Pure Cremation were fantastic. My mother died in Ireland and we were not allowed to fly over from England due to the pandemic.
They sorted everything with one phone call the man I spoke to John in Glasgow was brilliant.
Also my mother didn’t want a funeral so having the cremation only meant she had her wish.
Her ashes were hand delivered to my home in England by the lovely Ricky.

An excellent service from Pure Cremation in respect of my late brothers passing. My brother had requested that he didn't want any fuss whatsoever, and to quote from his letter to me after our talks "no formal traditional ceremony, no trimmings, no extras please". "my bodily cremation and its ashes to be sprinkled on top of a mountain near you Murray, thanks" . We Sprinkled his ashes yesterday, and as we live in Wales he had a send off from one of our local mountains. We highly recommend the service from Pure Cremations, the way they handled everything from the start to the delivery if the ashes, in a lovely biodegradable box with a forest scene , beautiful. Everyone we dealt with were courteous, kind and sympathetic. Thank you so much. I have attached a picture of where we sprinkled his ashes yesterday.

For years and years before my husband died, he would tell me and our children to put him in a bin bag and dig a hole in the garden. He definitely wanted NO fuss, no church services as he had no faith and he did not want his children and me to walk behind a coffin. We discussed this last year and looked round at various options and sent for brochures/information etc. As soon as we read through Pure Cremations we decided they were the people we would use. I contacted them by phone and from the first conversation I knew we had made the right choice. I explained what he wanted and they were very mindful of our needs. After a bit more discussion on our part we signed up for my husband to use their services.
I cannot tell you how good they have been. My husband passed away last month. They did everything exactly how we had wanted it and it was all done with the utmost care for him and for my feelings.
His ashes were returned to me last week. I had a lovely phone call from Lauren who told me what would happen and gave me a suggested date and time for them to be delivered.
From first contact to last contact, everyone has been so easy to deal with. Their services are second to none.
I would a hundred percent recommend Pure Cremations to everyone. I would say to you - ask for a brochure and then talk to one of their staff - you will not be disappointed .
I have now signed up for Pure Cremations to look after me in the kind and sympathetic way they have dealt with my late husband.

We have just used yourservices for the cremation of our mother.About a year ago Mam informed us that she had set up a plan with yourselves and I must admit feeling a number of reservations. By the time Mam told us the plan was already in place and she insisted that these were her wishes. In early April Mam was taken very ill very quickly and had only been in hospital a few hours when she passed away .Fortunately my sister , wife and myself managed to say our goodbyes.Then came the horrible part, sorting all the things out that are not easy considering the state of our minds. I made contact with yourselves and was welcomed by a very sympathetic and efficient young lady .She listened to all my questions and answered them professionally and thoroughly.All duties were taken from me and you dealt directly with the hospital, it was a real help.We were kept informed regularly how things were progressing and we received a date for her cremation.Last Friday I received a phone call from a gentleman who said “ we would like to return Mam home to you” lovely words very well said, I have dealt with 3 different people during this process and I must say everyone of them has been simply fantastic. I think the service you are providing is excellent please pass my thanks on to all of your team from myself and my family.

I cannot speak highly enough of PureCremation. Rebecca Souroush who handled my wifes Lorraines passing from start to finish could not have been more helpfull in sorting out some ridiculous situations with our doctors regrding lack of paperwork etc. She went the extra mile to make sure that Lorraine's cremation went as smooth as possible. I picked up Lorraine's ashes and could not have been more impressed with the set up and the professionalism of the people. Would highly recommend, I will certainly be using them when I pass. The cost saving is amazing for such a service. You never see a poor local undetaker thats for sure!!

