I booked our car in for a full service and mot. I used the online booking service, and found this to be straight forward and easy to do.
From dropping the vehicle off in the morning, to collection later, the whole process was a professional and satisfying experience.
The small amount of work required was carried out to a very high level, the staff are knowledgeable and very approachable.
I am very happy with the whole experience, and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Big store & a decent number of staff, at times! The latter depends on whether the phones are answered too.
However the staff are kind & helpful. It's only afterwards (in this case when a bike collapsed!) you discover whether the advise given was effective or BS!
Our bike's been in there since November awaiting spares. It's now Feb. One way & another, covid has a LOT to answer for! Still, the predominantly young staff are enthusiastic & (for the most part), knowledgeable.

Properly excellent service. Fitted a difficult bike tyre with relative ease and fixed my rear derailleur which had bent. Had to pay a grand total of £0 for the job and only £4 for the inner tube. On top of that it was quick and made decent conversation while I waited. Will definitely be back if I have any problems in the future.

I ordered a windscreen wiper on line for same day fitting using my car's registration number. The technician immediately realised the recommended wiper could not be fitted due to incompatible fittings. He produced the correct wiper for my car and fitted it without difficulty. I asked if there was a price difference between it and what the database had proposed, and I was pleasantly surprised to be offered a discount for the inconvenience. Well done Halfords - your efficiency made my day.

The staff are friendly helpful and knowledgeable, but very busy, so you may struggle to find help quickly. This was a Sunday, so weekdays may be better. The stock seems to be pretty comprehensive for the car parts I was after.

Fast service, friendly staff and good job on a fair price. They took in my bike to replace frame bearings, which, in the end, took a long time, since it proved to be more difficult compared to what they expected. Nevertheless, the job is done nicely, and I did not need to pay a fortune for it. I strongly recommend the Halfords bike service.

Bought a bike from Halfords and within the week had a puncture took it in and Coner replaced the tyre filled both with a solution and altered the brakes on the spot. He was polite courteous knowledgeable and very professional. Grandson overjoyed and rode home a happy little man.

Excellent service all round, from initial enquiry call to ascertain opening times and car battery availability to shop floor assistance, battery being fitted and free check on bulbs/blades and screen. All staff extremely approachable and pleasant. Wouldn’t hesitate to return to store in future.

The mechanic who fitted my replacement headlight bulbs was brilliant. Early on a cold wet Saturday morning he was bright and cheerful. He got to work straight away and had the job done in no time. Very friendly and chatty but still totally professional. I’m really happy with the service and would recommend, saved me loads of time fiddling around under the bonnet and getting my hands dirty! ????

Cant give 0 star here unfortunately. I booked an appointment for 11.30 for some work. They rang me at 10.45ish to say the guy has rang in sick. Couldn't give me another appointment. IS the customer's time not important at all. I had to book a day off to sort this stuff and informing me at the last minute is just so unprofessional.
Its 23/03 and still haven't heard anything form them. I finally got in touch with CS via web chat. will update what happens next

Iv been in today as leicester halfords had not fitted my sons breaks properly was dealt with by Sam every quickly nice young lad checked over the bike made sure everything was where it needed to be helped me take the bike out the car and also put it back in the car happy to say my son bike is back in working order and I'm really happy with Sam as he was friendly helpful

Simply terrible. Reserved a bike while waiting for my Cycle2work letter of collection to arrive, was told this was no problem and to contact them when I recieved my LOC and they would build the bike and get it ready. Went in today with LOC in hand to be told that not only had no bike been reserved or ordered, but that it was discontinued and "I must have misunderstood what they meant" when I went in originally. I would give zero stars if I could.

Superb treatment in replacing tyres and sliming them. Job done so quickly. You cannot have better service than this!!!Sadly as I rode the bike I found the chain was slipping when I had changed gear. This became really annoying. I took the bike back and this time less than good service. When they had messed with bike I was told to try it but chain was off. I took it back in they didn’t put chain back on but said they’d have to have it in for repair. Really unhappy with this service.

I ordered a battery online and paid for it to be fitted at the Loughborough branch. The gentleman that fitted it apparently was a new employee. The wrong battery had been picked but he quickly sorted it out and fitted it for me. He was polite, efficient and a thoroughly pleasant young man. A credit to the branch.
