There's only one place i'd go to and that's Audiofile, I've known Gary & Dave for many years and they've installed various equipment in my cars over the years and always do a great job from start to finish and I would highly recommend them ! ????????????

Gary was a great help from the point at which I emailed him my thoughts through to the audio upgrade I received for my car last week. The Audiofile team are passionate about sound and really go the extra mile to give you a system that matches both your expectations and your budget. It's the first time I've ever modified a sound system and on the basis of this experience, I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. I loved the attention to detail around the soundproofing of my doors and the inclusion of small directional speakers to enhance my treble (the large sub unit is the boot was a given obviously!). For me Audiofile offered a great balance between specification and value for money. The provision of a courtesy car at no added cost was an unexpected surprise and made the whole experience even easier!

I took my new car here yesterday to get a Pioneer screen fitted along with a rear view camera and a witness camera. Over the moon, they got it done in a day just like they promised and the quality of work is outstanding. It all looks like it was done in the factory. The rear view camera which i thought would look out of place, actually fits perfectly and its tiny. You cant even tell its there. Overall, outstanding service at an economic rate. Highly recommend these guys.
On top of this they gave me a courtesy car for the day free of charge.

Absolutely fantastic service!
They installed a full high end audio system in my Porsche Panamera Turbo. The attention to detail throughout the install is incredible, with all the 11 of the drivers installed to look like they were done by the factory. Even made some beautifully sculpted housings for the tweeters to go in the dash, but with improved visibility of the tweeter for sound quality, all painted to match the dash.
The wiring of the whole system (and there was a lot!) was all cloth taped as per factory install and the installation of the 2 amps is faultless. I have had many audio installs over the years and this is by far the best job ever!
The whole system was tuned to perfection, and all done for the price quoted.
Very highly recommended.

I don't normally put google reviews, but this is an exception.
Before I purchased anything, I asked numerous questions and they were all answered in a polite,
courteous, knowledgeable manner.
The work carried out was professional and on time. I still had questions after the purchase and Gary was always helpful, along with his co-workers. Really happy to have bought from Audio-File and if I ever need anything in the future, I will most certainly return as I appreciate good honest advice. That is a rarity in this day and age.

I've had a few stereos fitted from here and they always provide the best products combined with the best service. Went in recently as there was a slight problem and it was sorted within 20 minutes free of charge. FYI - the issue with the stereo was my fault as had my car on trickle charge as it's rarely used and this blew the fuses in the head unit and sub when connected wrong.
Always great service, always great sound!

I've just collected my BMW M2 after having a System 3 Plus installed, after reading online reviews I decided it was worth doing two 7 hour round trips to ensure the job was done right.
I'm hugely impressed with both the service Gary and the team provided and the quality of the sound system.
I was dubious it could be any better than some of the high end sound systems you can spec as standard in cars these days but it really is and I've heard and owned a lot!
The system provides rattle free, crystal clear sound with under seat bass that compliments the other speakers. The bass is adjustable for people with different music tastes.
I'm not sure how I'll own a car again without having a system like this, I can sense another two 7 hour tripe when I change!

I've just had a Stage 1 speaker upgrade on my E89 Z4 BMW.
Despite going to Audiofile for a demo I was still apprehensive how the upgrade would translate to my car as the demo vehicle had the full works upgrade and I was just having the stage 1 upgrade, I needn't have been concerned at all, the upgrade has transformed the audio quality by a mile.
The upgrade exceeded my expectation.
On arrival to Audiofile, I was greeted by Gary, he used my christian straight away no need to double check who I was, I've been to car main dealers after buying a car and they cannot remember who I am!!!
The work was carried out as requested to a very high & satisfactory standard.
The customer service is second to none., I like the way the hire car was full of fuel on collection then you return again full rather than the normal collection of the car with 2 thimble's full full of petrol because the previous person was a skin flint and hardly enough to get a petrol station.
I would not hesitate in recommending Audiofile to anyone, the work is not cheap, but you do get what you pay for.

Polite, professional and good value for money. They have transformed my Audi and bailed me out too. They removed a bodged soundproofing job and checked over the installation of an Alpine upgrade system I'd had fitted. They did a proper soundproofing job, refitted all the speakers, checked the wiring and made sure the car was reassembled correctly. They also took photos of the project in progress and showed me exactly what had been done. The car is nice and quiet now with much less road noise and the stereo sounds wonderful. They got it done in 2 days and the end result is better than I hoped for at less than I expected to pay. Thanks guys.

Ordered a Stage 1 for a E81 1 Series BMW. Service was excellent and was given the keys to a courtesy car within 5 minutes of dropping my car off. Collected the next day and very pleased with the results. The mids and tweeters have superb clarity and will keep my ears satisfied till I decide on a stage 2 or 3.
As it stands, I can drive for hours playing music without fatiguing my ears - something which cannot be said of the stock set up and was my fundamental reason for getting the upgrade. The potential of the speakers is abundantly evident and gives me high hopes for the transition when an amp is included in the mix with a stage 2 or 3.
For most, the stage 1 will hit the sweet spot - especially if the stock system tends to give you a headache after a while. For those wanting a genuine sound system upgrade to shout home about, the Stage 2 would be the place to start.
Overall, an excellent company and highly recommended.

