I know sometimes they seem like strict to their own rule but if I ask a favor, request for something or try to make conversation 1 to 1 , they help me a lot and kind. But I also agree with the other comments about long que in a peak time. Just it needs to be fixed :) Thanks

£1.99 for ONE A5 card board envelope, I know this is Chiswick, but come on, £2 for an envelope and £.1.89 for the next day signed for..... How can the postage be cheaper than a piece of cardboard.... Also bear in mind that it's a £10 charge for and £80 postal order, rip of Britain at its best... Counter staff was friendly enough.... 2 stars.... We are a local company tinting cars, find us online cartints NW10...

Service at this branch is consistently awful. Long waiting lines (often 30 mins or more no matter what time of day I happen to be there), slow service, extremely rude staff and to top it all THEY TRY TO OVERCHARGE EVERY SINGLE TIME. You have to stand your ground and ask for all the available options and even then they are reluctant to admit there are cheaper alternatives. There have also been occasions when I arrived at the branch just after 7.00 pm and found them locking the doors despite the advertised 7.30 pm closing time. When confronted they became rude and aggressive. Can anything be done to get a more professional service?

I was queuing for an item return - as usual there is mass amount of people with only 2 windows out of 6. After 20 minutes of queuing I was told that they can not print from my prepared QR code - which by the way they did for another return last week (!) I was sent to the local library to get my label printed. In the library only members can print - so I had to register. After registration it turned out I can only print from a computer but not from my phone, so I couldn’t print my label. All in all I had to walk back home (another 20 minutes) without managing to post my parcel... By the way on the website of Royal Mail this place is listed as ‘we print your labels from the QR code’. I wasted more than an hour of my day because there is apparently no printing facility in a post office! This place is ridiculous.

It'll be a miracle if you find anyone in Chiswick who has anything good to say about this post office. I also wonder why no one has ever opened a second post office in Chiswick. It would do amazingly well cause everyone hates this one. Its impressive they've managed to find so many rude staff. The insainly long queue times and I've been over charged before. This time I'm panicking if my parcel will make it to its destination. It's been 3 days and the tracking code still says invalid

Extremely rude old lady by the counter at the back behind the window. It's been the third time I was serviced by her and she is very impolite and unprofessional. I am not the only one, in the queue there were people who said that they had bad experience with her as well. I am surprised that she works at a place where you have to communicate with people non-stop. Seems like she must be a relative to someone, otherwise there is no way with an attitude like that you would be able yo keep a job like that.

Not sure what all these 1 stars are about? Yes its a very lacklustre experience and the staff are disinterested (can you really blame them?) but I wouldn't say they were rude or insulting. Maybe I went on a good day (it wasn't too busy either to be fair) or maybe people expect too much and are easily upset? Assuming my parcel actually gets where it's supposed to go then I'm happy with the barely adequate service I've come to expect from any post office these days. I don't think any post office in the country would warrant more than a 2-3 star review.

Not friendly, lazy, close the door and shut down their systems before it’s meant to close so they can be out of the building as early as possible, worse post office I’ve walked into. I hear it’s closing down, not surprised... go somewhere else if you can

Overcharge for postage whenever possible. Putting parcels through as Small Parcels instead of large letters. Had a bulk to send so didn't notice until checked receipt much later. BEWARE!!! Never use this branch again. Staff rude as well

Before i went there i saw google rating to be very bad but i had no choice. When i went there really I found the opposite, the two guys on counter 1 & 2 really very nice and helpful. The problem with google rating only people who had bad experience write a review. I found it a unfair if I didn’t leave a feedback of what they deserve. Thanks for your help guys.

I can understand all the one star reviews, I've seen many little altercations between staff and customers. The queues upset people and I've seen some behavior that would make a customer service trainer wince . That said though, I do feel the staff treated me with respect and were helpful in my years of consigning parcels there. That said, one thing I would definitely change is how they take expensive parcels. I used to send some expensive packages. Occasionally I'd insure a package for over a thousand pounds. After being consigned, they'd ask me to leave it in front of the service desk, next to the Haribo's and lucozade; that seems a tad dangerous when everyone in the queue behind me just heard me say that I need high insurance cover.

Some staff pretend the large letter won't go through so that they can charge you the extra for a small parcel. I take the items to another post office in Hammersmith and the item goes through the large letter slot fine. Beware.

Absolutely rude staff member at the collections counter 6 and travel money counter (in the convenient store). Terrible attitude and should not be working in a customer services environment. Discriminatory behaviour which should not be tolerated.

Doesn't stick stamps on properly so that the item arrives at the other end with the stamp missing and your recipient has to pay the premium and you have to reimburse them. I handed in 3 complaint letters about this over a 6 month period and not one of them has been acknowledged let alone answered. This says it all.

I noticed am not the only complaining about this place either from the comments here. I am an ethnic looking woman and at the time he did treat his white customers better than me.

had to wait a long time. woman who served me was very rude and accused me of lying about a mistake a member of staff had made when posting a parcel earlier in the week and. refused to apologise for mistake. All staff members seem to be making up their own rules, for the same parcel was told I was told it wasnt possible to post it due to size, it was possible and would cost £40 and then after further arguing was told it could be posted for £13. Will take the bus to any other post office in the future

Probably the rudest lot disorganised post office or shop I’ve ever been in. So unhelpful it’s untrue. Tried to post a simple bag less than 2kg and they said I had to pay £40. When I asked why they said that was just the price. Ended up going to Hammersmith post office paying £13. Definitely some stealing going on at this office.

Very rude counter staff....all I wanted to do was send a letter abroad, they did not even look at me or talk to me. I couldn't get their attention or a polite answer out of the desk clerk. NEVER GOING BACK! First and last time, don't need the agro form a very rude man at counter!!!

Incredibly rude staff! Went to the post office this morning to collect a BRP card for myself and my partner. Lady at the counter was rude, unfriendly and kept referring to my partner as a he! After correcting her the first time she continued to call my partner a he! After correcting her the 3rd time she then referred to my partner as “he, she or whatever” this is discrimation and unacceptable! The postal service shows they are supporting of the LGBT community and have changed their logo to support this however is clearly not the truth!

There are some rude and quite frustrated staff there (some others - a minority- are actually lovely) . Some have no respect for customers at all. Went a few times depending on who is serving you, it may be quite an unpleasant experience

Be ready for at least a 20 min wait regardless of the time of day. I’ve seen the staff throw around parcels with large red FRAGILE signs on them as well as dropping parcels. There’s always several members of staff just milling around while the queue is out the door and only 1-2 counters are open. I avoid this Post Office at all costs. By far the worst service I’ve evever received in London

awful service, international parcel was sent back to me by customs because they forgot to attach CN22 form on my parcel in this post office !!! Still didnt get my refund as they have been waiting for big boss from India to return to access CCTV to check who served me that day when mistake was made, as if its my problem!!!! Issue refunds - then sort your staff!Why am i suppose to wait for your big boss to get £7.20 back????
