I feel that in this case I have to say that that throughout the whole experience I have had, I have been more than satisfied. My wife who had cancer for 5 and a half years chose Pure Cremations as her preferred method after her death. She passed away sooner than expected and we did not have time to research them but followed her wishes. From start to finish, collecting her from our home and returning her ashes in a lovely presented package was done in a most wonderful professional manner. Far better than the experiences I have had with high street undertakers.

Myself and my family found the process of arranging my mum's funeral with pure cremations was straight forward no issues at all in terms of our personal circumstances of my mother's passing away in hospital.
They were very nice too deal with kind and I felt they would look after mum.
It's not for everyone having this arrangement direct cremation but that's what my mother wanted. In fact she had a letter dated the 10th October 20 from pure cremations and she died on the 13th October 20 and I hadn't seen this letter and through research online and YouTube pure cremations were the company to go with.
Just so you know this was our personal circumstances that was good for mum and the family.
Also the cost not paying stupid money it was £1195 which is a very good price.
Pure cremations delivered mum's ashes in a lovely biodegradable box with a unique number to her. The guy that delivered mum was a lovely guy and he put a mat on the ground and placed the box with mum's ashes on the mat too make sure the box didn't get dirty. A very kind touch I thought.
A very professional service and I would highly recommend them if you are thinking of direct cremation.

We had originally contacted Pure Cremations for information when my mother in law was put on end of life. Never did we think that two months later we would be contacting them to organise the cremation of my husband who was sadly struck down with COVID. We are not a religious family so had already discussed the type of cremation we wanted. With lockdown as well, all our family are back in Wales and we are located in Bedfordshire, so it would be difficult to get our large families together for a service. My husband had said he would much rather have a party to celebrate his life and then have his ashes scattered back in Wales.
From the first phone call with a lovely gentleman called Peter, we cannot fault the service we received. We were kept informed every step of the way, both by phone and email. Despite the current climate we are in and the pressure funeral services are under, my husband was so looked after by them.
I was so impressed with the service, I have now taken out a funeral plan for myself, so that my daughter has no worry when my time comes.

Pure Cremation provided excellent service almost entirely by email and telephone. They were efficient and compassionate from the beginning through to the end. It was a big relief for me as no members of the family would have been able to attend a funeral due to the travel restrictions in force at the time, and my mother's friends and neighbours are all elderly and it would have been unfair to invite them to a funeral and put them at risk. Also we used to pass by the Crematorium at Charlton regularly while it was being built and were grateful to find that it was now operational. Having mum's ashes scattered in the Garden of Remembrance there was the next best thing to having them scattered in the garden at her home.

Very nice and helpful people at Pure Cremations, despite it being an unattended cremation we still felt it was very personal and made our own day of it. We were kept informed of Dad's collection from the hospital and again when he had arrived safely at Andover with Pure Cremations. We went for a walk at the Monastery on the day of cremation and had some family and friends round in the evening to reminisce and celebrate his life.

First contacted Pure Cremation as soon as my Mother in Law passed away. It was effortless to arrange a direct cremation and the collection of her body from her nursing home. Throughout the whole process I found every contact with the Pure Cremation team to be efficient and respectful. Despite it taking 10 days to register the death, the cremation was already scheduled and took place as planned 7 days after registration.

Pure Cremation were a revelation. My mother had wanted a simple cremation so I chose Pure Cremation with the idea it would be basic and no frills. On the contrary, from the collection of my mother, through the whole booking process to the actual ‘ceremony’ everything was handled with sensitivity and style. The facilities in Andover are superb, the staff dedicated and kind - I had Ashley as my point of contact throughout, no chopping and changing and always available to answer any questions - the organisation was completely trouble free and the eco-coffin was charming. We had lovely music controlled by ourselves and were not rushed at all. The service continues afterwards with Book of Remembrance and a Christmas service. My mum’s ashes, in an attractive bio-degradable urn were delivered to my door by another charming member of the Pure Cremation staff, with all the paperwork needed for future disposition of the remains. Pure Cremation is not only wonderful value for money but I am sure that no better service could have been provided by any more traditional funeral director.

