Had a distubring experience in this shop today. I went downstairs for my purchase turned around , the assistant stood very close behind me pretending he was looking at his phone. Confronting him, he patronisingly said he was there to help me. I was clearly being racially profiled, discrimination of this kind is very distasteful.

Good range of products and very competitive price. Staff are well trained and very helpful. Enough for most of the house works. Opening times very generous as well. Overall very very helpful store!

A nice branch of a large chain of stores
The ground floor is small but much larger basement premises selling most hardware goods that you would expect from such a store

Why would I review a Robert Dyas?
Well the staff, they are always friendly and helpful, yes it is expensive, it is a high street store, yes they won't know about all the details in the world, but they are pretty great at trying to help.
Also, they helped me find a part I needed in another shop and gave me directions to go get it and if they didn't would tell me of a competitor to help.
