Terrible terrible experience at the Loughborough branch. 0 stars if I could. Simple repair - wing dent, bumper scratch, light out of shape and alloy gouge from someone cutting across me on a roundabout. Car went here on Admirals recommendation. Twice they've told me it's ready to collect, twice I've shown up - taking time out of my job - and had to call them out on their shoddy work - lights misaligned, panel gaps all over the place, over-spray and filler all over adjacent panels. The last time I showed up, they hadn't even screwed the bumper sides back on properly and were still trying to fob me off with replacing a single tyre - I had to go back to Admiral (who've been excellent throughout, but for sending me here!) to get their engineers to tell Fix Auto you are always meant to replace an axle pair, funnily enough Admiral agreed outright. Still not fixed a whole month later, and I'm stuck with their unfit-for-purpose courtesy car to go on my summer hols. I get the feeling they gave my car to the work experience kid to put back together.
I guess in their defence, hands on staff are perfectly pleasant and the paintwork they've patched on the wing is actually a half decent job. But management are dismissive, all auxiliary work is a poor standard, and they are taking a *very* long time over it - 10 days to obtain a tyre. Yes, really. For your own sanity, take your business elsewhere.

Went here when my six month old car was keyed by a vandal, as they had repaired my previous car and done a good job. They charged me nearly £1,000 to respray two doors and a front and rear wing, basically the whole side of the car. Looked good to my untrained eye on collection, but when I part-exchanged the car a year later the dealer pointed out that the paint on the driver's door was bubbling up (it clearly was, I just hadn't looked/noticed), and knocked £500 off the part-exchange value! Not impressed at all and would think twice before using them again. Before the owner says "Why didn't you bring it back to us?", I had no time. Understandably the garage I was buying from would not wait for Fix Auto to respray it again and would have cancelled the deal and sold the car I was buying to someone else.

If you have a car accident and they say that Fix Autos is the place where they will deal with your car. Please say no I repeat say no. All they do is take in your car and in return you get more damage than you started from. My husband got referred from Admiral who have the worst customer service who recommended that they would have someone come along and collect it and drop it off to Fix Autos. All seemed all good at that point after that point it was downhill from there. They not only spoke rude and show no initiative to inform my husband about his vehicle they had no idea what was going on about his vehicle, even though he has been in a car accident and going through pain and stress. Endless calls my husband made to check what was going on with his vehicle as all they had to do was examine the crash at the rear end of his car. All they could say was we have taken car parts out to start the car when that was irreverent and inconsiderate after a week to discuss that over the phone. My husband went over to see what was going on in person and they had taken parts out of his car to start it who didn't take blame to say that they have overrided the car battery and blamed my husband after being in a car accident who had a vehicle working in good condition before the crash. It was one thing after another excuses and denial not to own up what they had caused and done to the vehicle, let alone all the stress for him and for me. All they had to do was check the damage that had occurred and they hadn't even done that. I'm really disgusted on there customer service and work provided throughout it. I repeat avoid going here for any kind of work.

Poor work on my Civic Type S a few years ago (front-end damage insurance repair). Still finding out new things that were bodged. Paint drips on wing, grille was super-glued instead of replaced, bumper rivets/plugs lost, panels not screwed back in, etc. Was a few years ago, maybe things have improved since then, but wouldn't go back.
