Pretty good new store. It's clean and tidy and well laid out. There is a good selection and prices are very reasonable for the quality. A little untidy out front with lots of litter blowing around the car park. Quite a lot of space given over to the Middle of Lidl aisles. Good if you want that sort of thing!

Myself and husband went shopping here for first time...what can I say amazing store, aisles were wide place was clean and really bright. When I saw that my usual bread had been sold out, I said to my husband they did not have it, then this young man who was doing his shopping asked what bread I wanted and that he was the store manager. He went and got me my bread, then started filling up the shelf’s. He told me he had finished work and was doing his shopping when he over heard me say about the bread. Absolutely amazing service I received in Hove store. We have now changed our store from Shoreham to Hove. Well done Sam and team Lidl Hove for a very enjoyable shopping trip, first class service once again amazing..

Nice and clean.
The bread is usually great at Lidl. But the baguettes here are very inconsistent. I've had 3 in 3 different occasions. All well off too long cooked or too short. And I swear the one I got the 2nd day it opened was stale from the first day left over.

This store is a bit of a hit and a miss. It is bright, open and airy for the most part but there are some big draw-backs. The bakery has been the best part of other Lidl stores though the layout of this stor has it right at the front door. As a result there is a lot of crowding right inside the front door, preventing people from easily getting. Also, as the shelving is curved, it causes people to have to bunch in together when choosing items. This store is good for household goods and other non-perishable items but it struggles with its fresh food.

A brand new store (opened 8th April 2021) so it’s clean, tidy and spacious. A good place to buy some freshly baked pastries for a picnic in Hove Park opposite! A welcome addition to the area which I’m sure will bring footfall to the other nearby retailers.

Store itself is nice, staff nice and helpful considering the circumstances but the fruit and veg was manky and lasted less than 24 hours....the only thing that lasted was the cravendale milk. Car park is an absolute shambles especially with mongoloids being unable to drive their 4x4's properly as this happens to be the only car park without an arrow system. I feel sorry for the other businesses sharing the carpark. You pay for what you get unfortunately.

This brand new Lidl which it opened in April 2021 near my home in Hove is really good so I don’t have to go all the way to Shoreham for food shopping.
It looks kinda big from the inside but it’s obviously busy most of the week like all Lidl’s do across the UK overall I like having Lidl very close to where I live and it’s right next to the Hove Park including the Burger King and Nando’s for eating and drinking.
I would give this Lidl 5 stars and a solid 8.5 out of 10. ????????????????????????????

Nice big clean store...but very disappointed....most of the fruit and vegetables where off.. when I mentioned it, I was told it was because they had been busy.
Being the first day of opening,
surely this would be a priority?

The store is spacious & clean but there are a few drawbacks to its location. The 1st point is getting into the car park. Due to the fact the trolleys are sited in the car park, it means anyone coming in & out of the store is crossing in front of the traffic which causes chaos. 2nd the plants & compost are located in a narrow passage outside the store (OK there is nowhere else they can go! ) this means people who are trying to buy these products are struggling to fill their trolleys & spilling out into the road & subsequently getting in the way of those going into the store & entering the car park. 3rd the fresh baked food counter is too near the store entrance & people choosing their produce are again getting in the way of those entering the store. I can't make any recommendations other than to say the actual building should have been built further back allowing more frontage for plants etc &/or trolley park.

Went to get a much coveted paddleboard this week and queued outsiydr at 07:30. I was a bit anxious about this but very impressed with how organised the store was. They knew there would be a high demand and the manager Sam was on hand at the entrance to direct people who wanted paddleboards one way and regular shoppers the other. I was a bit worried it would be carnage but it was the complete opposite. Got my paddleboard with minimal stress!

Been looking forward to this store opening since i heard about it So after seeing all the great words in the argus and after giving it a day after opening I decided to go I went in at 11.00 straight off the bat not covid friendly at all also shelfs were being filled with cages which was causing more pinch points in the aisles than anything good veg and fruit was going rotten staff seemed happy and helpfull but in my eyes not enough to redeem personally might go there again in a few weeks and maybe re-write my review but for now they get 2 stars cause definitely needs some attention to details

Big new store with friendly staff. Very practical with enough range to do a full shop. Really good prices on branded products and booze. Not impressed by the quality of own brand food compared to ALDI or Tesco, with lettuce heads gone off the next day after buying and tiramisu pots bland and artificial. Will use for household essentials as v cheap and easy to get to from the bike lane on Old Shoreham Road.

This is the newest Lidl based in the old , toys are us , shop opposite Hove Park. Much larger than he shop at Whitehawk...the same range of products as all of these stores so no compliance there ...but the car park gets VERY full and " in my opinion " not anough disabled parking. Edo