I originally found these guys through their YouTube channel, as I was in the early stages of considering a purchase of a Landrover Defender. I contacted Gary the owner and asked to come and take a look at their setup and went down to Bishops Stortford. From the moment I arrived it was clear that they knew what they were doing. Not only is their showroom fully stocked/tidy etc, but Gary also gave me a tour and showed me some other defenders they were working on at the time (and some R8's, BMW's etc). I could see that their engineers were passionate about cars and took great care in their work. Needless to say I gave them my business and the results speak for themselves. The work they completed for me included:
1. Full audio upgrade including a double din Pioneer GPS system, speakers and sub.
2. New front Recaro seats
3. Replaced all lights with LED's (These look amazing)
4. Full sound proofing
5. Reversing cameras and sensors.
6. New headlight surrounds and grill in the matching colour to the car (Satori Black)
7. Rubber liner in the boot and footwell of the car. This looks amazing and feels super heavy duty.
8. Cobra tracking and Immobiliser
One thing I was especially impressed with was that they managed to get the seats in my defender to go back another few inches resulting in a half decent driving position! Something I was told was impossible by others!
I can honestly say that these guys are the best car audio people I have ever dealt with. They clearly care about what they do and I get the impression that even if they were not doing it as a business, they would be doing it as their hobby. The passion shows!
Another thing that stood out for me was that when I got the invoice it was a little less than expected. Gary had passed on a few savings he had achieved from haggling with the suppliers of the Recaro seats. Money he could of just pocketed! Thanks Gary!

when i 1st started to look into getting a new head unit 3 years ago everyone kept saying you cant do it or it would mean striping out the old logic 7 system and putting new amp ect into the range rover sport due to its complicated wiering system and fiber optics because everything runs via the old radio ie: satnav and phone system . we found a wiering loom by connects2 and the 1st go with this worked but it wouldnt rerain the old satnav with the 4x4 info . then we found a company that did a wiering loom from incar tec which ment reating part of the old radio circuit board to keep the original satnav working. i must admit i was a bit doubtfull if all this would work but gary at audiofile was confident he could make it all work so thanks to gary and his team for doing a great job in fitting the pioneer avic-f88dab and retaing all the original range rover functions on the stering wheel and satnav with the 4x4 info witch would of been lost if it wasnt for there fantastic work in figuering all this out ... A first-rate experience all round ... and even provided us with a curtesy car free of charge . THANKS

Outstanding, passionate and knowledgeable service by Gary and his team.
Had a bass upgrade fitted to my Range Rover Sport and it was everything and more that they promised. Also had the Mi Witness HD camera set fitted. I was concerned with work being carried out on a new vehicle and that some damage may appear, but all work was carried out professionally and discreetly.
Would not hesitate to recommend and use them again.

Had a Pioneer avic-z920dab head unit fitted in my Porsche 997.2 to replace the dated PCM3 unit. Received a courtesy call the day before the install to confirm a few things and the install was all done the next day without issue so very happy. As I do not live nearby I had use of a courtesy car which was a nice touch and very handy. Th install was explained, I was shown how to use the new unit and my phone was connected. Excellent service and a very happy customer. Would highly recommend Audiofile-Incar.

I have known the Audiofile guys since the days when a Nakamichi tape deck was the head unit of choice! Last week however I took my restored 1995 XJ6 in for a replacement hifi system, the original having come to the end of it's useful life. I wanted CD capability so Gary and the guys installed an Alpine head unit, which fits perfectly with the look of the interior, a JL amplifier, Audison Voce speakers and a JL subwoofer. The sound is breathtaking and the installation work was absolutely first class, especially on the subwoofer installation and the custom tweeter mounts on the dashboard. I cannot rate their professionalism high enough, other than it was up there with the guys at Dunmow Coachworks who did the refurbishment of the bodywork. I am now looking forward to some long journeys where I can really enjoy the system to the full. Thanks to everyone who worked on the car!

Gary and his team recently took care of our BMW X5 F15.
They installed a System 3+ and a Ghost immobiliser in just a day. We can witness the awesome job performed on the pictures copied on the USB stick which they gave us, it is simply impressive.
Those guys are skilled + they have a passion for what they are doing = outstanding performance and customer satisfaction.
Gary was also super helpful in finding what was the best option for us with regards to what we were looking for.
A BIG thank you guys, we've never been so happy to spend time in the trafic jams :)

Great service, helpful team, knowledeable and nice people to do business with. Took a LR Defender in for a double din conversion, with the latest Pioeneer AVIC, reversing camera and beepers plus a new (higher) cubby box. Not only was the finished work done well, but the team showed me the mess of cabling under the dash they had discovered from previous modifications (presumably DIY by a past owner). Gary talked me through every aspect of the install over the phone and then again when I collected the car. The installation and the cable routing can only be described as artwork performed by people with the expertise and passion for excellence!
The audio is now simply sublime and easily the best sound reproduction I have heard in any car to date.
It was worth the drive to Bishops Stortford and I will only use Audiofile-Incar in the future for my cars.