If you don't want to waste money on a expensive coffin, service, cars etc, this is a great service which will allow you to say goodbye in your own way after the cremation easily paid for with the money you save, I am having 2 farewell does one where I live now and another 200 miles away for friends who can't make it here and that's more than covered by quotes from local undertakers. The people are nice to talk to and very helpful, the man who brings the ashes to you is very good, my one small criticism is that while I received a email to say they had Denise at the Chapel of rest, it would have been nice to get one on the day of the cremation to say it had gone ahead OK, but besides that I was very satisfied with Pure Cremations

Pure Cremation took care of my Mum after her death in February. The staff were helpful and professional, guiding me through the process. We had a small family funeral in their beautiful chapel, which was absolutely perfect. Her ashes were delivered as promised 3 weeks later. I can't fault the service that was provided and would have no hesitation in recommending Pure Cremation. I have already put a brochure aside so my children know what to do when the time comes.

I had heard of Pure Cremation through a friend and was considering this for myself. When my mum sadly passed away a month ago my daughter and I discussed this at length.
We wanted to have a private day with our photos, memories and candles instead of going to a local crematorium . It just seemed more personal to us.
Pure Cremation were very helpful and caring.
Mums ashes were returned to us promptly and when possible we can as a family take some to her birth place Scotland and put with her parents. Thank you to the staff for everything.

5 stars doesn't feel like enough for this review. From calling Pure Cremation to advise that my grandma had passed away to receiving her hand delivered ashes a few weeks later, I was spoken to sensitively and compassionately, kept up to date with the whole process and entirely confident that grandma's wishes were carried out sensitively and professionally.
My family and I are extremely grateful to all the staff at Pure Cremation and we cannot recommend this service highly enough to others who may be considering options for a loved one.

I cannot express enough how wonderful this company are. My husband passed away in January this year with Covid and without being able to have more people present we decided to book Pure Cremation. Every single thing was dealt with efficiently and beautifully. The music we chose sounded wonderful and it was truly personal and lovely. A member of staff was there at all times making sure everything was perfect but they were silent and in the background.
The ashes were delivered today and my daughter was understandably upset; I was in work. The person who delivered the ashes was wonderful and offered to sit in the garden, 2metres away to ensure he could comfort her.
What a wonderful company and a lovely, personal send off to my beautiful husband.

We didn’t have to do anything, they did it all. And the gentleman who delivered the ashes (I think his name was Steve but not sure) was the nicest person. So genuine and caring. Pure Cremation were the perfect choice for us during these stressful times. My mother had a very large family and the trauma of choosing who could attend a very impersonal crematorium funeral with minimum family was heart wrenching.
Pure Cremation made it possible for us to deal with the mandatory details, without having to add to our distress, it allowed us to arrange a personal and more fitting celebration of her life , at a later date where all her family can participate.
In addition the cost was a fraction of a traditional funeral. The team were friendly and efficient and we our very grateful they offered an alternative.

We chose Pure Cremation as we knew we wouldn't be able to attend due to the Covid situation and the fact that we live abroad. Every thing was arranged on the phone in a very short time, procedures explained simply and compassionately. It made the whole situation much less stressful. We opted for an assisted cremation so that a few relatives could attend which was arranged at our convenience. All went well. My father's ashes were delivered to my son exactly as promised. I recommend Pure Cremation without hesitation and thank everyone there for making a difficult time a bit easier.

It's never an easy task organising funerals after the loss of a loved one; but due to my Mum's great age, and the fact that there weren't really any living friends around any more, plus the fact that travel was restricted which eliminated the few family members scattered across England......Pure Cremation and a non-service cremation became a viable option. The massive differential financially between the usual cremation service & a direct cremation was astounding. The customer service was exceptional, and any questions were always answered in full by knowledgeable and friendly staff. I was kept fully informed throughout the process, but the most personal touch was when my Mother's ashes were delivered to my door by pre-arrangement for my convenience. I really can't recommend this company enough. I have decided to use their services when my time comes too as it just makes perfect sense.

