Was tested incorrectly first visit therefore glasses prescription incorrect. Had to wait a few weeks for retest. Found out my prescription hadn't changed, asked for a refund but as paid cash couldn't refund me by same method. A member of staff delivered cash to my home when they had it...shocking they couldn't refund to my card. Second optician tested thoroughly but I had to ask for manager to get matters resolved. I incurred 4 visits to this branch whereas it should have only been 1 visit for testing only. Warning...if you have a late appointment they rush you and this is not good customer service.

Very poor service, my child had to see an optician and although the did all the test and even encouraged her to get glasses. They refuse to give us the prescription we have asked three times. Essentially we either buy any future glasses from them or go else where and do new testing. There is not much difference with the glasses which make me question the need of why they prescribed them, and their policy of not telling customers the strength is very unique to their branch. Dreadful experience, now having to re book test else where. Be warned!

Ghastly service. I had an eye test here and the glasses were unusable. Purchased glasses for my son, having been advised they’d fit and they were too small. Gave them one last try and they failed miserably. Advised on two pairs of glasses for our son then told, when visiting to see the Optician, that the arms weren’t long enough to bend around my son’s ears. Made an appointment to see the Optician and even phoned to confirm on way but when arrived, at time agreed, was told that the two Opticians had gone home! Asked to come back, for a third visit, next week. How many mistakes can one Opticians make? Needless to say we won’t be using them again!

Had an eye test done last week and had a great experience, they had tried something called a frame styler on an iPad (very hi-tech and impressive) as I couldn’t figure what suited me as there is such a huge range of frames. The styler narrowed it down to 2 pairs and I got a 3rd pair today after picking my first 2 pairs up. Very happy. Thank you so much

Terrible customer service from the moment I walked in the door, if I wasn't so pressed for time I would have walked out and gone somewhere else. I really wish I had, as it has cost me more time in the long run.
-arrived 10mins early as requested, waited for 5mins before anyone even spoke to me and another 20mins on top of that to be seen,
-Was told to come in lunch time on Friday of the following week. Thought I had better ring first just to make sure on the day.
-rang at 10:30, was told I would be rang back in 30mins, 4.5hrs later still no phone call.
-Rang back to check was told the technician would be back in 20mins so he would give me an update in 30mins. 1.5hrs later still no phone call.
-rang them again, to be told sorry but I got bogged down with something else, so he went of to check, came back and told me lenses not arrived, so not ready, but would ready Monday and he would ring me.
-No call on Monday, rang them Wednesday to be told that 2 of the 4 lenses I had ordered had been sent back but I could pick the other 2 up today.
-I asked why I had not been informed of this why do I keep having to ring them.....it went quiet!!!

No I won't be going back here again. Had my test done got glassed, they were wrong had to wait for 2 weeks, had another test much better compleated different, I only need glasses for driving, then they say I'll ring you, they never do.

I would warn all customers to avoid this store at any cost. The opticians are great but the management and staff are atrocious, especially the manager of the store. The store is dirty and unwelcoming and very unorganised. My contacts lenses were delayed by 6 months and I was denied a refund.
I was oversold on glasses by the staff who didn't help me choose frames and were chatting. The machines in the store are not modern at all. Stay away!

I really don't know how anyone goes into this store or any other specsavers.
I've waited 2 months for contact lenses to try and have been completely ignored and haven't call me back to say they have arrived. I could go in but the one star says it all.
