My mum choose pure cremation because she did not want a fuss nor the stress of a funeral. I found them easy to talk. It was straightforward to arrange. When my mum passed away we rang the number on the card we were given and they took her to the crematorium it was all done with the upmost respect for both my mum and the family members that were there. The man who came was wonderful and we felt that mum was in good hands. We were told when the cremation would be taking place and they kept in touch with us all the way through. When the time came to bring back my mums ashes again we were informed every step of the way. The man that bought mum back was lovely he gave me some ideas as to what to do with the ashes and because of Covid he had to leave the ashes on the doorstep and he kindley place a cotton bag underneath the ashes to keep them clean. I am very happy to recommend them and when mine and my husbands time comes this is what we will opt for.

My husband requested a cremation only send off, he did not want a funeral. I searched and Pure Cremations stood out. The others were emphasising on the cheapness Of this option. I found this insulting as it wasn’t about the money.
Pure Cremations emphasised the professionalism and care.
The process was easy, I spoke to human beings rather than just through websites. They kept me informed all along the way. The service they gave was exactly as they outlined.

We didn't want an old fashioned gothic funeral with hearses, a service and the unnecessary cost of using a third party to arrange something that society over the last 100 years have made us feel that we have to go along with.
Instead, I carefully researched a direct cremation service that I knew I could trust to look after my Dad and provide a respectful cremation and the return of his ashes.
Pure Cremation gave me the confidence through their professional approach right from the start and were fantastic in helping with questions and taking the pain out of what is a difficult situation. Communication was excellent and so was their service with my father's ashes returned by hand in a sustainable and well presented box with a stone inscribed with a number that is used during the cremation process to ensure the right person is returned and no mistakes can me made.
Pure Cremation enabled us to give my Dad a funeral we wanted with minimum fuss, which kept costs down (£1195), so we could spend more money on a party with close friends and family to celebrate his colourful life. This is the way forward to bring the funeral industry into the 21st century.

Stress at a time when you least need it. Fortunately for me, the inadequacies of this 'service' became apparent before any monies were parted with. The company claims that fee's charged cover all necessary paperwork, they do not. You are put in the position of having to make unnecessary calls to sort the very things that they claim to be taking care of on your behalf. You are then met with what I can only describe as the 'cold money making' end of the sausage machine. Finally, when you do attempt a money transfer to their chosen bank, your bank warns that the recipient bank is unable/unwilling to confirm the given account details are correct. This for me was the straw that broke the camels back. Save yourself a whole lot of stress, go elsewhere. ~Judge for yourself. The argumentative, nonsensical response does nothing more than strengthen my original comment. Of course I have spoken with and written to this company, of course I had to chase paperwork that I was paying them to collate and no my bank does not declare a warning statement when transferring between internal accounts, or indeed between many external accounts, I transfer monies frequently, I am in no need of patronising. The condescending tone that I had the misfortune to come across in my previous dealings with this company, clearly start at the top. Does the response from the owner, show an iota of genuine concern for my negative experience or any attempt to correct or apologise for their inadequacies? You decide, hence my opening line "stress at a time when you least need it".

I was very impressed by the flexibility in delivery dates and times for the delivery of my neighbour's ashes. They were delivered on the dot of the time agreed with courtesy and kindness. The ashes were in an attractive stout cardboard box decorated with photos of woodland and the whole in a soft cloth bag. I would recommend this service.

During lockdown, having an unattended cremation for my husband was ideal. It gives me the opportunity to celebrate his life together with friends and family in the (normal??) future. PureCremation were excellent, efficient but caring and the person returning the ashes to me was very kind and supportive.

