Very busy but this proves that it is popular. Service is a little slow but if you want a leisurely meal that's o.k. Food choice is good and they do cater for children on a seperate menu.

Very disappointing.
We pre booked a table for 9 people weeks in advance, when we arrived the table was only set for 8 in a very confined space.
We waited 30 minutes for some of the drinks to arrive. We had to wait over 60 MINUTES for the starters to arrive, and that was after checking with a waiter then a waitress. We then had to wait a further 60 MINUTES for the main courses to arrive, some were cold some had been under the hot plate so long they had dried out.
It got to the point that the staff were and I quote "embarrassed".
We have used this restaurant on previous visits to Brighton and received acceptable service and good food, but on this occasion it was totally UNACCEPTABLE and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Been to this restaurant many times but this time very diaappomted both had a bread dish with chease ham and spinach. The bread was very doughy the cheese was very stringy
It was very difficult to digest waitress avoided comtact paid the bill but will not be coming back

Group of 7. Booked a table on a Saturday night. Extra 15 minute delay to the table being ready. 25 minutes after that they told us there was a 45-60 minute wait for food, why they couldn't tell us on arrival I will never know. we left and went to the American dinner down the street who were much more accommodating.

In between shows at the Brighton Fringe, we had 35 mins to grab something to eat. Nearby Food for Friends had no tables so we hurried into here instead. After some speedy ordering, the pizzas came quickly and kept hunger at bay. Only odd thing was when we asked for our leftover pizza to takeaway and the waitress picked up the plates and dropped it into the box in a vaguely annoyed manner. Actually made us giggle it was such an extreme reaction!

Cosy place, that's why it has two stars.
Food was not good though. The sweet potato wedges were undercooked and bland, the pasta sauce was very runny and bland and the pizzas were overpriced for what you got.
Friendly waiters though.

Very disappointing visit, over 45 minutes to take the order for a party of eight, only to be told that a large amount of items not available. Service very slow throughout which resulted in the dessert order being taken very late in the eve, much to the disappointment of the manageress. She clearly did not want to be there.
