They have what you need, sure, but don't expect helpful service. Instead, you can expect to be roundly patronised for asking for help. I guess it's good if you know cars and proper terminology. Had to go back a second time as the first time, there was a tough, hand written,. "Had to go out, back in 5" 15 minutes later and still no return. I don't think I will be back in a hurry.

Very helpful, especially when I had not appropriate sizes socket set to remove an old battery on my mum's car around the corner. Purchased a battery. Got a £10 off trade in when I took in the old one. He let me drop it in after I'd done the swap, and kindly lent me the store socket spanner so I could complete the swap quickly. Much appreciated. So nice to encounter some proper customer service. Thank you

I go into Motorworld quite often. I find they are so much more helpful than other places I could mention. I have had batteries, light bulbs and wipers fitted free for me and also finding the right oil and antifreeze for my car. If the item you need is not in stock they will order it in. The lads cannot do enough for you. Top notch marks in my book. Great service

BAD EXPERIENCE!!!! I am a new driver and i have a Hyundai matrix, my stereo and interior lights kept going (fuse kept blowing) so went into motorworld for some advise as to why the fuses kept on blowing and he advised me to try a bigger fuse which was a 2.5 it didnt work so took the fuse straight out and the next day i took my car down to my father-in-law so he could have a look and he opened all up the right hand door to notice all my wires has corroded now my windows won't open and i can't even take my children out as the car gets that hot and my air con is broke, i haven't bothered going back as i have lost the receipt to the fuse and i will defiantly not use this shop again!!

The law quite clearly states that you need a V5 document and a form of ID to have number plates made up. however at this shop unless you are carrying your driving license then the answer is no. How can a shop go against the law ??? snotty customer service - bad attitude and bad advice - steer clear oh and if you haven't got a local accent then dont bother diabolical customer service and a zero star rating !!!!!!!

I went to Halfords to try and get some carplan trade valet tyre slick in 5 litres and they just said go online and order some so I went to motor world and couldn't find it so I asked and they were very helpful and put there hands straight on it I couldn't be more happy with the customer service I will definitely be back as I am a regular customer thumbs up for me

Never been so disgusted with a service in my entire life. I've never met such rude Arragant people. I explained my rear window wiper needed the whole thing replacing and I wanted it fitted, to then make me pay (baring in mind my grandad is 70 and didn't understand) to then tell him he would have to come back later, surly this should of been explained that you needed to order a part and not rob someone's money before you explain, , went back next day ( today 21st January) for them to pass me the blade and refused to fit it, I said shouldn't you of told us this before you took his money? I wanted a refund and they refused, my grandad didn't want any trouble, so we walked off and I wasn't happy. we then spent 2 hours trying to get a garage to fix It and then for a garage who knew what he was doing and was lovely told us the idiots are Motor worlds at chaddesden had sold us the wrong product. He had sold us a product for a 2003 Micra, when we have a 51 reg. So we had to go all the way back to Chad and get a refund for the ignorant scum behind the desk to say he thought it was the wrong one but still let us leave when I asked for a refund in the first place. You don't deserve to be trading and I hope no one has to suffer like we did. Definitely lost my trade and I won't be returning. Utter idiots.
