So so helpful! Was recently at store to have a new car audio system fitted. Errol (apologies, I’m sure I’ve butchered the wording) the expert on site was so helpful! It was a struggle to find the right bits for my old car, including the necessary trim, wiring loom etc etc, but Errol went above and beyond to help and get the fitting done on the day. This included calling multiple Halfords sites to ask if they had the right wires, numerous back of the store checks, whilst dealing with a steady onslaught of new customers! So grateful and will definitely return to this branch in the future.

We had an installation booked for a new car stereo, the staff were super helpful in getting us the casing we needed for our car model. Errol was fantastic throughout the installation, he ran us through the process and then helped us understand how the new system works. Incredibly friendly and helpful experience, would come back again!

Errol is the man! Helped me get the best deal for a stereo and fitted as well. Amazing service, very polite and helpful. I was booked 3 weeks ahead and his manager found me a slot 2 weeks earlier. Thank you very much guys. Definitely recommend Errol if you need a new stereo.

Although booked with the mechanic a few days ago for installing stereo, quite unfortunately we had to wait almost an hour until the mechenic could lend us a hand. Under the blazing sun and a row of three plastic chairs, this store gets a three star. Other than that, staff here are friendly and helpful.

Halfords emailed me asking to review their shop so whilst I probably would have not bothered I’m going to oblige them. I needed to fix my bike. Waited in a 3 person queue that took an hour due to a seeming lack of staff. I had booked a ‘repair’ appointment but was told to drop my bike off a month later as they were so busy. Fine. I brought my bike back a month later as requested, waited an hour and a half this time again due to staffing. Asked if I had a form I was never given, no, but thankfully my bike was accepted anyway. I was called the next day by an indifferent mechanic who told me that ‘bike is scrap, too expensive to repair, get a new one’. Clearly, just not interested as repairs would cost a few hundred pounds and an equivalent new bike would cost a thousand or so. Not very environmentally friendly either. They asked me if they could scrap it for me which I declined. I went back again and waited (only half an hour this time which was good) in a three person queue to collect my bike. I will take it elsewhere. Cons: - There seems to be a policy where it is easier to just push the customer to buy a new bike. - I waited a month and 3 hours over 3 visits to be told that my bike couldn’t be fixed, which seems a bit extreme. - No-one was really paying attention to social distancing or mask wearing. Customers and staff. - There aren’t enough staff at the bike station. Pros: - The floor staff were friendly and knowledgeable. (Which is why I’ve rated it two stars instead of one)

Every time I go to Halfords I meet friendly members of the staff who seem happy to help and who are very knowledgeable (although I only use their bikes services). Wandsworth store specifically has everything that I need, and also, it has a varied range of products!

Halfords Wandsworth (Lombard road store) is the worst store I’ve ever had dealings with. They’ve employed an external company to man the phones who can’t tell you nothing about your order or repairs. The store never answers its phone to customers or head office and you just go round in circles with head office saying they can’t get hold of the store. I was told they can’t get in contact with the store because of social distance... It’s a joke. I’ve had my bike in for repair and no call to say it’s ready or delayed. Was told a bogus time of repair and now it’s 4 days later and I don’t know if repairs have started/ are on going or have been finished. It was the same situation back when halfords had 1 hour long queues. I needed a new battery because mine was playing up and the charge was going quickly. No ones at halfords could tell me if my replacement battery had arrived.I didn’t want to wait for an hour to be told it wasn’t in. How hard is it Halfords to get basic customer service and communication right? You’ve making a killing lockdown and everyone buying bikes and your running stores with no staff. When I get my bike back I’m refusing to spend anymore of my time or money at your business.

I have been visiting Halford store for past many years both for my car and bike accessories, parts and repair. I love stock availability, staff knowledge and their customer services. Both car & bike department mechanics do their jobs professionally and their prices are competitive. Once you are there you would end up buying something for no reason haha. I love this place :)

Avoid. - had to visit 4 times across a month to get my bike repaired, had registered my repair voucher to the shop so couldn’t go anywhere else - Each time I had to queue for 1hr + and it was never busy - over 4 hours of my life ???? - Once I finally had my bike checked in, the expectation was 1 day. They “forgot” about the bike and I waited 8 days - with no acknowledgement of their error - Once I collected my bike, I went for a ride and the handlebars were loosened and I nearly came off on the first turn - so dangerous. Just take the 10£ hit and go to a local shop.

Great experience at Halfords I went for fitting CarPlay stereo with dab navigation with rear camera and steering wheel control its all done in less than 3 hours great job Before everything they have started hygiene cleaning my car then started the fitting. I have request price match on the CarPlay stereo and they have accepted to match price and great job I really recommend Halfords

I booked an appointment for my bike assessment at 11.30am and the staff told me when that the appointment is not important. And that I had to queue as anyone else. It made me question why bother filling a form for an appointment in the first place. The staff in the shop was unhelpful. I would definitely NOT recommend.

I dropped off my cycle for what should have been one day repairs. After not being contacted about any issues, I came back to find that the bike had not been worked on at all. Each time I called for the next week (3 times total) I kept being told that it was going to be worked on the next day, but then no one worked on it or contacted me. After one week I finally came by in person and it was fixed, but no one had bothered to contact me to collect it. I was extremely frustrated with my service.

Waited for 30 mins because of poorly trained and unfocused staff. My click and collect item could not be found. They tried to pretend something similar was it and get me to take it. I said no thanks. Perfectly nice people, smart enough to do much better. Unfortunately, badly led and managed, poorly supported by weak IT. Apart from that, bloody marvellous.

