Right now it is very quiet due to the Covid-19. But we still have students. And there is nowhere else I would want to work. Everything is being done to help the slow down of the disease. It truly is a remarkable place to work.

An excellent choice for me, started Russian from scratch so took a great leap of faith. The lecturers were encouraging, friendly and supportive. The social ambience and sporting facilities were first class. Four wonderful years including two paid study trips to Moscow and Minsk, a great springboard into life.

I studied at Surrey for 3 years. The teaching staff for my course were fantastic and delivered classes in a way that truly engaged students.
Unfortunately, the university decided to shut down my course midway through my degree. In addition to this bit disappointment, I was faced with lack of support from the university throughout my studies. I cannot talk regarding the experiences of UK students. However, as an international student, I felt that I was completely unsupported throughout my studies. When I applied for my course, it was the best in the UK and the university itself was in the top 10. 3 years later, the university shut down the first academic university programme in the UK for dance, and the university itself descended into the top 100 list.

Oh boy! Where do I even beginnnn!!!
I studied MSc. in Accounting and Finance; class of 2016. Hands down it was the best year of my life! I would give up anything to go back and repeat that one year! A year full of fun, memories, struggles, studying and party! Not to mention the people I met from all over the world, the friends I made and the memories I have from my time at the University. The University was named ‘The University of the Year’ in 2015 - and that’s when I started school. Couldn’t have been a better year to start!
The gigantic yet beautiful campus, the trees, the flowers, the lake, the ducks, I mean - how can a person NOT fall in love with that place!
All my Professors were super friendly and helpful. They made sure we were on top of our courses and helped us ace the exams. Clearing a masters with a distinction was only possible with the resources the University provided. The library was my second home. I’ve spent 18/19 hours a day studying and enjoyed my time! Massive library. Stocked with every possible resource a student might need.
I was staying at Manor Park. Man that place is amazing! I miss the morning coffee with a cookie at Heart & Soul! Mannn I could go on and on and on and write a million words about my experiences at the University.
If you’re a future candidate and are reading my review - I would highly recommend University of Surrey. Believe me, you won’t regret it and you’ll thank me everyday for the rest of your life! GURANTEEEEEEED!!

The University of Surrey is a public research university in Guildford, England. The university received its royal charter in 1966, along with a number of other institutions following recommendations in the Robbins Report. The institution was previously known as Battersea College of Technology and was located in Battersea Park, London. Its roots however, go back to Battersea Polytechnic Institute, founded in 1891 to provide higher education for London's poorer inhabitants.

I was in University of Surrey for conference. It has a lovely campus. As you might know, Surrey is famous with its space industry. The university also has a 5G innovation center. I really enjoyed English breakfast and meals. It is small town with strong student activity. You can have a nice walkabout under cool weather, sometimes sunny

My daughter goes to this university , I couldn't be more pleased she chose Surrey.
It's a lovely place to be , and that's a major factor in education.
Being happy in university is important.
Guildford is a lovely place , people make the place , and the beautiful university and Guildford are an added bonus .

I'm not actually at the university I'm here with NCS but we just had a mini talent show and my stuff has been locked in a room including medication and phone charger among other things and it would be nice if the security either waited for everyone to leave or checked for personal belongings first

Excellent environment. Convenient location to the public transport, shopping, restaurants, hospital, supermarkets, etc. Student accommodation is great. Reputable university in the UK and some of the departments are world class top ratings. Lovely staff. I would certainly recommend to future students looking to study here at this university.

Accommodation service of university of Surrey is really really terrible lots of faulty facilities and whoever complains , the accommodation service will blame everything on you. So don’t bother, you wouldn’t even get an apology.

i payed lot of money for spend here 2 weeks, but here on every step you see limits. you can't walk here after 10 pm, you can't take food more 1 time, you can't take food what you like, only combinations what give you worker. that is bad place for spend holiday

I done BSc in hosp.&tourism management and i can only recommend this school. i did enjoy mostly the 2nd and 3rd year with the choice of elective modules - business law, employment law.

Great place, full of young and intelligent people. Staff is prepared and well organised. There are plenty of things to do on campus thanks to the events organised by the university and the students union. Unfortunately it can get quite busy during exam period. Library and various labs are well equipped and easy to access at all times. Buildings are labelled appropriately, making it easy for new visitors to make their way through campus. Following nights out on Fridays and Saturdays the campus can get littered with trash but is promptly cleaned by staff and relevant cleaners. Would recommend a visit especially on open days if considering Surrey as one of your choices.
