My 2010 Jaguar XK Portfolio just had a stereo upgrade with Audiofile-Incar, replacing the OEM Bowers and Wilkins system. They integrated the Jag head unit with a Helix Optical Interface linked to a Herz DSP and a JL Audio 500 Watt 3-channel amplifier with Audison Voce 6" Front Speakers and a JL Audio 8" Subwoofer in the boot giving a true digital end to end performance. This still allows full steering wheel control with the head unit and and my existing Bovee BlueTooth Streamer via the iPod connector. You cannot tell the integration has taken place, with all the components hidden away. The sound quality is incredible, better than I expected, my 3 hour drive home was fantastic, listening to my favourite play lists on Tidal. The sound proofing in the doors has made a huge difference blocking out the road noise.
I can highly recomend Audiofile-Incar, Gary was extremely professional and helpful, with advice before during and after the install. The courtesy car was clean and well maintained and very helpful whilst my Jag was with them for the two days to do the upgrade.

I recently brought in my imported Cobra Mustang for a new Pioneer double din touch screen installation.
The team at Audiofile-Incar did an absolute great job. I supplied them with a new radio bezel to transform it to double din. It looks like it is from the factory.
I'm well impressed with the clean looks and it sounds amazing.
They even gave me a courtesy car while they did their work. When I picked my car up they showed me the basics on using the radio.
I would highly recommend Audiofile-Incar to anyone looking to upgrade their sound system in their vehicle.

First class service and impeccable attention to detail. I called for some details on audio options and spoke to Dave who was super patient and answered all my silly questions and followed up with an email of prices and details. He could not have been any more helpful! When I picked up the car, Gary - the famous one from YouTube :) - did the handover and treated me like I was their only customer (clearly I’m not as there is a 3 month waiting list to get work done ... worth the wait though!). I was like a kid on Christmas Day - amazed with their work. What an amazing team - first class customer service and so much pride in their work! Don’t bother going anywhere else.

Rude and unprofessional. Visited the garage this morning, asked the guy there 'Are you open?' (tried to be polite) and his response was straight away 'NO!' He didn't even bother to ask 'How can I help you?' or anything. They should be open from 9 as highlighted on their website. Now is 9:43! If you woke up on the wrong side of the bed, it's not our fault, but being rude and unprofessional it's not acceptable, especially now when other businesses are struggling! Not recommended and won't return!

Exceptional service from true professionals in every sense of the word.
Having become disappointed with the service I was receiving from my local installer, I found this company on YouTube and knew from the outset they were professionals who would do an excellent job. I booked my vehicle in before it arrived and had to wait about three months to get the work done but boy was it worth it! Despite battling staff shortages and a global pandemic, they honoured the date of my booking and completed the work on time. Absolutely everything about the install was done with an exceptional level of excellence. From the choice of components to the quality of the install, I'm so so happy with the results. As for the quality of the sound, I'm almost forty and have been into decent Hi-Fi and quality sound for as long as I can remember but from my home Hi-Fi to my high-end Sure earphones with separate headphone amp, I've never heard anything like the incredible sound that now comes from my vehicle. Putting the radio on seems like a waste! I don't believe this has much to do with the components themselves, but is mostly due to the installation and the way the system has been tailored to my vehicle. The way these guys work is like an art! I wish this level of service was more common but sadly it's not been my experience previously. Thank you so much guys for the excellent job and keep up the awesome work.

Booked my Defender in via email for Double Din stereo Upgrade & Rear Camera.
Was greeted immediately, supplied with a courtesy car, my defender was ready the next day. They took the time to explain everything & show what work was carried out & how. I never leave reviews & have never used Audiofile-Incar before but cannot recommend them highly enough. Friendly, trustworthy 5 Star service from start to finish. THANKS

