Horrific. Expecting redirected parcel from North West depot. Didn't arrive on the day it was supposed to, and was told to phone next few days. Woman on the phone wouldn't go and look, kept talking over me so wouldn't understand what the issue was, and then hung up on me when I asked her to let me finish explaining. No wonder the Post Office is in trouble.

I was slightly dubious about visiting this post office after reading the google reviews below, not that I have much choice as we are in a pandemic and so have been battling with myself as to whether I should even be going that far. Anyway I just wanted to say that the staff that I encountered in the post office during my visit were incredibly helpful and it is a COVID safe space. The queue, even though looked long, moved quickly. If you were thinking of boycotting this post office for another due to the one-star reviews I would think again as they are a little harsh.

My experience was good. But I observed staff speaking loudly to the customers who were trying to enter and telling them off. The new customer wouldn’t know that they are to wait outside. Could be better managed in times of Covid. Still the service way better than any postal service available near here. Keep 2 meters apart. Enter when you see one or two people leaving. Wear mask.

Most of the counter staff here are always very rude / borderline aggressive. That seems to be the culture here with even new team members acting that way pretty soon after joining. The team here are clearly not suited to jobs that include any amount of customer service and clearly do not enjoy that aspect of their jobs. What could it possibly be about the vast majority of the residents of Chiswick that they could possibly dislike so much ?

I had a great experience. I would like to thank you in particular Mr RITESH PATEL (stationary counter) who helped me and advised me how to repack. He was so nice and helpful. To me that was an outstanding customer service. I would like to thank you as well Mrs PALLAVI PATE (delivery counter) who was very nice, helpful and patient. I was happy she send my parcels and to me she had an outstanding customer service. I had a great experience at Chiswick Post Office.

Absolutely awful. I tried to put the money from a postal order sent to me by my sister as a Christmas present. I was told, extremely aggressively, that I needed a receipt. I had not received a receipt and my sister said she wasn't given one when she made the postal order. The woman behind the desk showed no sympathy and gave me no help whatsoever. Her colleague then suggested I deposit it in the bank, which I tried, but my bank said that they had never heard of depositing postal orders at the bank, and everyone does it at a post office, without a receipt. The absolute worst post office I have ever been to, avoid if possible.

Worst experience ever! The Indian lady sitting behind the encounter was very much rude to me. Instead of speaking kindly, she was actually telling me off!!Very aggressive behaviour expressed by throwing the parcels I wanted to post to the sacs. She left her post because she didn't want to answer my questions and only returned back when I left! I asked an employee who is the manager to complain and he told me that she is the manager!! How awful! I noticed that she was rude to the people prior and after me!

Worst post office I’ve ever been to, with the worst manager of all time. Tried to cash a postal order and was told in an extremely aggressive manner that I needed a receipt. I went home and googled this info, as I had not been given a receipt and neither had the person who sent the order, and could not find any mention of this rule on the postal website or in legislature. I went back and told this to the same woman (the Indian lady at desk 6 who sits around doing nothing apparently being the manager) and she was even more aggressive and defensive. After this I had had enough, so went to the Vale post office in Acton, where they gave me cash for it, without a receipt or a fuss. I went back to Chiswick post office to inform this lady of her awful practice and bad customer service. She responded by accusing the Vale of committing fraud, and telling me that “I don’t know about that” to every question, if when the question was about the post office website. The worst part, was when I asked her if she would tell someone in the same scenario as me to go the the Vale, as they didn’t take receipts, to which she said “I don’t care about that, I don’t know about that.” This woman is a liar and the worst employee, let alone manager of any service establishment I have ever been to. Avoid and go to the Vale post office in Acton to save yourself from anger and the most defensive, rude, aggravating, and misinformed in regards to postal rules manager.

The old Indian lady employee on the BRP counter (the last -behind the glass- counter) is very rude and unprofessional!! She should be sacked for her behavior and lack of manners. After reading many comments about her, I came to realize that I was not the only one who she was disrespectful to. Even though the manager of the post office was behind her, he was apparently afraid from telling her to be polite. Again, She should be sacked and replaced as soon as possible!!