My Dad died this past January from Covid19 being one of the many succumbing to the virus and his wishes were to have his ashes put with Mums. Living two hours away from him I needed to feel confident in my decision that he would be taken care of with dignity and respect that his 88 years of life should be afforded to him.
Pure Cremation made sure Dad got that... very professional and courteous the company gives excellent value and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I sent for a brochure not expecting to have to use the service for many years. Unfortunately my husband died just before Christmas. I contacted Pure Cremation and they took over everything. I asked for items to be returned to me and they were absolutely fastidious. Nothing went wrong. My husband's ashes and his belongings have been returned to me in such a genteel manner. I only knew of Pure Cremation from the TV ad. When my dad died from covid I couldn't bare the thought of a funeral where no one could comfort each other, I would have to sit away from my son and other relatives, who would have had to travel over 70 miles, then all go home. It would have so much sadder than it already was.
From the first phone call to receiving my dads ashes the whole process has been handled with care. I have been informed at each stage. On the day of the cremation I had lots of messages and flowers from people saying they were thinking of dad, and it was a better day than I had expected.
When I told people what I was doing many were surprised but they could see the reason and thought it was a good idea.
I would recommend Pure Cremation to anyone. Thank you for the professional and caring service.

I cannot praise Pure Cremations enough !!!
They made everything as easy as possible in a a horrible situation.
My husband died at home and after a phone call they came to pick his body up within a few hours considering they are more than 2 hours away from where I live.
They were kind and considerate and explained everything when they arrived.
They kept me informed all along the process and considering how busy 5hey are in present times I always felt they were there for me.
They called as they said they would a day before they personally brought my husbands ashes back and again explained the process, the vehicle they would be in and what to expect.
The next day they called me 30 minutes before they arrived and it was a very emotional moment when I opened the front door.
The man stayed with me until I was more composed which was very kind of him.
My husband was wearing a plastic medical wrist band which they brought back with his ashes in a little jewellery bag which i thought was very thoughtful.
That sums they up really, thoughtful, caring and extremely considerate of both my husband's body and my welfare.

We thought the experience might be very basic, but we were allowed to put flowers on the beautiful coffin and take them home with us. The staff actually gave us a bit longer than the half hour and we played our music, said our Eulogy, chatted amongst ourselves with total privacy and because we were meeting from across the country, we continued to chat outside the premises. They were very kind and understanding over the telephone and very professional. They picked the body up on the day my brother died and transported him from East Sussex to Andover that night. All very reasonable too. Cannot speak highly enough of them. They delivered the ashes to my sister in Gloucestershire so she could hold her own internment service by my parent's grave. We were delighted with how smoothly this all went.

I am so pleased we chose pure cremation when my father passed away last month. I couldn’t bare the thought of going through a funeral and seeing the coffin and following all the hypocrisy of a traditional funeral. Dad wasn’t religious, he had seen the advert on tv a while back and commented at the time that he couldn’t understand why we had to pay all that we had paid when my mum died and we had her funeral. At the time I replied that I didn’t know why funerals were so expensive. When dad died unexpectedly I rang pure cremation and they were so nice, not gushing and falling over themselves with the sorry for your loss message, which I didn’t need at that moment in time. Just so respectful but at the same time treating my dad like a person not just a piece in the process dying. They arranged to collect my dad a few hours later. Again when they arrived, two smart gentleman wearing black shirts and trousers came and said we have come for Ernie. Again just the simple thing of calling dad by his name kept him a person and not an object. There was no fuss and no false sorry for your loss conversation. Which was just what I needed at the time from complete strangers who didn’t even know my dad.
We were kept informed of when dad would be cremated and the arrangements were made to return dads ashes to us. Even that was lovely, he was hand delivered by a lovely gentleman and treated with such respect.
The whole process of the pure cremation was a blessing following the death of my dad.
We are going to celebrate dads life in June which would have been his birthday, we are going to bury his ashes with my mums in the garden and have a few family members over and just enjoy reminiscing without the awful process of a funeral. I think dad would have liked it this way.
I’ve already told the kids that this is what I want when I die. The whole process seems a lot kinder and easier to get through than the traditional dreaded funeral. This way we can celebrate dads life how we want to without any bad memories of coffins and funerals.

