We had spent a great time in After Noah's lovely shop many months ago and bought some lovely toys. When we needed a Birthday present during lockdown we were very pleased to discover their online shop. The items we bought came very quickly, in a superb parcel that reminded us of the lovely staff - they are every bit as friendly online as they are in person. Can't thank you enough guys!

After Noah's service and communication was excellent on both web-chat and via email. Helped check availability of the Sofa we had chosen, always prompt in reply. Big thank you to Matthew, the order process was easy and the Swyft sofa arrived within 2 working days of ordering. Look forward to our next purchase from After Noah. Keep up the good work!

Great company to deal with. I ordered a sofa and they were honest about the likely lead time but it was delivered sooner than expected. The whole process was swift and easy and all questions answers over the phone and also promptly via email. The delivery company were also excellent - Covid safe, on time and with great communication.

Fantastic treasure and gift shop upstairs with half the level given to delightful children's items such as handmade puppets. Downstairs is where the workshop is located and all of the gloriously restored modern, retro and vintage furniture along with appropriate decorative items - we finally left with the map of London on our umpteenth visit. Stop and read the note about the store's heritage and the current third generation owner. Well worth a visit, time and time again.

Love these guys! Everything their website suggests and more. Got a bit of a Mad Men vibe going on and the G Plan Fifty Nine sofa just fitted the bill. Brill customers service, kept us informed throughout the process and the delivery boys couldn't have been more helpful. This year's made me think and to steer clear of the big boys and support from a local, family-run shops like this one and After Noah just proved why. Thanks to Simon and Sunny for all their help. We would like to say a massive thank you to you and everyone at After Noah for the friendly and wonderful service you provided. Everything from the price reduction, the help in ordering, the draft emails, the video of the chair, the phone calls, the storage of the goods at your warehouse and even the arranging of the transport has been absolutely beyond what we expected. From London to Vienna with nothing but expertise! Highly recommended and we would definitely use them again without hesitation!

This is a lovely shop. It is a great place for kids. I used to take my son to the toy part when he was little which was like going to Aladdin s cave for him. I hadn't been to the shop in a while and found some fantastic early Christmas presents. Interesting choice of items on sale and the staff were friendly.

One of my favourite stores in London. Excellent place if you're looking for something high quality but a little bit different for your home. Great children's section too.

Such a nice little shop - found them online. Just wanted say a big thank you to Sunny who held my hand (not literally in these Covid times, ????) throughout the ordering process, right up to delivery which we received today and I'm sitting on it right now! When this is all over, I'll be down to London to see them in real life. Merry Christmas.

Ordered 6 stunning green dining chairs. On delivery I noticed a minor fault with two of them and contacted customer service. What a refreshing surprise!! They could not have been more helpful! Both chairs were replaced and redelivered. Highly recommend these guys for a fantastic product and brilliant customer service. And I LOVE my chairs!!!! Thank you!

Very good service & delivery was very quick. I ordered an Ox/Bull amulet, in enough time for the coming Chinese New Year 2021, as everywhere sells out, nearer to the time. I highly recommend, as this Ox/Bull is a good size & very well made. Should be placed in the West. Every home should have one ☯️

Thank you Simon for all your assistance last week . I had been looking for a way to get a larger sofa into our basement than the two seater sofa we had - I came across Swyft sofas whilst researching online and called Simon to ask for his advice and opinion. The 3 seater model 2 that we bought arrived within 3 days, fitted easily down our turning and narrow staircase and we are delighted with it. It looks terrific, is very comfortable, and of great quality. I was sceptical about the idea of a modular sofa to begin with but it is very well made and fitted together in minutes. You would have no idea that it arrived in 3 boxes and was slotted together on site. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one or recommend it. Thanks Simon - The sofa was everything you said it was, and the level of service you provided was excellent

Astutely curated and inventive assortment of household goods, furnishings, gifts, toys and ancillaries. Some retro, repro and second-hand furniture with restoration and refurbishing undertaken. A mild bias and tippy-toe here away from the obvious and familiar without venturing too far into the netherworld of the truly quirky and unconventional. Adept traders with an eye for the flavour of contemporary tastes and their clientele's predilections. Prices within reason. Staff courteous and helpful. Recommended

I have been an After Noah fan for years and was incredibly sad when they closed on King’s Road. After Noah consistently has good gifts and toys.