Used this post office 3 times during the last 4 months. Every time the staff has either provided a different service than what I requested or provided the worst option available without letting me know of the basic info of their suggestion. Good thing is that now I know that I should always pay online and just get the parcel to them with my service already selected.

What a horrible customer service. Omg! There was only me as a customer. Nobody needs to rush for something and no busy, everything was nice. I don’t know why, cashier number 6 (13.08.2020 around 08:15 - 08:30) was extremely rude. I know people in there usually rude but this time she was over the line! Such a shame!!! I am paying for service, not your horrible behaviour. You have a good job, you should be grateful for this. Someone should do something about this topic anymore. Disgusting! Let me explain just one example. I said “sorry, i cannot hear you” -she was wearing mask, she was behind the window and she wasn’t even talk properly- and she said to me “you can think” I have no time for argue with that kind of people, enough. This is not the first time.

Shocking service. The Indian lady tried to overcharge me by over £3 for sending 2 books to the USA. I had to show her the correct prices on the Post Office leaflet. She then accused me of putting the parcel on the scales incorrectly. She then insisted the weight on the scale read 1.536kg when it actually read 1.236. What a disgrace.

The personnel here go out of their way to frustrate customers. I wish Royal Mail would audit the customer-facing practices of the staff at this branch as they would undoubtedly have concerns. It would be cathartic to talk in detail about my experiences with this branch, but you need only to look at the appalling reviews from others to understand how the team here operate.

Having had some minor issues with Amazon return labels and having maintained an extremely polite and calm demeanour, I was told by an employee " I don't want you to come here again" adding I was "a headache". She was quick to backtrack but still some of the most vile staff there.

Really disappointed with the service that we got. Went there and waited for 30 minutes to get in (we don't really mind waiting). The problem is that when we got inside the lady on the door was sooo rude with us. We asked for a service THAT THEY OFFER ON THEIR WEBSITE. She said no, they don't do it. We checked on internet to show her the service they do advertise but suddenly she kicked us out of the building saying we could do it somewhere else but not there because they don't do it. We checked where she said but all of them said that they won't do it. We wasted our whole morning and she was incredibly rude with us... So disappointed on this service to be honest.

The staff are not helpful as they should be, and I am not sure if I am the only one who feels that attitude ( I hate my job) from them, very poor organisation according to the pandemic we have, they need to understand that we visit them once every blue moon so naturally we don’t know everything there, they should have some printed guidance if they really HATE to explain the steps to the customers.

It used to be a good Post Office years ago but since a change in personnel it has dropped badly. I can remember one time all the counters were staffed but that was only because the Post Office had sent down a "time and motion team ". Avoid if you can

I sent a parcel Wednesday, 15th July via 1st Class “Click & Drop.” This particular branch has you drop the package at the front counter and leave. You don’t need to speak to anyone, and they don’t give you a receipt. During these difficult times, this service is convenient and respectful in adhering to social distancing. The item still hasn’t arrived six days later. I have contacted Royal Mail, and they have stated that the package hasn’t been scanned, which means it hasn’t left Chiswick Post Office. This is the third time this has happened at this branch. Theft of mail is a serious crime, and I attend to pursue this legally. I refuse to be out of pocket yet again because parcels are going “missing.”

The lady came across irritable and bad tempered at my (rather reasonable) questions. Just because she knows exactly where to put parcels doesn't mean the rest of us do! The best post office EVER!! Yes it can get busy but that’s only because it open till late (till 7) and on Saturdays. The staff are always helpful and friendly even when they are getting a tough time. Writing this review at 3pm on Saturday during the Xmas/New Year break. In most towns a post office open that late would be unheard of!!

The post office is supposed to open at 9. Staff show up at 9:07 and just say "sorry, there was traffic". There was a line of around 20 people outside. They did not open the tills until 9:11.

