Appalling service. Waiting patiently for about 30 mins and some guy who apparently was in the shop earlier but had to leave to go and get something comes back into the shop and is,allowed to jump to the front of the queue. I'm sorry Vodafone but if someone leaves the shop they lose their place in the queue

I have nothing against Vodophone however the staff in the Lewes shop, which is a franchise. They have misled me and gone back on a new contract arrangement. I was sold a contract payment plan of £43 a month an increase of £14 a month from my previous contract. I said I didn't want this so was offered a 15% discount bringing the monthly billing to £36. This is at the shops discreation. I was informed that another form had to be completed and would be actioned. I was then advised by vodophone that a monthly debit of £43 is due to be deducted from my account this week. So I go back to the Lewes store to be told that within a week they can no longer offer the discount and that the only thing they could do was to change the contract agreement with less unlimited usage. I would have to hand the phone back and then get issued with a new one. Needless to say I was not happy having agreed a 24 month contract. Shame as the young man who sold the phone to me was initially very helpful however all he could say was that there was nothing he could do. I asked to see the manager who was not in so I asked for the name and number. I was only given the managers first name as its against company policy to give out the full name . I was given the store phone number. So I have called and left 2 messages and no one has returned my calls. Judging from other reviews this seems to be a common occurance. So I decided to call vodophone direct. They sorted this out immediately as clearly they are concerned about customer service. I explained what had happened and my contract has now been amended to reflect what was agreed. I do not have to hand the phone back and it was all dealt with very swiftly without any fuss. So I will not be using the Lewes store at any time in the future and I will also be advising others not too. They have not only lost my custom but my husbands as well as his contract is due for renewal. So my advice is just go to Vodophone direct.

Really awful - could be the dictionary definition of awful. I went there today to seek assistance over a billing matter, which several hours spent online and on the phone could not resolve. The manager (who in my opinion was a poor brand ambassador, looking like he had slept in his clothes and was in need of a shave) said with an air of disdain that there was nothing he could do.

Have been promised a phone call back within 48 hours....that was 11 days ago. The phone number given to me by the store is never answered. Seems like there is one member of staff who is on the ball. Unfortunately, they are on holiday.

Absolutely rubbish service. They have no idea what they are doing in there. My husband and I have had our phones cut off every month for the last 6 months and have to go back in store. And it still keeps happening! They also refuse to give the number or contact details of a manager or someone higher up. I had never had such a frustrating experience with a phone network. Don't waste your time. Should have never moved from 3.

Very poor service. Luke, who served me, is obviously in need of training - he had trouble in changing my sym card. On arriving home with my new purchase I discovered I was gaven me the wrong information and I was not helped in setting up my new phone. I shall not shop at Vodafone again.
