By far the best service I’ve had in London, went above and beyond to help me out after I got sold a dud bike and ripped off. Got me back on the road with minimal cost when they really didn’t have to. Highly recommend and really friendly staff

I had some disk rub on the rear wheel so took my bike in to ask what the best way forward was. Didn’t have to wait even a minute for my bike to be up on the stand being looked over. Problem solved in under 5 minutes for free. As a first time customer, I really appreciate the quick and hassle free help.

Awful service from start to finish. Rude staff and unprofessional. Took bike there twice to be fixed, came away with a £400 bill and they still hadn’t fixed my gearing correctly. My friend also had similar issues with them. Avoid at all costs and take to a shop that understand how bikes work.

Certainly the best bike service I’ve had. Managed to book a slot within a few days and then upon arrival the team advised the full service maybe overkill based on the condition of the bike.
A full assessment was detailed in an email within two hours of dropping it off, and recommendations of what was essential and what was “nice to have”.
When picking it up, the team spent 15 minutes running through all of the changes they made and why.
Very happy with the service and will be my go to for any bike help moving forwards ????????

Thank you for all of your help with the repairs and service of my bike. I felt obliged to write to you to express my gratitude at the friendly professionalism shown by all at your branch.
You may recall my annoyance and frustration at learning the extent of the repairs needed on my bicycle, I was pretty annoyed at the whole situation but Edward did not shy away from the probing questions and answered all of my queries calmly, intelligently and promptly. In showing a real understanding of your field Edward and the rest of the team were able to exceed my expectations of the service I was to receive. Not only did you bring the date forward for the actual work needed you also declined to complete all of the works quoted as upon further inspection they were unnecessary, saving me money and time. All of this done with personality and enthusiasm, which is so refreshing.
So, thank you once again, I am thrilled to be back on the road and I will be back if I need anything (hopefully not too soon) and I shall be recommending to anyone to come and see you if they need help with their bike.

Went there with a tire issue and they fixed it in less than 10 min.
The issue was so small that they didn't even charge me. Also adjusted my seat and my breaks. Very happy with their service!

I visited twice due to an issue with my seat. The first time, they did a temporary fix so I could at least reach home. The second time was definitive. They were able to fix it on the spot and didn’t charge anything for it... i know for sure that my future bike fixings will be with them!!! Friendly, professional, and very polite!

Been down there a few times to pick up parts for a bike build, and they have always been super helpful, and have never pushed for a sale. I went in today to buy some genuine Zipp valve extenders, and instead they gave me them to me for free, when they could've easily charged me. They also took a look at a second hand wheel for me, telling me that it was in brilliant condition when I was convinced it needed a service! Extremely patient when you just ask questions, and then point you in the best direction for you, not the direction that maximises their profit. Really feels like a community shop.

My first visit was with a commuter bike that was in dire need of a service and they helped me out with a couple of sensible part replacements but also indicating what to keep an eye on - not just making a quick buck on replacing parts that were still usable! Their attitude and friendly approach means I've been back and purchased two bikes from them since, one had a warranty issue with the pedals and I got a super quick turn around to get me going again ASAP. Thanks, definitely my go-to shop now.

These guys are simply top notch. Lee and Oscar are geniunely interested in bike building and were extremely helpful in solving issues with my home built bike.
I had a very particular issue with my BMC roadmachine bottom bracket where the bottom bracket interfered with the routing of the hydraulic hose. Lee and Oscar dedicted thier time in trying different solutions, we managed to work out a perfect solution in the end. I was only charged for what seemed to be a very standard charge for all the hard work they did in the end.
I'd highly recommend those guys for any issues related to high end bikes with exotic components as they are one of the most "clued up" guys I've seen in London and I'd think it's the best bike shop in and around Kensington and Chelsea and Fulham area.

I can't recommend Balfe's Fulham more highly. Good service when ordering but really brilliant service when I had a problem. Paolo and David at Fulham could not have helped more and took all stress out of fixing things. They are genuinely concerned about getting the best thing for customers. I would always go back there.

Fantastic shop and quality service. My spoke flew off, so I brought it to Balfes Fulham. The part arrived quickly however on their inspection the part was wrong, manufacturers fault and not theirs, Lee kindly gave me a spare personal carbon wheel to roll around on till mine is fixed. Very glad to have as a local shop, service, quality and hospitality on point!

I had a nasty accident, September 20, on my Canyon Aeroad, coming out of Richmond park. I bent my Reynolds carbon wheel and since I live close to Balfe’s in Fulham I called in. First time ever in one of their shops and the guys were unreal. Under restrictions then they were beyond helpful. Managed to fix my wheel in less than a day. I was shocked at how little it cost me. I almost had a fight with them as I felt I should be paying more. The wheel is perfect.
So, after recovering from injury, I’ve just managed to get back on the bike yesterday and noticed an issue with the saddle mount on the stem. I had a fair idea what the problem was but couldn’t seem to rectify it and wasn’t brave enough to force the issue. I dropped down to Balfe’s, again, this morning and they had it fixed in half an hour. Same friendly welcoming manner and no charge.
These guys are unreal and they have my custom, now, for as long as I cycle a bike. I’ll be booking my Canyon in for a service in the next few weeks.
Cannot speak highly enough of these guys.
