Very poor service. I ordered two pairs but only one arrived - lens in wrong frames - having to wait for another two weeks for a different second pair to arrive. Wouldn’t come here again. Have made official complaint on their web-based system but have no confidence that they’ll do anything. When you pay over £400 you expect far better service. I think they should be required to compensate. I have already completed detailed form as requested.

If I was rating the staff I would have given this store 5 stars. They couldn't be more helpful and friendly, and everyone is complying with Covid regulations. However, they are currently charging £75 for thinner lenses per pair of glasses! So if you want to take advantage of the buy one get one free you have to pay an extra £150. If you opt for one pair of glasses they reduce the cost of thinner lenses to £20. This seems very unfair and a bit of a rip off to me. I don't like writing poor reviews, as I prefer to see the positive in businesses and people, but these seem outrageous charges in my opinion. Very disappointed in Specsavers.

What a pleasent change compared to 2 years ago when staff were rude and patronising. Went there this morning at 10:00 AM for an OCT scan and Eye check.There has been a lot of improvement since my last visit 2 years ago.

Very friendly and effective team. They helped me through my glasses selection process (and were very patient with me) 4 months later I mistakenly bent the glasses frame, took it back and they fixed with within 2 minutes. Thank you for the great service

Garshia is an asset to this store with her unparalleled patience and professionalism. She made sure my glasses fitted me perfectly. I usually struggle to get the best fit for my glasses but she took the time to precisely measure my face and didn't rush me at all. I will definitely be returning to this store for as long as she is still here. If you want to be guranteed the best service from any Opticians, just ask to be served by Garshia.

I had a day off work and had lots to do. I booked an optician appointment online with Specsavers for that day. It was the first time I had been to this branch. It is a busy popular store. The staff were excellent there were a good selection of frames. Staff helped give an objective view when choosing frames. A good experience. A text or e mail to say specs were ready for collection would be helpful. Although specs were ready on time about 1 week later.

Great store, friendly, efficient, great service. The team are passionate about their role and the job they do. The level of customer service was spot on, I left with a great pair of Kylie specs which I love, I love my specs so much I will go back and get another pair. Lovely professional team all round. After my eye test & choosing new frames & lenses I came back a week later & when I tried them on it transpired the wrong lenses had been put in, which resulted in waiting another few days whilst this was corrected. Why was the prescription not checked as an audit to make sure they had put right lenses in before I went to collect. On a positive note, it's great to have a local opticians, however there doesn't seem to be enough staff & you wait ages for someone to see you, but the staff are lovely

I have been going to Specsavers in Wallington since it opened over ten years ago. I have always received an outstanding service from all the staff. They are extremely professional, courteous and helpful. My contact lens deliveries are always timely. They are very good at reminding me about when my checks are due and always trying to help with special offers. Amber in particular has always been exceptional. I would recommend them highly.

I’ve been to many opticians but this one really surpasses all of them. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I was nervous before my test but they made me feel at ease. The advice I was given was extremely helpful and they actually listen rather than rush you. I’ll definitely be coming again :-) Thank you!!

Lost my glasses yesterday and called in for a last minute appointment, i was told to come in and I will be seen. I collected my new glasses today. Super friendly service and special mention to all the staff especially the young lady who did frame selection on an ipad (super impressed as I've never seen anything like it), I would highly recommend this store. I have used this store for some years and everything was fine, last year we had a bit of a hickup but the store eventually sorted it out satisfactorily. Made my appointment on line as usual arrived a couple of minuites early was greeted warmly and asked to take a seat, then after waiting 10 minuites i was told there would be a delay of 20 minuites! Not good. disappointed

Shockingly terrible customer service. My trial pair of contact lenses have been delayed for over a week. I've been calling the store every day for 8 days now, each time to be told someone would call back, only noone calls back ever. I've never seen anything like it before. Just plain rudeness! Meanwhile I'm paying direct debit for lenses that I don't even have. The last pack I paid for is unusable. My glasses have an out of date prescription and I'm currently wearing a random pair of lenses I had in a previous trial, also not the right prescription. My eyesight is suffering the longer I don't have my new lenses. I'm literally at the end of my tether.

At least 2 weeks after ordering my contacts I had still heard nothing from the store. This wouldn’t be an issue, had I had been dealt with properly afterwards. I called the store, but no one was able to tell me where they were, or if/when they would be in store. I called again on another day, and was told that the person who dealt with the lenses was not there, so they still could not give me any information. I called again 2 days later, only to be told that they person who dealt with contacts was the only one who could open the delivery, so they could not tell me if my lenses were there. I was assured that I would be called back before 12pm, but this call was never made, and no voicemail was left. I went into the store 2 days later and the staff could not find my contact lenses. They said they would speak to someone about it, and asked me to leave my number. At this point was going to get a train to work away for a week. I finally received a voicemail stating that my lenses were in fact in store and that I could come and pick them up. By this point I was on a train. Thoroughly disappointed as I have never had such poor service from the 4 other Specsavers I have been to. I have emailed them to complain and if their compensation is not satisfactory I will be switching to Vision Express

Whether you receive good customer service or not is up to the staff member you talk to. There is one in particular who has spoken to myself and other customers with utmost rudeness. Their sister store in Sutton has much nicer people there. That being said, the majority of their staff are friendly and professional.

Went to this branch in Wallington on Tuesday 2nd January 2018 and my glasses - lenses were not fitted correctly as the lady (Brazilian lady) checked my glasses against the chart and they were not done properly. Another member of staff (male) done this in December, however he did not size them up correctly and now I have to wait 10 working days until I can go back there to collect my glasses. Need to get it right, first time every time and be more efficient so that the customer is happy as the money for my glasses went out of my account straight away!. This is my last time using 'Spec Savers' although the optician (pleasant pregnant lady) do a very thorough test and was pleasant and professional, I feel that I will be returning to 'Boot's opticians as I never had a problem with them since I started wearing glasses. Spec Savers need to take more attention to detail and 'Get it right' 'FIRST TIME EVERY TIME'.

After six weeks waiting for my son's specs with no phone call I go in to collect them and they only have one pair they couldn't find his other pair that I took in. Bearing in mind this was only a repair to both specs. Not the first time this has happened. Very disappointing

Went to my appointment I go every year because of Diabetes they say I now need glasses for driving but funny when I went to hospital for eye test they said I don’t need them for driving now are they selling you glasses when you don’t need them won’t be using them again robbers