So I ordered a £1200 G-plan sofa bed, but on re reading the terms and conditions , I realized that After Noah did not offer the usual distance selling rights (eg, if the sofa bed turned out to be clunky/poor quality/uncomfortable I would have no right to return it after delivery) As I hadn't had the opportunity to see the sofa because of lockdown, I decided it would best to cancel until I had chance to visit. I had no idea this would be a problem as I'd only placed the order the night before - and the delivery lead time was sixteen weeks! Their response? 'You can't cancel as it's already gone to the manufacturer, it's in their system and being made to your specification.' then came 'You should have read the contract properly.' and then 'If we do let you cancel, There'll be a 20% cancellation fee ' The manager, Matthew, was possibly one of the most pompous and sarcastic people I've ever spoken to. I was gobsmacked. I had always thought that online orders allowed a 24 hour cooling off period - but turns out - NOT if they are from After Noah. So, after some debate the order stands as I'm not handing over a £250 cancellation fee for nothing. Sadly, if the sofa bed arrives and is rubbish, I'm stuck with it. Not sure After Noah are the friendly, accommodating folk their website makes them out to be (purely my opinion) Would never, ever use them again. Update!!!!!!!******* The manager, Matthew, took exception to my online reviews, sending me what I can only describe as a bizarre and unbalanced email rant, accusing me, among other things, of lying (I'd love to post it here, but sadly, there isn't room) He said I was 'foolish in the extreme' for not reading the terms and conditions more thoroughly the night before. He announced they would not be fulling my order, but would be charging 10% for their inconvenience. I am now £125 out of pocket!!! Is that even legal? He then tried to bully me into removing the perfectly truthful reviews! After Noah seem desperate for a sale at any cost. Friendly family company? I think not. Buy a toy. Don't ever buy a sofa.

I never expected to experience such an appalling and unempathetic service from an "independant" shop. After my husband spoke to the manager on the phone, trying to get in touch with Celtheath to rearrange a badly scheduled delivery slot, he was told by the sarcastic Simon he "doesn't have a magic batphone to get in touch with them" and to just continuously ring, and ring, and ring. If you can't get through...tough. The constant interruptions whilst we spoke to explain what was happening, sighing and clear lack of responsibility for an order placed with them was a very stark sign that this was a huge error on our part to have given them our business. Great start to a dreadful few weeks. Our sofa couldn't fit up the stairs to our flat. Such a shame but things happen! When we reached out to After Noah for support and solutions, we were greeted with nothing but lack of care, boredom and straight refusal to show any kind of care whatsoever. We had grievance with Celtheath, they are not equipped to deliver sofas in an alternative capacity. As usual, the disparity in wealth rings hard and true here. It's all good if you've got a house, or a big flat with a huge open walkway where someone can throw your furniture down the hallway. But if you're from a humble home, you don't have the privilege of space, do not buy furniture from this store. They claim to be a family run business, as they'll ram down your throat if you dare question their terrible processes or take issue with their partners, but they are the total opposite. I've had better care and conversation with my dog over the debacle of this sofa delivery who has been very understanding of the tears, frustration and anxiety of a pregnant woman getting bigger every day, being sat on a hardwood floor, besides herself that she'll be not only out of pocket by £1200 with a baby on the way, but will be spending the next few months crippled and uncomfortable. Privileged families screwing over the less fortunate - what a surprise. Over an extra £300 later, we have sorted out our issue with little to no help from Matthew (Don't dare call him Matt. Probably where it all went wrong.) Dear Matthew, You have treated us with no respect whatsoever, and to claim you're a "family" business is an insult to genuine, hardworking, family run businesses across London. The arrogance and snobbery that is seeping out of your store is horrific, and you don't deserve to operate here. Consumers - Be weary. Buy a cushion or a book, you'll probably be safe there, but if somethings wrong with that then you've got no hope!

From the moment we walked into After Noah the service was relaxed, professional and friendly. We had searched for a specific GPlan vintage sofa and After Noah we the only stockists we could find in the south east. Ordering was simple and competitive and most importantly the follow on delivery service was slick and professional. The delivery guys were a pleasure to deal with and delivered on time. Well done After Noah we are very impressed.

I have always loved After Noah, as they have the best gifts! Now I love them even more as they have shown me some excellent customer service this Saturday. I went back with a beautiful silver ring I bought mid March, which unfortunately brook after 2 months. Expecting they might sent it of for repair, they completely surprised me by exchanging it! 5 stars well and truly deserved.

It was actually the online experience, I ordered a large item and paid but then after the transaction I received an email telling me that the free delivery was only available on a Friday. A large piece of garden furniture is not really the sort of item that I can try and carry on the tube. To restrict the delivery to one day out of seven but not warn me during the order process didn't feel very fair and when I called there was no attempt to offer any sort of alternative solution. This is actually the only bad review I have left in Google I believe

Quirky, hipster shop with a wide array of toys and decorations for the home. Great if you are into that style. Perhaps more interesting is the antique repair services from its workshop which does great restoration work. There is a minimum repair charge of £180 though.