Every step in buying parts online for my bike has been painful with Halfords. Calling in to ask if there was a service and a charge to install purchased items on my bike took 25 mins, and still the woman didn't know. I got a call to say my click and collect items had arrived, but actually only one item had arrived. I arranged to wait for the other item to arrive, and they promised to call me when it was ready to collect...I never got that phone call. The website said that they had actually cancelled that item (which they did without asking or informing me), but as it was using a time-limited voucher, I would have lost this. I called in to discuss this (first time I spoke to someone who knew what they were doing). I went into the store to pick up all the items, and I was queueing for 40 MINUTES (literally to just pick up my items). Terrible experience, all for one online purchase.

Store was clean, tidy and well ticketed - Feb 21 - . Have been here a few times and its always been good. Parking is usually no problem. On the times I've had to engage with staff they have always been helpful. Also it's opposite Battersea Heliport so quite often you get to feel upclose the Helicopters ???? land and take off. Also next to Land Rover showrooms where you can see the range and wish you had one.

How can you be such a horrible place! First of all, according to an email you sent me, I came and collected my items however, only half of the items that can be collected, half is not available even though on the email you said all available already. Secondly, came to the store but barely seeing staff wearing mask, they will either put it under their nose or not wearing it. I am 100 % sure everyone agree as there is so many review saying it already. Thirdly, after a week of wait, I have to call you back to see if my other items are available but still no even you promised that it will be only 5 days to a week. Then 2 weeks later, I called back and asked whether I can change my order to a different Halford store as it was such a long wait for me and Halford Wandsworth is pretty far from where I live anyway so I will order in a different store that available and nearer to where I live, but no, you said it is now available in store and I can come to collect. OK FINE, why no one contact me that it is now available to collect and I have to contact to get an update? Fourthly, I came back for the items that was not collected, traveling so far to collect it and unable to do so as it took so long, I - myself do understand you are busy so I said can I come to different store to collect as I am late, they then told me to do it online, I went home, called and you said all of my order was collected? How come? I AM SO DISAPPOINTED AND FEEL SO UNBELIEVABLE IN THIS SITUATION.

Big thank you to Forrest, the bike repair man. Got a puncture 2 mins into my 30min cycle to Camberwell, and also had brake pads that weren't working properly. Turned up and explained my problem, and without hesitation, Forrest got to work and fixed my problem in 10mins! Really helpful and hardworking which is something I haven't always experienced in bike shops so thank you Halfords Wandsworth.

Very poor customer service, I brought my scooter here to have a simple inner tube replacement because of a puncture, after collecting it and taking my scooter on the road, it was off balance and shaking (in worse condition than before I took it to the store), this could have resulted in a serious accident. I had to return it to the store immediately for them to have a look at it; one of the mechanics said that the problem was the tyre was out of place, basically it hadn't been fitted on properly. There was no apology. Shockingly bad customer service. I think that's extremely negligent and unacceptable that you can accept money for a repair service and not even ensure that the repair has actually been completed properly, all vehicles should be tested to see that they're actually fit for use after a repair before being returned to a customer. That is a basic expectation and is extemely shocking that this is not something that your staff are practising.

Unbelievable horrible. The customer service is rude, impolite. This is a big company and I expected better, especially this is a hard time, if you are allowed to open and operate as usual, you should be happy and work hard to bring customer back not away. I ordered a bunch of items, the website said it will be available in 1 hours, turned out to be 1 week. No explanation, no phone call to give a reason, only an update said the order cancelled. 100% people will panic and wonder why as there was no explanation at all whatsoever, my order was £1200. I tried to give you money but as you don't want it, I will rather cancel it. Well, never again then thanks.

Absolutely phenomenal experience! We missed our appointment for a bike mount rack fitting for our car (due to an error by another Halfords store) and as soon as we arrived we were told not to worry and that we would be seen. Friendly faces as soon as we arrived and super helpful. :) Jamie was amazing - not only did he accommodate us, he did it with humour and gave us lots of tips along the way for when we have to do it ourselves. Cannot fault this store or the staff - they are a real asset to Halfords and will definitely come back to this store from now on. Thanks Jamie!!

I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Motoring & Lifestyle Stores The issue that I have experienced was: Due to having a cracked motorcycle number plate I visited the Wandsworth Branch to order a replacement. I was informed that it would take 24hrs. It was a Sunday therefore I was prepared to work from home on the Monday. Having not received a call from Halfords post lunchtime on Monday 24th August I called to follow up. The sales assistant I then spoke with told me that I had been misinformed and it would take 48Hrs for the plate to be delivered to the store. Wednesday Lunchtime I still hadn't received a call to collect. I followed Friday 28th as I felt that I'd been more than reasonable. I first spoke with a lady called Adrian who said the Manager was outside fitting roof bars so could't come to the phone. I asked for his full name which she didn't know therefore left me on hold for 6-mins before coming back with a name. The skill and knowledge you'd expect to find from a sales assistant is truly in short supply if you don't even know who your manager is... I then asked who the Area Manager was and this response took a further 10-mins. During the the total 16-mins the manger didn't complete the roof bar instillation and come back to me. I therefore contacted the complaints department whereby I spoke with Andy; she informed me that my order wasn't received due to the the fact I'd requested a Border with a Flag also carbon lettering. Surely if one of the assistance had cared to followed up on my initial query I wouldn't have lost a week of not being able to ride my motorcycle into the office, leaving me to work from home. Andy was meant to transfer to the store Manager however the call seemed to have been disconnected leaving me to call the store back once again. I was told once again he was fitting roof bars, however I insisted that I speak with him. Having spoken with the Manager (Mr James Carter) I now understand the lack of customer service received from his team. He didn't wish to understand the basis of my complaint, he just wanted to whisk me off the phone without delay to continue his furthering his marathon roof bar installation. Terrible customer service ineptitude beyond compare from the top down. AVOID THIS STORE - I wish I could give zero stars.
