I just stopped in on a Tuesday to get my car serviced due to a recall. I wanted to check out the new Sonata 2021 so I asked to look at several diff vehicles. Michael Chisley was most gracious and patience while I debated on trim models and colors. After Michael's final car sale proposal how could I resist such a great deal on a great car! Flew from Denver to pick up a rare single cab Tacoma. Navarre took my down payment over the phone to hold it and was very accommodating to all my over the phone questions and constant phone calls. He had someone pick me up from the airport in the truck I was interested in and let me test drive it back to the dealership. I can't recommend him enough. #NeedACarNavarre

I had heard a ton of advertising about customer service and Don Franklin giving the most for trade ins. From my experience, it's far from the truth. I had received quotes from two other dealers about the equity of my vehicle and Don Franklin was 2k less than the other two. The finance guy tried to tell me a lease wasn't for me because I was 'Over my current allotment for my existing vehicle.' That's false...I'm 3,200 in the green. I called him out on it and he seemed baffled. I'm a guy that knew my payoff and a really good estimate for what my car was worth. Not someone who had no clue about how the process works. Then the salesman told me the vehicle that I wanted was not in my price range. I respected that, and proceeded along with my day. The salesman did tell me to text or call if I had any questions or wanted to reconsider. I text him later in the day about some other scenarios to make the payment work (financing the base trim model instead of the higher trim) no response after two separate inquires. If he were a good salesman he would have at least responded back. Maybe even state that there were three used options on the lot in the trim I wanted. Perhaps I would have been interested, as they did fit my price range. I have now been searching for a used model in that trim and I'm close to purchasing from another Nissan dealer. I expected more from one of the larger Nissan dealerships.

Great experience from the sales team all the way to finance. We went to the Lexington Kentucky location. No hassling or feeling like your being taken advantage of. We bought 2 vehicles 2 weeks apart. My truck was in London Ky and they had it there in 2 1/2 hours for me to look at. Misty Roberts was our sales rep she is great. She spent a lot of time making sure we were happy with the car and kept my kids occupied. If she's not there talk to J Bond (007) he is awesome too. He doesnt hound you over a sale either. Tevis is a manager on the floor he is great. I didn't have to spend 3 hours on the lot trying to negotiate price. Everything was fair from the start. And James Anderson is in finance he is quick and detail oriented to get you out quickly with the best option for financing. We will be doing business with these guys for a long time. If you are looking for a vehicle they probably have it on one of their lots. Don't waste time with other lots.

I would not go here for tint at all , I had my windows tinted & not even a full month later my windows began squeaking & making a terrible noise when I rolled them up or down. I tried reaching & asked for them to look into this bc when I got the car this was not a problem at all (considering my car is 2020 & I’m the first owner ) upon reaching out I was ignored then finally got a reply saying my motors in my door was broke ... which is a lie bc the car is brand new I paid $200 for a windshield strip & 2 windows to be tinted . I basically got robbed & pushed away cause they didn’t care & never tried to make the situation right . I WOULD NOT go here for tint not even for a damn car wash.

I've worked with many Don Franklin employees in both Nissan and Buick GMC and their customer service never ceases to amaze me!! Not only do they have an amazing selection of new and pre-owned vehicles, but they truly go above and beyond to get you quality, speedy, service whenever you need it! I purchased oil from them for my Nissan. It was the wrong oil. I never opened the oil and is still in the box. They would not accept a return of the oil. Awful. Awful. Awful. I just wasted $80. Thanks a lot.

I had a bad experience with the Hyundai service manager. He argued with me about my lug nut key they lost. Told me they didn't use it and one of the reception techs asked me for it to use it. I know their names but not saying. This has changed my mind about the kind of people in Hyundai service department. He was rude and tried to make me think I lost it. I know the truth and so does he. Never going back to Don Franklin Hyundai.

After I agreed to preliminary terms on a deal and gave them permission to run my credit, they ran my credit six times without telling me. I got six hard hits on my credit unbeknownst to me. Although I’m sure this place helps some people, I don’t think they served me well at all.