I recently purchased a 2012 Jaguar XF with the 1200 B&W stereo fitted. Whilst I thought the stereo was decent and had potential, i was disappointed with the how hollow the doors were, causing vibration when the volume was turned up and just creating an overall thin, underwhelming sound that was not doing the b&w speakers justice. I was also surprised how much general road noise and tyre roar i could hear given it is a premium vehicle. I asked Audiofile-Incar to install Dynamat sound deadening in all 4 doors and the improvements have been amazing ! The car is noticeably quieter and the stereo now has so much more impact and weight, and the vibration and distortion at higher volumes is massively reduced. Gary was fantastic with his patient advice and it was clear to me this was a quality install. Highly recommended,

Fantastic Meridian upgrade installed to my Jaguar F-Type. Sound proofed doors, speaker swap for Audison Voce + amp for woofers (with useful separate gain). The result..... incredible sound and a massive improvement over the basic Meridian system. The service was fantastic. The moment you arrive and collect your very clean courtesy car you know your vehicle (new in my case) is in good hands. Friendly, helpful, knowledgable, professional and efficient. I would definitely recommend Gary, Dave and their team, especially if you have an F-Type.

Have done full installs on all my cars for the last 10 years - including an E350 Cab, 928 S4, C63, 991, M2, RS4 and my GR Yaris is booked in for a few weeks time. Also installed dash cams and trackers in other cars for me. Plenty of other reputable places I pass on my 150 mile journey to Audio-File, but I choose to stick with what I know.
Always willing to help and give the best solution for me without trying to upsell products that wont make a difference.

So after a month of waiting to drop my car off I have today picked it up after it has been to Audiofile-Incar and all I can say is WOW. They've fitted my BMW with a system 3 plus, party sub, front and back dash camera, ghost immobiliser and a S5 Deadlock tracker. Right from the initial phone call with Gary to travelling from Birmingham to listen to the demo car to handing my car over the customer service has been nothing but friendly and helpful ive definitely made a friend for life and it feels like I've known Gary for a lifetime! The quality of the workman ship is outstanding credit to Gary and his team. I will definitely be back for more. I spent weeks researching the different companies in the UK that could do this work (one of which being not to far from here) but I knew that Audiofile-Incar were the right people for the job and I wasn't wrong so don't waste your time and just give these guys a call!

I have had my F11 BMW from new. Great car but atrocious basic system. Saw Audiofile-Incar on YouTube and after a million questions from me, I booked in for a system 2 upgrade. The time my installation date arrived I had decided on a system 3 plus with hifi coding.
I am truly blown away by the results. You can use every part of the volume range without distortion unlike the standard system where the top half was rendered useless. The level of installation is A1 as is the customer service. My car was in 2 days as it was on the run up to Xmas during which time they provided me with a courtesy car to make the 200 mile return round trip. There is a reason why these people have a waiting list everyone. Get yourselves on it. You won't be disappointed.

Gary and the team at Audiofile were a genuine pleasure to deal with, had different levels of installations completed on 4 cars very recently from a simple dash cam to a full bespoke hifi upgrade. Regardless of the amount of money spent the level of service was consistently superb. Most notably, the attention to detail was epic on the hifi upgrades, I'm so pleased with the results, thank you. From the very start Gary was the consummate professional. He has kept me up to date with all developments and delivered the vehicle bang on time. This is despite me adding a load of new jobs some of which were quite detailed. Gary has given me great feedback and made into reality my thoughts and ideas. Nothing was too much trouble and he and his team have done a number of small improvements completely off their own back. I had a new radio system and a dash cam fitted by Audiofile-Incar in my 2004 BMW Z4. Gary and his team really do know their stuff and due to the age and nature of my car they had to carry out a bespoke instalment which was done (along with all other work) to an extreme high standard. Gary was always updating me with the progress of the work and the after sales customer care is excellent. Gary has checked in a couple of times to ensure that I was satisfied with the work and to ensure I was using the system to its full potential. I can't recommend these guys enough. The prices are also very competitive and I will definitely be taking any future projects over. Thanks guys!

