A routine trip for oil was much improved by the friendly staff. The store has been set up to allow for social distancing, there were easy to follow signs and hand cleansing was amply supplied.

Fabulous care and understanding after my brakes failed in the M1 on a busy Friday afternoon. Steve in reception was reassuring and even though there was no appointment available he fitted me in over the following day as soon as there was a cancellation. Impressed with the professional attitude and knowledge.

From the time of booking my car in for a service and MOT, the service I received was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive and very knowledgable. They made the whole process seamless, keeping me informed constantly. The price was very reasonable and I was even given life cover on my brakes.
I will definitely use Halfords again.

Husband took his bike in for a free nhs worker bike service after a night shift. He was rudely told that it would cost £120 and made to feel like a leper. Such appalling service makes me wonder if the positive reviews on here are genuine. Last year i bought my bike elsewhere after appalling service at the Loughborough store.

On line booking was fairly easy. Availability was within 3 days at anytime. The tyre fitting process was carried out at the appointed time with no problems and only took about 45 mins. All in all, an easy and pleasant experience.

Just recently had an MOT. They found some problems with the suspension and wanted to charge £700 but couldn't do the repairs until next week. After some research i found i could get the parts myself as a consumer for roughly £200-£250. I also had quotes from other garages to do the repairs + retest the MOT for £310 and do the work on a Saturday. I don't know what kind of jacked up markup Halfords thinks they can charge people but its absolutely ridiculous i was able to find the same repair for less than half the price. I certainly will never be having an MOT at Halfords again and will be boycotting them for any other goods i need.

Website says ' free 30 minute trial of e-bikes', no need to book. Sounds great, but not true. Never found staff so dismissive when I'm wanting to spend so much money in store... £4k all in - 'why would you want to trial it?' 'I know the website says you don't need to book, but the problem is you didn't book' 'But it would mean doing some safety paperwork, and we can't be bothered today'. The simple answer is that I'll take my business elsewhere, and so should you.
