Took my rollator to see if they could adjust my brakes. John from the cycle dept. checked the brakes and found that the fault lay with the lever mechanism which he could not repair. Despite spending over an hour trying to repair the fault they would not charge me. Halfords are 5 star in my book.

I used to find Halfords in Loughborough a helpful and trustworthy store, but now I've changed my mind. I went in for a car light bulb. I was twice given the wrong advice about which one to buy, and ended up making three visits to get it fixed. The fitter was excellent but the advice was careless and unreliable and wrong.
Further, when I went to pay, I was asked for my email address "to send me a receipt". Turns out that this was actually to send me marketing emails, but this was not mentioned.
I do not like being misled, so two stars.

Advertised the grade of tyre they were selling incorrectly on their website. (They supplied an older non-ECO model) and refuse to correct the mistake. The manager of the Autocentre can see the problem but HQ will not authorize them supplying and fitting the correct tyres!

very rude lady who was serving on the desk at 3.14pm on 11.12.18. I had reserved an item which I went to collect and she couldn't find my item and I said I have travelled from Leicester to pick up the item and knw you are saying you haven't got it in store. She just said it's not my fault it's the company's fault who sent you the msg. I haven't... disappointed at Halfords having such kind of staff working for them.

booked online, took car in for service and mot, a bit wary after reading stories of chain garages ripping people off, but they went above and beyond in helping, even to fitting my mot in preservice so I didnt have to wait longer. excellent price , service superb, first time ive used Halfords but would recommend loughborough branch everytime