Happily I found Pure Cremations online and they took care of everything for me. I found their staff very professional and caring and their service both affordable and efficient. I found Pure Cremation very professional in all aspects of my communications with the company, at a time when the grief I was feeling was at it's height. They were very patient and understanding, and the process was very quick and simple to arrange. My partner had no religious beliefs, and all of his family and relatives live over on Isle of Wight. The cost was a lot less dearer than a normal cremation, as money at that time was a problem. I recommend pure cremations

I'm just so delighted with the service from Pure Cremation. They showed nothing but compassion, sympathy and kindness to me from the start until the end. My late dad had mentioned Pure Cremation and, given the Covid, situation and the fact we found he'd already started completing the paperwork just prior to his death, we decided to go ahead. We could not have made a better decision. From the first phone call until the delivery of his ashes I was kept aware every step of the way. I was given advice on how to proceed, I was listened to - VERY sympathetically I might add - when I was telling the young man some of our difficulties and I was given nothing but kind patience whenever I got flustered or panicky.
We were told when his body was collected from the mortuary, we were told in advance when his cremation would be, then had a phone call the day after to confirm it had gone ahead. Then I got a phone call well within the alloted time to arrange for the delivery of his ashes. The gentleman, dressed VERY respectfully, who was also very friendly, helpful, kind and sympathetic, delivered them on the day promised at the time arranged. He informed us the pot is biodegradable or recyclable - which is wonderful for Greenies like my late dad. He even had an amazing idea of how to both deal with both my parents ashes and yet keep the close wherever we are....just an amazingly kind and thoughtful gentleman (and he WAS a TRUE gentleman).
To me and mine what should've been THE most stressful part of my late dad's death, was the LEAST stressful. I cannot thank Pure Cremation enough, I will never be able to repay their kindness, thoughtfulness and compassion. Needless to say me and my husband are signing up with Pure Cremation and my 97 year old mother in law is equally keen to use their service when it's her time. We all feel its the most stress free to deal with what would otherwise be a truly daunting matter. The cost is also a FRACTION of what usual funerals cost, so its also cost effective for family members - our holiday savings covered my father's costs.
Pure Cremation is, and SHOULD be, the way of the future for all funerals. Sorry this was so long - but I could write pages more to be fair; they really are that wonderful.

I cannot over praise,this company. From our initial contact and throughout. Pure cremation LTD were kind , caring , sympathetic and thoroughly professional. We were kept informed,every step,of the way. Our aunt died , suddenly, and as we live several hundreds of miles away, were unable to make local arrangements. Our aunt was treated with great care and respect . This firm took care of all aspects, collecting her from the hospital, where she passed away, also all necessary documents and fees . Following her committal our aunts ashes were delivered,by hand, to our home. We are now able to say our goodbyes . She will be intered , alongside , her twin sister. My wifes mother, who passed ,many years before. Our gratitude and thanks to all, for the wonderful service each of you gave,to us. My brother died age 60 in early october in chester hospital suddenly from bowel cancer, he had cut himself off from his family and we had seen him for some time. so we we left with a unforseen event i approached my local funeral director who advise me to use PURE CREMATIONS which i did as fiance and distance was a limiting factor, as we are not a religious family I chose the easiest option which PURE CREMATIONS provided they did everything did not have to worry about it The communication was good it was not expensive, even delivered his ashes.
I can truthfully say out of all 7 funerals i'v done this was the easiest and the best I can recommend PURE CREMATIONS

Pure Cremation came to my rescue when my mother suddenly passed away on a Sunday morning. I was in shock and had never had to arrange a funeral in my life. Pure Cremation was so professional and calm. They arranged to pick Mam up that day and gave me time to sort out the payment. Which was so reasonable compared to some others that had quoted me. They also kept me informed every step of the way. I would definitely recommend them.

My Dad always knew he wanted a simple cremation, and chose Pure Cremation as his funeral director. Of course arranging a loved ones funeral is never going to be easy, but when my Dad died suddenly in Feb 2020 I quickly got in touch with Pure Cremation who I honestly couldn't fault from start to finish. The team keep you updated throughout the whole process, including when they take your loved one into their care. They give you a cremation date and the ashes are returned to you within 21 days. I received my Dad's ashes last week, and the driver was curteous and kind. 5* service throughout, and I will be using this service again, recommended to friends too.
