Through the Pandemic, this store has been fantastic and the staff are beyond wonderful. There is a great variety and many imaginative types of food.
Going into this store is a pleasure and sometimes a bit like a World Tour with the marvellous staff from different countries. Thank you!!!

OK sized store in Portslade. Aldi is great and staff are excellent. They have this store and a couple in Brighton. But we need a store in Hove as well. Please open a new larger Hove store thanks

Like always very cheap everything in my opinion but again only 4 starts for the way they are organized especially when you queue with just simple basket with 4-5 items. They should have a till only for people who don't buy to much. All in all good.

Well, Aldi UK have just lost an entire family of shoppers.
My mother in law has just been kicked out of the Portslade branch....for having her Assistance Dog with her...
She has been shopping in the store since it opened, and all the staff know she is disabled and vulnerable. She has been taking her assistance dog Millie with her for the last few months..
Today, the manager decided to kick her out for having her dog with her.
This is a breach of the Equalities Act 2010, which states she is allowed to take her service dog with her.
This isn't the first time Aldi has done this, it's all over the press..
Bye bye Aldi!

Cheap items, great quality, had some trouble with one member of the staff who was rude about my epilepsy; wrote a letter to the manager and spoke with her personally, haven't seen him since. I'm sure they will be doing training to better handle certain situations next time, as there is a wide variety of people in Brighton.

Got a few nice products in here, but the layout is like a jumble sale. A good control of amount of customers in the store, but with no one way system and the current layout it is impossible to stick to social distance. Not that good selection of products compared to Aldi in London Road for example.