This is to the service department on Richmond Rd. Will never recommend them again. Screw people seeking regular maintenance! Requested an email back to what I agreed to but still haven't received it. Took total advantage of me today! Both people we spoke to were incredibly rude and would not let you explain, just talk over you and to my husband also. I need to speak with the manager as soon as possible. I was ripped off big time, go in for a simple oil change with a 50.00 coupon, come out with services never signed for. $350 for 2 hours of labor is a joke. This was very unprofessional to a loyal customer. Never was I explained to that my fuel injectors needed to be cleaned with a $9.00 bottle of chemicals and a $120.00 fee to pour it in. Plus a complete transmission flush and change. All for a simple oil change appointment. Unbelievable!

I scheduled a time to test drive a vehicle on their website fir the Lexington location.The website let me schedule it a half hour before the sales department even opened. Once I realized that I waited on the lot until 9am and called the number they had posted all over the lot due to COVID. I informed the person I talked to where I was parked, color and make of my vehicle that I was sitting in due to rain, I also informed them of the vehicle I was interested in. After 25 minutes no one came by. I called the number again, was told they would have a salesmen come out, another ten minutes and no one came by. I even stood next to the vehicle I was looking to purchase, a $30k price tag. Nothing. Called back and explained I had now been there 34 minutes after opening, and made two calls describing where I was parked and which vehicle I was interested in. Third person I talked to asked me to go into Hyundai office and wait on manager. Really? The hold message for phone calls talk about respect and trust. If you can respect my time why should I trust you? I indicated this to person who took my call, they indicated manager would call me back. Let me please note that I had test driven a similar car and it would have been a choice between the one on the Don Franklin lot and another lot. I was ready to buy. I wrote this review an hour after I last called the dealership. NO CALL FROM MANAGER YET. If you value your time, AVOID this dealership. If you want to be treated with RESPECT go elsewhere.

I'm speaking on behalf of my own experience in the used car sales department. I drove 2 hours to come test drive and purchase a 2016 Toyota Tacoma Dbl Cab TRD 4x4 Sport (STOCK # GX039867 VIN # 5TFCZ5ANXGX039867) I'm sure if you check their inventory, they will still have this truck bc nobody in their right mind would spend $29,900 on this vehicle. The pictures shown on their website (all 32 of them) didn't show one blemish whatsoever. Upon arrival, they said to hang tight, that they were trying to locate a jump box to get the truck started. This was my first clue. Once they got the truck to the front door, I did a 360 walk-around. Major scratch after major scratch. Rust on front roll bar. Driver side front bumper showing collision damage. Bedliner in the truck looked as if a dog had chewed on it in several areas. I could continue but I'm sure you get the drift. This is a very misleading ad for a truck thats hard to find as its a manual. Dont mislead your customers. Post pictures of what youre really trying to sell and come back to reality on your price. If you don't, anyone reading this can search your site for this truck and go have a look for themselves. Thank you for irritating me so bad to leave my first Google review. Too bad I can't say much good.

The bait and switch is alive and well at this dealership. We drove over 5 hours to get there because of a price quoted via text and when we arrived even though they printed up the conversation between my husband and the associate they said they couldn't meet the quoted price. Oh, they only offered to fill our gas tank for the 5 1/2 hour ride home. Then to top it off I noticed they lowered the price of the vehicle and here it is only 2 days later. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Only rated them as a 1 because -5 was not available. My wife was in continuous contact with salesperson to be un-named at the Hyundai dealership. We found a pre-owned vehicle we were very interested in and probably would have bought. Communicating by text with sales person, last text to make sure the vehicle we wanted was there at 3:45pm. Wife drove over 2 hours to only be told that that vehicle sold between 1pm-2:30pm but "we have another vehicle you may be interested in. We will even lose money on it." BS!!!!!! No one loses money on deals. They knew the vehicle sold but wasted our time anyways to try and make another sale. They did not give a damn about the customer's time or money spent to drive there.

1. Make sure the vehicle your purchasing has ALL the options as advertised. 2. Make sure the vehicle has 2 keys (key fobs will cost $200+). 3. Make sure it has all the Manuals/toolkits it comes with new. 4. Beware they charge $640 for documentation fees. 5. DO NOT finance through them. They charge a loan fee of $215. If you pay the loan off early they will charge you $395. My credit score is 860 and have never seen doc fees even close to this or been charged a loan fee. A honest dealership would have highlighted these fees. Proceed with caution... I would have better off to fill my wife’s car with gas and headed 3 hour to home than end up with a car and a loan which I'm not happy with. Just another greasy used car lot than will take advantage of anyone they can.

