I am nearly 60, and this was the first time I ever purchased a car on my own. I test drove cars at several dealerships, but I came back to Don Franklin Lexington Hyundai to buy my car. Michael Chisley was so helpful in making sure I got the right car for my needs without pressuring me to make the purchase. And once I signed the paperwork, their work was not done. Kelvyn scheduled time with me to go over all the features in my new car so I wouldn't have to spend hours reading the manual to figure out how to set up everything. The folks at Don Franklin have made this a 5-star experience!

Everybody I worked with or interacted with was incredibly friendly. Marcel was great and worked with me to leave with the car I wanted for a price I could afford. He was patient, respectful, and clearly dedicated to helping me the best way possible. Buying a car is always stressful, but this experience was as stress-free as it could have been. I love my new Hyundai, and so does my fiancée! Thanks to Marcel and all the people at Don Franklin.

I had talked with Stacey and planned to meet about a vehicle. We made an appointment, she didn't tell me the vehicle wouldn't be there, and I drove 1.5 hours expecting to buy the vehicle. Well, I was already there, so Stacey sent me to meet with her manager Eric. Eric sent me to another salesman who arranged to have a van delivered for us the following day from Somerset. We are a one-vehicle family, and because my husband needed ours the following day, I made arrangements with my father in front of the salesman who wanted to make sure I did before he made arrangements on his end. Everything was great! They'd have the van cleaned up and ready by 1 when I arrived. Meanwhile, I text Stacey to ask for the link to our van. She sends it at 10:30am, and she asks when I'll be coming in. I told her my appointment was for 1, but I might be running a little late. She said she would need more notice to get the vehicle from Somerset! I told her the van was already supposed to be there and ready by the time I got there. She said she just talked to her manager, and the Somerset dealership sold the van the night before. The night before?? Then, why was I not informed the night before making my father drive from his home to bring me to my appointment??? Ridiculous to do this to people, yet I've seen other comments like this one. No, I will not look at your other inventory, Stacey. What good would it do if I'm not the one fortunate enough to make the deal first?

Blake (Service Rep) and Matt Gray(Grey) the Manager has always been honest, upfront, and genuine with me since day one. I had my vehicle serviced here since I bought the vehicle. They have been everything opposite you hear about a car dealership, these guys/ladies have always treated me and my vehicle with utmost respect. You are truly more than just customer number 21345009 at Don Franklin - very customer centered. I had my transmission replaced in my vehicle due a defect but they gave me a renal for entire month. They didn't charge me anything due to warranty - which is normal but additionally they touched up a scratch. I would strongly recommend.

Hey my name is Jessica ! I just wanted to let you know about my experience at don franklin, chad givens has been so amazing and helpful in communicating. I’m working on a deal right now with them in hopes that it will workout . My credit isn’t the best and I’m trying to rebuild it but if it doesn’t workout I will for sure be back eventually to hopefully be approved. There customer service is the best . Bought two work vans from here and a Cadillac. You would think they would want to make their repeat customers happy. I trusted them to order me some parts and paid a premium price for generic products. All I wanted was my money back and the service manager wouldn't even call me back. We buy multiple vehicles every year for our company and it won't be at any of your dealerships anymore. Accompanied my daughter today to look for a “new to her car”. Although she had her eyes on a Kia that she had seen online, we spent most of the afternoon with her salesman, Devon Stone, asking questions, looking and test driving different vehicles. Don’t get fooled by the refer a friend they speak of. I bought a vehicle in December and then sent my mother in law there April 2019 and was told because it was hard to get the deal done for my mother in law that I would not get the referral fee check. That’s ridiculous. It was never said that it had to be a straightforward easy deal. I will NEVER tell anyone to come to this lot if I am not given what was promised to me! I don’t care what the deal was, I did my part. I would love to have a corporate person contact me and explain how this is right. The salesman wanted a good review though, I will refrain from mentioning him.

