I was waiting in the queue while one lady was getting served with foreign currency, took ever so long because the staff was having a long pointless conversation , after the customer was done the staff closed the counter and told me to go to the front counter and he said he can't serve me either. When paul and gina was running the post office it was much better. Very poor customer service!!avoid avoid avoid

New Asian Lady Someone below hit the nail on the head, makes you feel like she’s doing you a favour. No idea how she is still working there! Avoid like the plague On 3 separate occasions I have been quoted for a parcel and walked away thinking it’s way too much and then posted the same parcel from town and it’s been third of the price that have been quoted at post office! Even today they quoted me £3.00 for a small parcel, 1st class record and I thought that’s way to much.
Not to mention both the Indian ladies are always, repeat always miserable and unhelpful!
Post office to be avoided at any cost!! RIP OFF PRICE

It used to be such a wonderful local post office but since the change of ownership it is a place to AVOID AT ALL COST. If you are looking for someone who does not see beyond procedures, this is your place but if you look for humane approach, kindness and generosity which was so important to previous owners, forget it. This is capitalism and egocentrism in its purest. Shame given the times we live in where human understanding and care are so important. I will be going elsewhere from now on.

It use to be a good post office until the owners changed. I asked for a service to send some crystal glasses which would cover them for loss or breakage. A service was offered which I accepted but the crystal glasses arrived mostly broken. I put a claim in to be advised the crystal glasses were not covered for breakage. The post office refunded the service back but I lost over £100. So I now go elsewhere due to incompetence

Visited today for the first time. I wanted to change some details re the status of my car. I was unsure of what was required. The member of staff who dealt with me could not have been more helpful. He put me at ease and made sure that everything was done correctly. I was very impressed with his knowledge and all round customer service skills. Whilst in the building I had a look at the general store side of the buiness. Everywhere was very clean and the store was well stocked with reasonably priced items

SO rude & cold/unwelcoming since there has been a change of owners. No eye contact, no hello, minimal communication & arrogant in their approach to customers. It is really unbelievable. Also if you pay with cash you don't get given a receipt, for some reason?! Dodgy and illegal, HMRC should be alerted.