AWFUL company - not covered in the UK by funeral standards boards/associations. BUYER BE WARE. The director was on duty the day we needed them didn't know what they were doing oversaw many errors which led to a series of events that caused undue stress and upset. When they admitted they got it wrong, launched a corporate PR response. Lots of fake platitudes, etc but nothing to try and resolve the problem. Cold, unfeeling, unconcerned by the impact of what they did to our family and the only offer of trying to resolve our dispute was for me to pay ££££s to employ a private arbitrator to try and resolve it. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS - there are other providers in the market place that are affiliated to standards agencies. Make sure you do your research. Check the NFAD.co.uk site for members before parting with your money - we learnt the hard way and the unnecessary trauma caused by this company and one of its Directors, but more importantly how they handled the situation has left me with night terrors and guilt that I chose so badly for Dad and I cannot get any rest. I hope that he can forgive me for his final days before cremation. I cannot shrug the guilt that I chose badly, and let him down when he needed my care the most.

Courteous and understanding service from everyone I spoke to from initial call through to the gent who returned the ashes. I asked to be texted at major points through the process and was advised of the collection and date arranged for cremation, but after that it went a bit quiet with no confirmation on the day and then a delay in being notified of the return of the ashes. Could well have been that it was over the Christmas period. The fee paid was as agreed at the outset.

Sensitive, caring and efficient. More than met our expectations. An invaluable alternative to the traditional approach to cremation. My uncle died, leaving me and my sister his only close relatives, and with the help of Pure Cremation we will be returning Allan to his much missed home town in early January. He had spent more than a decade being shuffled between increasingly distant care homes. A small graveside ceremony with a minister has been arranged, after which he will be interred alongside the father he was devoted to. The small memorial stone will say ‘Home at Last’.

Well what can I say? From start to finish Pure Creation were not only professional but extremely friendly, well mannered, sympathetic to our grief, on top of all the paperwork etc (thank goodness) and in regular contact. My husband and I didn’t have to do anything apart from answer the phone which was extremely helpful to us during our grieving. Even the delivery of the ashes was professional and sympathetic, exactly what we needed. Would I recommend Pure Creation? ABSOLUTELY without a shadow of a doubt. You do what it says on the tin , one item I wasnt told about was that you keep the ashes for 30 days before scattering in your garden and so this plus a couple of other mis-comunications or non communications cost u a star.

The pure cremation team took the pressures from the start( not knowing what to do, how to start, what happens next, how to fill paperwork side of thing) and really helped me and my family through the process/stages. I believe my dad would have loved the fact that he was being cremated in a eco box and then hand delivered to my door in a biodegradable urn( dad was very into saving the planet, animals and sustainably). We chose an unattended cremation for dad for two reasons , 1. We wouldn't been able to fit a large crowd in a service and 2. A funeral service just wasn't my dad's thing, he liked a party. So we chose this and then to have a celebration of life party for him instead with his ashes in attendance. Prue cremation made this affordable, so we are able to do it the right way for dad. Thank you very much to the team and for taking care of dad and us.

My mother passed away in late August and was torn between a conventional funeral or something different. This is where Pure Cremations came in. They asked a few questions pay the fee and they do the rest. So simple and yet so caring. Freequently updated by very polite staff. I wanted to pick up the ashes so went to Andover and found the crematorium was in such a beautiful setting. I would not hesitate to recommend Pure Cremations just an excellent service.

Pure Cremations were very helpful in dealing with my late Mother. Every step was treated with dignity and respect from the moment we first called them until my Mother was delivered safely to our door. Our family is scattered throughout the UK and time constraints would not have allowed them all to attend a funeral service. We wanted to ensure that everyone could attend a Memorial Service at a later date so the option Pure Cremations offered was exactly what we wanted. I also do have to mention that it was a fraction of the cost that would have been involved in holding a funeral service with very few people in attendance. I highly recommend their service.

this is the one of the best ways to say goodbye to your loved ones, its all about the people left and what and how they want to grieve, much better than paying out thousands of pounds and still having the same result, i couldn't fault the staff at pure cremation , they treated us with compassion empathy right down to even returning the ashes, the gentleman that delivered them had all the time in the world to chat , i would differently recommend this to all my friends and family i now know that this is what id want for me.

