a rarity in itself. I can only talk about my experience with Dr Tank - shes always puts her patients' comfort foremost, and is rare in that she provides the patient with all the varying treatment options irregardless of cost (in my experience most dentists dont do this). Also comes complete with premium Spotify playlist which makes a big difference to the dreadful Capital FM most dentist play :)

Went to have a simple root canal procedure and crown on the NHS. The dentist claimed that it was too complicated for her and tried to get me to have it done privately with a colleague. Sureuly the NHS dentists are trained! I smell a scam. .

I have had two bad experiences at this practice. The first a while back, relating to poor client care/distrust of patients and an unattractive insistence on money up front. The second relates to a very poor experience with a particular dentist who I visited for a chipped tooth. She was alarmist in nature and told me i may need to spend thousands on an implant and other treaments when in fact i only needed a filling. I was made to feel my teeth were in a terrible state and needed lots of work when there was nothing wrong with them ( confirmed by another dentist). The same dentist then tried to overcharge me and became very unpleasant when i queried the charge. On the plus side, i felt so strongly about the lack of professionalism that i complained and the practice dealt with the complaint well. Even so, i would hesitate to ever recommend the practice becuase of this experience.
