The call centre operative who dealt with my booking was curt and was script- focussed rather than customer focussed. She failed to offer a courtesy car or a collection/delivery service. The service check-in process was automated, allegedly a COVID precaution. So touching a screen multiple times was supposed to be safer than using a pen to sign the agreement. I disagree with this and would have preferred to stick to a personal check in process. I had questions about the service/MOT so I needed to speak with the service department anyway. I asked if the car could be ready by 4pm, which they agreed to. I received a phone call at 2pm to let me know the service and MOT were complete. I was advised further work was recommended, which I agreed to. When I arrived to collect the car at 4, , it was an automated check out process. The computer explained the car wasn’t ready. Turns out the additional work hadn’t been started. I was then told that further work was now also being advised. Why all this wasn’t explained when I was called at 2 is quite odd and led to a poor customer experience. In the end, all things being considered, I decided to postpone the additional work. Having said that, the service department advisors were polite and helpful.

IF ONLY NO STARS OR MINUS STARS WERE POSSIBLE Service visit on week beginning 29th March. Really dreadful service and awful customer service values by the MINI Service department. Where do I start? 1. Mini 5 door Hatch 15 Reg booked for annual service 2. Daughter turns up with Mum to collect car and literally got attacked verbally 3. Mini Service lady verbally aggressive to my 22 year old daughter 4. Repeated several times that my daughter had not responded to texts and calls re update on her car. Daughter and Mum repeatedly said no calls had come in. 5. Turns out that Chandlers MINI Hailsham Service department had got the wrong number as they had mixed up the digits for my daughter's mobile phone number. 6. Service lady continued to argue despite confirmation that they had made the mistake. And no apology! Whatever happened to putting customer first. 7. My daughter's car had only had "visual service" with nothing of substance done, besides perfunctory oil change 8. MINI Hailsham charged my daughter over £160. for the piss poor service 9. To add insult to injury, the car was not even put through a car wash or cleaned as it's the usual MINI service values. This experience leaves a very sour taste in the mouth. We're a family of multiple MINI and BMW owners. This is the worst service ever encountered of any car dealership.Next time, we'll drive for over 50 miles from our East Sussex village to CHANDLER'S MINI Service in Littlehampton, West Sussex, where the quality and service are second to none! Qualities which mirror MINI values that we've all known and cherish.

Parts department were excellent. Rang up to get hold of an obscure part for 17 year old BMW Mini. It wasn't in stock but they had got hold of one by 3pm the same day. Reception team were helpful and friendly. Thanks!

Did ok diagnosing issue with brakes, but did not fix two other lesser issues with Radio/cd not working and rattle from dashboard when changing air flow. Have rebooked again. I was also surprised no call from sales after expressing possible change of vehicle. Salesman gave me his contact and asked ME to call him. Not the usual high standard that I have had from this garage.

I always bring my MINI to Chandlers. Not only for the exceptional workmanship for my beloved MINI, but mostly for the outstanding customer service. Yesterday I was blown away as I got my appointment mixed up but they still managed to squeeze me in, happily and without making me feel like an inconvenience. The young gentleman who helped was incredible. Genuinely. He even saved me a few pennies advising that I didn’t need the major service that I thought that I did. If I had gone else where I would have ended up spending more money. The waiting area is so comfortable, clean, with wifi and coffee. And to top it off, you’re surrounded by MINI’s! Great job guys, keep it up!

Our 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S had its first service yesterday 28 August 2020 at Chandlers Mini Hailsham. I chose to have a loan car which was a 20 registration Mini automatic. I arranged to book our car in a 8.00 am and was seen promptly so was easily able to get to work 14 miles away by 8.35 am. I was phoned to say that the service had been completed around 11.00 am and collected it after work at 5.30 pm. Chandlers gave it a complimentary valet. All in all a very satisfactory experience.

Have been good in the past but previous service they said car needed two litres of oil which was charged for. Within a week the oil light came on going around a roundabout and I had to top with two litres of oil! Compensated for by free MOT. This service said they would give courtesy car wash. It didn't happen and the footwells had stones in. Gone a bit downhill for me lately.

My first time here today. I received superb service when attending for an MOT. Clean safe space to wait in with a friendly efficient receptionist. Common sense meant that a fault was fixed before testing and my old car sailed through. I will use this garage in future.

Very friendly and professional staff. Health check : please let's have less info on the tyres and brake pads on the video. But, plenty of info on the state of the engine. Eg: consumption, condition, efficiency, catalytic converter and exhaust emissions please.

Genuinely appalling. Wouldn’t give me a courtesy car, collected my car and used all of my fuel. Wouldn’t put me through to the correct department so that I could log a complaint. One week later, my car is being recovered because it’s dumped a load of oil. Clearly, the service has not been done properly. I will not be using their service again and strongly recommend others don’t either.

I had such an easy time choosing my car with you. Rhiannon was fantastic and showed me quite a selection of Minis. She was happy to help even though I was rather indecisive and there was no rush, or pressure to choose anything straight away. Despite this I chose a car and walked away a very happy customer. Rhiannon was nothing other than helpful and she made the whole process a dream!

Our mini is 20 months old and has done 17k miles. The clutch has gone. We took it to Chandlers Hailsham thinking it would be covered under warranty. They won’t cover it and want £3k to fix it! It should be covered, we care for our cars. They have not even offered to contribute anything to the extortionate cost! We’ve been driving manual cars for over 35 years and never had a clutch wear out at such low mileage. In fact we’ve only had one new clutch on a Renault that had done £120k miles. So sad and the stress it’s causing is unbearable.

Excellent service. Derek Ashford, of the Service Management Team was quite outstanding in managing my expectations. The Engineers involved in the replacement of the defective timing chain that involved the complete removal of the engine, also deserve a mention as they not only did the work but spotted the fault whilst undertaking a routine service. Great service from Chandlers again.