I have used Pure Cremation twice in the past two years for both my Mother and Father. They were an obvious choice. We didn't want or need the services of a traditional undertaker. We didn't have any particular religious beliefs and were very open to doing things differently. Why should we conform to doing things 'the traditional way' when as a family we're far from traditional. We're super practical and we wanted very simple but thoughtful and respectful arrangements.
My Dad always said... "I have worked hard all my life, I have been a good Husband, Father and friend to many. When it is my time to go then I want my passing to be as straightforward and simple as possible. No fuss please. Why go the whole hog, and why spend eye-watering sums of money on services that we don't require? The most important thing is to keep it simple and straightforward - that's what works for us as a family".
And that's what we did. From start to end, our engagement with Pure Cremation was really simple and seamless. They were professional, empathetic and reassuring. Excellent in fact.
I wish everyone knew that there are other options than the usual high street funeral service or traditional undertaker service.
Pure Cremation deserves all its success. Simply brilliant.

Using Pure Cremations is our idea of a perfect funeral.
At the unexpected death of our father in hospital the fact he had chosen Pure Cremations made things easier. Not feeling up to speaking to anyone my sister and I chose to start proceedings online. We had the forms e-mailed & printed them off, there were many pages but the email stated the numbers of the questions we needed to answer, which weren't many. I returned them by recorded delivery, they emailed to say they had received them. I chose to pay by credit card & so phoned them. The lady I spoke to was wonderful and by the end of our conversation I already had the receipt emailed to me, I felt so light, relieved & almost happy. That was it, they took over and job done.
We didn't want to know when he was being cremated, but that turned out to be a worry not knowing. My dad had said I could have his hip replacement (I'm on the waiting list & he'd just had one) so they returned his metal replacement to me by post as I didn't want to see anyone, but he relief of knowing he'd been cremated was immense!
That's the only thing I'd change the next time we use them, I'll tick the box to know the date of the cremation.
So much service for a small cost.

My son chose an unattended cremation and I contacted several companies. Some would not collect his remains from the isle of wight. Pure cremation agreed immediately and were very kind and explained everything step by step and kept me informed all the way.
My son's ashes were returned to me by hand in a very tasteful box.

We were lucky in some ways that my wife knew she only had a limited time after the cancer diagnosis. So she insisted on planning her last days with my daughter and me in some detail: so practical and so brave.
Although she had been brought up a Catholic, her views had changed and she was continuously reminding us that it wasn’t her in the coffin, but just a ‘husk’. She was somewhere else.
She wanted us to celebrate her life, which we did with over 200 friends in a local venue. We were aware that the cremation had taken place earlier that week to dispose of her ‘husk’.
Pure Cremation offered exactly what she wanted and I would recommend this type of service to anyone.

My husband didn't want a funeral or anyone to attend so he chose Pure Cremation. He had cancer and was therefore able to tell us beforehand what he wanted. They were very understanding and helpful when I rang them after his death and collected him from the local funeral director to take him to the crematorium when appropriate. The total cost was very reasonable and his ashes were returned to me shortly after the cremation. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

We were nervous and a tad apprehensive as this was a first to use this type of service.
I sent an email and was contacted almost immediately by a very pleasant lady who talked me through explaining the process professionally and simply which made it easy to choose Pure Cremation.
Everything was done exactly as we had talked about they were dignified through out contacting me each part of the whole process as on request until the Ashes were hand delivered.

My husband passed away in November 2018. His wish was to have an 'unattended cremation'. Only close family allowed to say good bye and that was done prior to Pure Cremation, in a hospital. So from that point we needed a Direct Cremation service.
Prior to choosing Pure Cremation I had several days calling similar companies online, and to my surprise all other orgs asked for all money upfront before revealing the forms. I needed to see documents first before I could pay the entire amount.
Pure Cremation posted me forms and invoice first. All I needed to do is to send back forms and pay the invoice by transferring the money online. From that point, there were no more tasks, just the wait. Everything was done much quicker than indicated on the website. Even the hand delivery was within a week from the actual cremation date. Pure Cremation Support Team kept me updating with all the stages by calling and emailing me. Also they provided with Documentations for Travelling with Ashes for no extra cost.
I cannot overestimate how well they did this hard task. I would certainly recommend them to anyone whose wish is very similar. Thank you!
