Arrived at 2.00pm. Car park heaving. Very busy. Shop was also very busy because staff were re-stocking the shelves and the isles were crowded with produce. NOT complaining because it's such a good shop with very good produce at great prices. Do all my major shopping here!

Would be better if they had better stock control....and also, surprisingly, Tesco are cheaper on some areas..eg fresh fruit... raspberries...as are Asda (the latter with a superior product). Little things like this let them down.

I really like shopping at Aldi, the food is great value and it tastes good as well, which is a bonus. The only with this store is the parking, there isn't enough for how popular the store is. It's even worse when a lorry is delivering. Overall though it's a good place to shop. Would recommend.

Love Aldi! The staff here are usually very polite and very helpful! Great value food and drink and love a bargain from the middle aisle. The only negative to this place is the parking. The car park is always a crazy nightmare, I would recommend avoiding driving there if you can

No staff at door to help police people coming in and out or any signs to explain what their corona virus policies are. i found staff quite rude but to be fair i found them to be unhelpful and rude pre lockdown so that's not changed.

They lose a star (nearly 2 actually) because they sometimes go a little too far in their efforts to scan shopping quickly, especially considering the tiny bag loading area they provide for customers, I nearly had my mobile phone pushed off the counter today by an overzealous checkout guy, who was clearly getting a little bit impatient that I couldn't pack as fast as he could scan (and he bruised my bananas in the process). I would hate to think what that must be like for anyone less able than myself, pretty unpleasant I would imagine, it would certainly be enough to put me off going there and choose List instead. However, you can't fault much else at Aldi generally, their fresh produce is consistently of a good quality, usually much better (and cheaper) than my local Co-op and there are a couple of products that I have been unable to find better elsewhere (their Madagascan Vanilla White Chocolate for example - drool!!!) Just be careful of the middle aisles, not all that stuff is a bargain (some is,) check out the prices on Amazon and eBay before putting something in your basket, otherwise happy shopping!!!

Very reasonable prices and great selection of fresh produce. Does get very busy though, be prepared to have your trolley ready as goods are trust towards you at speed when you check out. Staff are hit and miss, most lovely and try their best to help although sadly there have been a few occasions when they have been unhelpful or when asking for help have not returned to tell me if goods are in stock, only to find them back stocking a shelf. Great prices but shopping there can be stressful, particularly evenings and weekends

It should be noted that this store only opens til 8pm Monday to Friday, not 10pm like the other stores. This is because of their car park and the residents living upstairs. Sunday is still 10am until 4pm.

Small-ish supermarket in Portslade, staff member I spoke to was helpful, but they had sold out of the special offer I wanted. Seemed to have decent enough selection of food. Convenient if you live locally, and reasonably priced.
