When I purchased some cases of wine there was some teething problems. The wine didn’t arrive. Naturally I was nervous but after speaking to the floor manager. He assured me he would deal with it personally. He kept me informed throughout. The damage was located and placed in my account. Very happy

We were approached by these last year, but I was not ready to do my research about them until now. Thanks god we did it! If you are really serious about any type of investments, you really need to spend a bit of time in checking who is the company that claims in helping you to ‘invest’. Specially on wine investments, do your research about wine investment scams and what are the strategies mostly used. How did they approach you is also very important. Check their company data on Companies House. How many years they’ve been trading for? look at their accounts balance sheet. Check their directors’ names and google these names too. It is always a good practise to research what is on the net about them. Do check if the directors own other companies; do they have any other companies with similar sounding names? 100% of this research is free and available to anyone. I would also suggest to run a CCJ check via trustonline.org.uk and also check their directors… you might get a surprise!. At most, that will only cost you a few pounds but could save you thousands more. Do not be fooled by a few testimonials or reviews, not even by my own right here. Do your own research and make your own conclusions. I have made my research, and I am certainly not investing a penny via this company.

Explained that I had not invested in wine before. I was told the various different ways that I could inform myself through articles and books on wine. They recommended I do this first. I found this very helpful and impressive. I purchased 2 cases without a hiccup.

These companies should be regulated.. Do your research. Allegedly trying to silence people by keeping quiet or giving a good voice. Search what’s the independent articles written about them on the net!

Called calling asking to invest there and then. Global Wine Exchange Ltd is insolvent! recorded losses on first year and they have various articles talking about how they been dissing people. Included Tony Hetheringon. Legal charges recorded against them. Seemingly 'Advising people to invest in wine'...Tony and others have constantly asked how they claim to have wine investment experience...questions that never got answered. I read by a previous alleged victim that Global Wine Exchange bank account got frozen, trading standard issues too, and people wanted to sue the Director directly. They got forced out to change virtual address. GW Exchange Limited is registered in Kemp House, NOT Global Wine Exchange Limited. Very careful and do make sure you consult those articles and seek advise from people who really deal with wine investments companies. As I read by someone else: Avoid like the plague!

I checked the value of the wines I was interested in, as recommended to me before purchases. Everything checked out. Received my wine with no issues.

I did not buy anything through Global Wine but felt compelled to comment as the staff member I spoke to was extremely helpful and continued to answer my questions despite knowing I wasn’t investing in wine at this time. I told him to try back in 6 months.

Cold calling individuals, found out doing some research that even after all the allegations about breaching ICO rules they are still calling people from ‘databases’, as they describe on recruitment posts for salesmen. These sort of ‘investment’ companies should become regulated

Despite not buying anyone at first a helpful member of the team helped me locate my wine first at no cost. Then helped me to sell it on. Fantastic!

So much for someone who cold called us to 'make money investing'....only costed me £6 to find out. Thanks for the tip These companies should be regulated and called out more.

Scammers - see Tony Hetherington's article in the Mail on Sunday for 16 February, and how they tried to get a ripped off customer to keep quiet. Disgusting outfit.

Cold calling individuals who have registered on the Telephone Preferencing Service service is a breach of OFCOM rules and regulations. You have breached those rules. What a morally devoid comp you are.

Global WIne Exchange are the sort of company who cold call people who are registered with the telephone preference service and use selling techniques encountered a lot when speaking to scammers, not that I'm saying they are such of course.