My family drove over an hour on New years Day to purchase a Hyundai Tuscon for an advertised 19995. We spoke to internet sales over the phone, and they assured us of the price, the financing, and the availability. When we actually got their the floor salesman raised the price, would not honor the 0% financing promotion and oh by the way the car was actually being repaired in the body shop! Really horrible experience. I would rather pay more money and buy a car from a trustworthy dealer. SHAME!.

I don't even want to give this place a star. Had a truck sent from Russell springs to Lexington. Made arrangements to make the 2hr drive to check it out. Was talking to the salesman Harry up until the night before going. He said he was cleaning it up and it would be ready when we got there. We arrived at 12:30 the next day. And they sold it on us before we got there. It wouldn't of even been on the lot had we not told them to move it there. Very shady doing us like that. Wouldn't recommend this place at all. Didn't get a phone call to stop us from driving down. That's how they treat the customers.

I have been a loyal customer to this dealership for several years. After meeting who I thought was the most honest salesman that I'd had ever had any dealings with I was sold. I started doing all my business there. Between me buying 3 vehicles and my family buying 3 more, We spent alittle more than 250,000 dollars. Each purchase they advertise a 100 dollar referral check for each person that you refer to the dealership that buys a car. This last deal seems to not matter to the salesman or the dealership. It was for a 54,000 dollar truck. Its been 3 months since the deal. I have made several calls and texts to Darryl Bond the salesman with no response. I do see often on social media #referral check. At this point it's not about the money, its the principal! I can be a loyal customer and help get them business. I still get screwed! This just shows you what kind of dealership this is. We are only as good as our word, right?

From the time we stepped on the lot Jerome was so helpful. He listened to our concerned and did everything to earn our business. He was not pushy, and suggested vehicles that were in the range we were looking for, rather than over our budget. He was extremely kind and stayed with us while we waited on our mother to finish finalizing the details of her financing. By the end of the process we felt as if he was part of our family. I would highly recommend this young man for any of your dealings at Glenn, and when we are in the market for another car, he will be the man we call. His humbleness and soft demeanor was so pleasant to deal with, and that is not something you get often on a car lot.

This is the third vehicle my family has bought from the Glenn Auto Group and the second Hyundai. Each time has been a great experience. This was the second time we have worked directly with James Henderson who by the way is great. He took his time listened to what we were looking for and gave us some options. After looking for a few minutes he took us to look at a certified pre-owned Hyundai Veracruz with low mileage still looking like a brand new vehicle. After a test drive and look at the vehicle history we decided that this was the vehicle for us. As we were in a bit of a hurry to pick someone up else where he took a bit of information and started the paper work process. About 20 minutes later the finance person (Elizabeth McKinley) called me with numbers for the length of loan I was looking for and they were with in just a few dollars of what I already had in mind. After picking the kids up from school we drove back out to Glenn where James already had the vehicle fully fueled, oil changed and temp tag made up for the vehicle. I then sat down with the finance person where we talked a bit got them to make a few concessions and arrived right at the number I was looking for. The whole process could not have been better, no pressure, and efficient (at other dealers I am use to spending a great deal of time while the sales person goes back and fourth between him and his manager trying to get the best deal possible, the process at Glen is streamlined so that a buyer does not have to endure all of that mess). In all total time spent at the dealer was less than an hour. Great job Glenn Team James and Elizabeth :) *****

Contacted Ty Cobb on 12/10/18 (Monday). He said helping me shouldn't be a problem. Two days later I got a text from him saying they couldn't help for a specific reason. I tried calling and texting him all day Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday to see what he was referring too but was just ignored. Its sad they lost an excellent customer and I won't be referring anyone to them.

Went in twice over the last couple months to this dealership. Discussed two vehicles with them. Look up how used car salesmen will try to rip you off online and you’ll find that this company tries to use all the classic tricks. I am not saying don’t ever go here if they have the car you absolutely want. I am saying don’t go there unless you know what you are doing as a buyer or are prepared to pay too much and get too little for your trade in.