My mother and father-in-law were looking at a really nice truck that they had and when they wouldn't negotiate on the price and my in-laws said they weren't interested anymore they got chewed out and passed over to somebody else that worked at the dealership that chewed them out and turned into a big yelling match. So if you like getting yelled at and like paying full price, then by all means visit Don Franklin Auto Mall. Also they were told they could leave a refundable deposit on a truck and if they didn't end up liking it they would get the money back. And then during the argument they were told that they weren't getting their money back.

Good Lord, how can one dealership have so many people that don't seem to be able to do a simple job? First the listing has wrong information in it, mentioning attributes to the vehicle that are not true. Found this out on my third attempt to secure photos. Secondly I called to ask for additional photos, and was told there was plenty on the site I was looking at. Said I wanted more when asking for additional photos, and she said they would send some. Third, they email a finance sheet. Um... thanks, but this is a cash sale. Called back and asked to speak to the GM as the first lady who I had to ask didn't communicate properly with the manager who sent the term sheet. Called back and asked for the GM, was told he would b a few minutes, I said I would hold for the GM, they put me though to his voice mail. Hung up and called back immediately and got put through to him. Asked him to email photos. Got texts. Advised that I had asked for them to be texted as I was attempting to buy three trucks and wanted to keep things organized. Got email finally. No sunroof. Sent a photo of the listing where it said sunroof/moonroof. Was told they didn't know what site it was on. So I will continue to do my search for the trucks I want, and they helped me narrow down dealerships to avoid.

I recently bought a Nissan Rogue from Don Franklin Lexington Nissan. The initial experience was a good one, with a sales person coming up to us quickly and discussed our needs. He could think of some options off the top of his head, and later walked us into his office and went over some possible matches. There was a beautiful car located in Somerset, KY that we loved, and wanted it brought up. It took almost an hour longer to get there than was told to us, but when we took a look inside, it reeked of cigarette smoke, basically as if the associate was smoking on the way to the Lexington dealership. This, in addition to some outside scratches and upholstery issues, were not disclosed to us beforehand. It was an amazing car, and credit to Don Franklin for running quality maintenance, so I ended up purchasing the car on the condition that the smoke smell be removed and the other issues worked out. I wanted to leave with the car that day, but they wanted to "really do a good job on the smoke smell," so I left it overnight. I came back the next day, hoping that most of it would be gone, but it smelled almost the same as the day before, like they just left it in the shop with the windows rolled down. In addition to that, they had said the gas tank was all filled up, but it was not, and there were no floor liner mats either. Overall, the process wasn't horrible, but with my experience, I would be hesitant to recommend buying a car from Don Franklin. I'm going to take the car in again this week, and I will update to four stars if the service is high quality and all the issues are taken care of, because they will have satisfied all aspects of my needs. UPDATE: Don Franklin went the extra mile to ensure the smell was removed and upholstery fixed, and in addition provided floor liners and offered to fill up the gas tank. I appreciate their effort and am a satisfied customer, and will be much more likely to recommend them. Special thanks to salesman Gary, who made it a priority to get this done right!

Well, that was disappointing. I arrived 15 minutes early for my 8:00am appointment. The service rep asked if I was staying or dropping the car off. I asked how long he thought the oil change and tire rotation would. take...60 - 90 minutes was his response. I was surprised and asked again. Same answer. So...yep...he was correct. Actually I drove out of there 100 minutes later. I have no issue with the people or the quality of the service performed...I'm presuming they did everything at an appropriately high level...but as I reflect on this experience I guess my learning is that even with an appointment, a large operation like this is simply not going to prioritize a small transaction like an oil change and tire rotation. I have (many) times accomplished this same task in my own garage with rather basic tools in 20 minutes. Likewise I have used the 'drive through' oil change services that accomplish the same in usually 15 minutes or so. I know it can be done in less time, much less time in fact. Next time, I'll make a different choice.

3 years ago We bought a 2012 Ford expedition from DON FRANKLIN FORD in London Ky. They told my wife my son and my self that as long as We get the oil changed at a Don Franklin dealership.we will have a drive train warranty. We have a bearing going bad in the front differential. I went to Don Franklin in Lexington and London. I was told that I had to have all my maintenance done at a Don Franklin dealer ship. That is not what I was told. They lie and mislead you to get you to buy from them. We did not get to test drive the vehicle we were buying. I would not reccomend Don Franklin Ford in London Ky to anyone. Go else where.
