I attend for physio appointments - the site is easily accessible from Oxford Circus tube station and the staff are generally friendly at reception and my physios have always been supportive and encouraging to enable a speedy recovery. I've given it 4 stars because the facility is good and I am impressed with how they are managing the social distancing etc. in the current environment. But, the facility doesn't stand out as such. It's quite a big facility to manage, and while the dental clinic has it's own reception, the physio clinic doesn't so your physio might be running a bit late and you have to go back up 2 flights of stairs to find out what is happening - so it's just shy of the fifth star. Since I have not used any other services at facility, my review is solely for the physiotherapy clinic.

Avoid this center. They book you in, happily take full upfront payment, waste half an hour of your time and then refuse to privde services due to administrational hurdles. A massive waste of everyone's time. I went streight to a close by Harley Street clinic where service is impeccable.

Well if you call 8 times on a weekday during open office hours with an agreed telephone appointment and only receive a voicemail that’s pretty poor. As poor as it gets. So 1 star is justified.

I feel the customer service very poor. Previously I had been told they received no payment even though there accounts department confirmed on many occasions payment received I will be cancelling my account. The one front desk person who greets patients is not nice at all

I attended the dental clinic here for a clean up and routine check. I can wholeheartedly say it was the best ever clean up and consultation I had. I don't remember the lady's name however do remember she was pf Spanish origin.

The only good thing about this practice is the free fruit and flapjacks. They have a swanky exterior but my experience was anything but professional. When I had my filling done (recommended to me by this dentist but not by a previous private practice dentist), my dentist smelled of sweat (at 10 o'clock in the morning!) and didn't manage to inject the correct amount of local anaesthetic, which meant the first drilling was painful. He then 'topped it up' which meant my mouth was numb for 10 hours (as opposed to the 2 hours he had predicted). Then, for 3 weeks after the appointment, I experienced severe pain in the tooth in question (it didn't hurt before). Having raised these points in a feedback form, I was offered a complimentary follow-up visit with a different dentist. When I accepted this offer, the new dentist had no idea why I was there, and looked at me blank, but eventually worked it out. Now, three months on, the pain caused by that filling has finally subsided.

I started having laser hair removal treatments at The Bupa Centre West End since March 2012, and it's now January 2013. It took me a few months of research to choose the right clinic for treatments. I initially went to EF Medispa (Kensington) but at my free consultation, the lady said that after taking a six weeks course of doxycycline for my chest three months prior, I would have to wait 6 months before I could undertake the treatment (she also said the Soprano was pain-free - more on this later). Baffled, I consulted a dermatologist at Bupa Cromwell Hospital (Dr Morar) who informed me that Doxycycline only has a half-life of 18-22 hrs and that I should be fine after a week of finishing the course, and advised me that it's best to get a medical professional to do the treatments rather than a beautican at a swanky salon. I choose Bupa - their West End clinic was the nearest one offering laser hair removal. I met with a nurse called Helen, who not only answered the doxycycline question correctly but also told me that although the Soprano laser is advertised as 'pain fee, hair free' this is rather subjective, and told me to expect some discomfort given my dark/coarse hair, but re-assured me that she hasn't had a patient that couldn't tolerate the treatment, and that it becomes less of an issue after a couple of treatments. I appreciated her honesty and went ahead with an initial patch test. I had the first four treatments done by Helen (I'm having my legs and underarms done) and now a nurse called Hazel has been doing the remaining ones. Helen, Hazel and the reception staff are extremely friendly and professional. I still have a couple of treatments left to go (fingers crossed!), and would recommend anyone considering laser hair removal to use this clinic.