So annoying. 31st December. People arriving at the entrance every few seconds trying to drop off parcels etc, Website says open until 7.30. Tatty sign on door (see photo) says closed at 12.30. I'm not sure the proprietors are rubbish on purpose, I just think they just have very low standards across the board. The sign says it all really.

First time online order pick up experience in the post office here. Tuesday 04Aug I received email to collect the order and I went there( W44JF )PM, queued up and actually showed the staff at the counter my pick up location is here but they told me it is the next door. I went to the next door(smaller room) on Thursday 7:30ish as these days it only open 2 hrs, the gentleman explained to me that I actually should pick up at the post office(W44JF drop off point) not the "pick up point"and the post code is different. So I went to the right place at the first time...I waited till 8am the other side open like the gentleman suggested ( P.s the notice on the post office door shows open from 9am but Google showed 8am... and this is also a bit confusing). I finally at the counter as the first one in the morning the lady threw me a card to fill up I went back to her and it took her 1 second told me it's the wrong number not the collection number but when I asked her what kind of number is she asking for as all I had in the email was an order number and PFD QR code. Could she help a little? She rushed me away and told me that's not her job and attitude was very rude(from the beginning). I explained to her it actually took me lots effort to pick up the parcel but she still refused to help. I went back to the next door and the gentleman helped me found out the number they need and helped me checked in the system that my parcel is indeed in there. Yes I'm not familiar with the service and the staff at the counter on 04Aug may made mistake and told me wrong information but what made me really disappointed was the attitude of the lady on 06Aug20 counter 6. The second time I went back there was a guy was left confused not sure where to left his parcel... Don't bring your "I hate my job" attitude to work and show some appreciation that you still have a job.

Awful experience! Went there to post a parcel with Special Delivery with maximum insurance. After 3 working days, no tracking history updated other than "accepted at post office". Went there to enquire about it, the lady (really rude) refuses to check tracking details/update or offer any help other than telling me to fill out a form for lost items. Something definitely shady going on there!!!!

Services are horrible. I'm being shouted at by the staff Mrs Prathay. She was extremely rude when I tried to post my parcel. And the post office didn't handle the parcel with care and it's broken. Avoid this post office if you don't want to be abused and want to ensure your parcel remains intact.

TERRIBLE service at this post office. Firstly looked at like they were doing me a favor doing their job. Then when my card was declined as i realised it expired today and i had no other cards on me. I said i would run back to the office and get my other card/cash if they could leave the parcels to one side and the girl looked at me with such disdain and started taking the labels off everything. I said it would take me half an hour. She didn't look at me. I then said, its an honest mistake. She then said 'you should have told me before' and i said 'What that my card was expired and i didn't know, that i only had one card on me when i had no idea it would happen' she just smirked and i said 'Let me have the parcels, i'll go somewhere i am not treated like a criminal'. The lady next to her just watched as this all happened. It was a truly honest mistake, and even if they didn't want to keep the parcels there, they didn't have to be so rude about it. Really upsetting and annoying. I'll not go in there again

Horrid place. 9 people in the queue, 1 serving. Another cashier came after 7 minutes and chatted to the other in their own language before calling a customer over. My turn and the 2 cashiers continued their conversation, in their own language. It is incredibly rude to chat to a colleague when you are serving. I hate going to this place. It is always the same.

They are just plain rude and Unhelpful. You don't lose anything by being nice and polite yet stand to gain so much if you are! After several incidents I will now brave the cold and walk an extra 15 minutes to a different post office rather than see any of these people again. Absolutely disgusting customer service.

Would rate 0 stars if possible. Tried to tax my car at a changed address. This was beyond the staff capabilities. The DVLA explained what they were doing wrong, and even offered to help the staff input the data. The manager of the Post Office refused the help, and said that I was supplying incorrect data. When I tried to explain again what they were doing wrong, she said I was banned from the Post Office. So I went to Hammersmith, where they were helpful and friendly in the Post Office, and had my car tax complete in minutes. In conclusion, don't use the Post Office in Chiswick. Particularly due to the incompetent and very rude manager.