This was a service we looked into prior to my mum passing, she wanted a “no fuss” funeral as she wasn’t religious in life and was a “no fuss” kind of lady in life.
The service Pure Cremation provides was excellent and even though they are based in Andover and we in Manchester, no journey was too long or any hassle to them and they collected mum promptly and respectfully. It took 3 weeks from collection to having her ashes back and there was no hiccups along the way. It’s a really good service that I know my mum would of appreciated.
My only feed back would be that I feel a courtesy call to say they have arrived back with the body ok and a call the day after cremation to let you know as a family it all went ok would be appreciated as I felt I was sat in limbo until they called me to arrange a date to deliver her ashes.
Otherwise it is a service I would highly recommend to others

Was very unsure about this service but it was my parents wishes to set this up, which was very easy to do and over the phone. My father passed away recently and had to call, they were very kind and thoughtful throughout the whole process but something will stick with me forever and it was the kind and caring way a member of staff Michaela spoke to me about Dad being collected, her words were " we have collected your Father and when he arrives and we have settle him in and he is comfortable i will call you to let you know"
She will never know how much them few caring words meant at a time when my heart was breaking. Thank you Michaela.

I recently lost my mum - over recent years we had both discussed our wishes and having a direct cremation appealed to both of us as we both disliked traditional formal funerals and liked the idea of doing things in a different way.
When mum passed suddenly I was a little hesitant as I wanted the best for my mum who of course I loved dearly but I could hear her voice in my head reminding me of her wishes and our conversations.
I looked on line at firms available who offer this service and read pure cremations description of the service they offer and the pictures of charlton park and of the couple who own this company - it felt right and the details of how everything worked and the services were very clear and easy to understand and I was really drawn to them.
I did of course look at all the others but none sounded as personal as pure cremation so I braved myself to ring.
I spoke to a lady called Beatrice - she was so kind and patient with me and so understanding of my grief and talked me through everything with so much empathy and kindness - by the end of the conversation I knew I had made the right choice and felt confident to proceed.
Pure cremation handled everything for me and each time I phoned I experienced the same kindness and understanding from each member of the team and nothing seemed to much trouble.
I wanted mums ashes returned to me in 2 caskets as I have special plans in 2 parts of the country that I know my mum would be so pleased about.
Her ashes were hand delivered by them this week — this was done with the greatest respect and the gentleman that did this was wonderful.
I would highly recommend them to anyone considering this type of service and I would confidently use them again without any hesitation.
Thank you to everyone who helped me through this especially Beatrice who guided me so kindly and professionally - mum would be very impressed I’m sure and I certainly feel I have done her proud.

As my mum wanted a no fuss cremation, Pure Cremation did the job beautifully.
No fuss, no stress, just clear information as to what was to happen after she died.
Payment was easy with my credit card.
They kept me up to date stage by stage.
When she was cremated we, as a family, lit candles and played her favourite music. All in the privacy of our own homes.
Mum's ashes were delivered to my home in a very respectful manner. Time keeping was perfect.
When we are allowed to, re the virus, her family will get together and scatter her ashes in the sea and a poem will be read.
I highly recommend Pure Cremations and would like to go the same way when it is my turn to go.

I cannot Thank You enough for what you did for my dad. As an only child I wanted to give my dad the biggest send off but couldn’t due to covid restrictions.
My dad had said he wanted a Pure Cremation funeral but I never agreed. But I decided it would be the best option due to the situation.
It broke my heart losing him but you did everything I could ever have wished for and we’re always at the end of the phone for me to discuss my worries.

Everything was taken care of in a professional and courteous manner. Any questions I had were answered. We were Informed when the cremation was taking place so we could make arrangements to do something in our own way. The team and personal way we were treated were caring throughout. The team that took dad onwards lowering their heads in respect towards my father at midnight, before they left our property spoke volumes. They helped and supported us as a family to do it our way, and to follow the written requests from my father, as he had wished. Being able to watch the service live from our lounge and give support to each other in our private space,was also great.