Right from the off, the service was excellent. Initial email scoping for options and looking for advice was swiftly replied to with proper quotes which gave confidence that this was a professional outfit. This was a welcome contrast to other companies I had approached who seemed reluctant to go into detail until they were convinced I was a genuine potential customer. In addition to the detailed figures, the provision of a courtesy car whilst the work was being undertaken was a definite deal clincher for me. Gary and the team did an excellent job, everything completed to the most exacting standards with a factory-fitted finish. The advice re the head unit and speaker set up was spot on as it sounds amazing. I was expecting improvements but the transformation was beyond anything I could have expected in a Defender; its now more of an off-road concert hall! After sales advice has also been prompt backed up with both phone call and email. With the team offering a wide range of Defender tweaks, I’ll be back with another “shopping list” in due course.

Audiofile recently upgraded the sound system in my car; a Jaguar XK with poor quality Jaguar standard radio and CD player.
The result is fantastic!! It’s like being in a concert hall - one of the best hifi experiences I’ve had. Really good quality throughout the tonal range, I’m hearing things on favourite tracks that I have never heard before.
We discussed my needs and budget and these guys really delivered - superb value for money.
If you’ve got a Jaguar with standard sound system then you should really consider upgrading it.

From the day we travelled up to Bishops Stortford to demo a BMW system upgrade, to when I collected my upgraded car, Gary and his gang have been nothing other than professional, friendly and accommodating. Thankfully they got this done just before the nationwide lockdown, and I drove the 2hr journey home enjoying my new System 2 Plus. I've been into hi-fi for over 30 years, and honestly only blown away completely by a home audio setup the once, back in 1992. I can honestly say that the setup Gary has done as a "starting point" blew me away for the second time (even though the plan for us to set up the DSP together had to be postponed due to the current health situation). What was even better was that I set Gary the challenge of building a gadget to enable and disable the ASD piped into the cabin, independently of the Sports+ setting (BMW M2 Competition). I wanted the driveability of Sports+ but to sometimes switch off the ASD to listen to hi-fi. I actually don't have a problem with ASD, so when in the mood for driving and not listening, I wanted to switch the ASD back on, and not have to connect or disconnect a harness, nor use a smartphone app each time I start the car. Needless to say, Gary delivered perfectly, and I spent that drive switching it in and out and laughing like a fool. Absolutely delighted and still can't believe that I've got all this for what I believe is a crazy reasonable price. Thanks guys, looking forward to doing more in the future.

I've had a BMW System 2 upgrade installed on my 2017 BMW 530d Touring by Audiofile-InCar and it sounds terrific compared to the standard system. There is a massive improvement in sound quality and they even sourced the OEM tweeter speaker grills from BMW to give it the factory-fitted look. I can now hear the factory subs which I previously didn't know existed, and although a system 3 with new subs would have sounded even better, the system 2 fitted my budget for this car at this time. If I decide to keep the car long-term then I will return to them to make it even better. There was a slight issue with the door locking buttons following the installation and the way that Gary and the team dealt with this was truly amazing. They paid for me to have it fixed locally to save me the drive up, but when the 3rd party failed to fully sort it they fitted me in at my convenience when I was next passing, doing everything they could to make it as easy for me as possible. They ordered completely new parts from BMW to make absolutely sure there were no further issues, and it is now all perfect. To me, the sign of a really good company is how they deal with any issues that do arise. From time to time things will go wrong, but you can rest assured that the team at Audiofile-Incar will go to great lengths to make it perfect. I can't ask for more than that! I have rarely trusted anyone outside the dealer network with my cars, especially during the warranty period, but I now trust Audiofile-Incar with my BMW much more than BMW's own dealer network. Well done to Gary and the whole team!

I've waited 10 years to have a nice system and it's been worth the wait! The sound is amazing - the combination of clarity and power makes every journey a two ticket, front row concert hall experience. My wife says our new car is a pleasure to drive, but the new system is the icing on the cake as she can hear a big difference. Gary is a perfectionist, a gentleman and a master of his art. He and his team have give us our very own piece of musical heaven. I have used Gary and his team for many upgrades to my cars over the years, ranging from small installs to big installs, they always give the best advice, service and quality combined with the best value for money, their continual increase of the customer base and workload with no gaps is testament to this.
