I had labiaplasty via the “wedge” method with Hagen 3 years ago. I could not be happier. I had this done under local anaesthetic. He is very knowledgeable and put me at ease though out the whole operation. Thank you for changing my life and my confidence.

Horrendous experience. "Cheaper" but absolutely disgusting outcome. I was in misery for over a year. Surgeon is not skilled enough to perform the surgery. Left me horribly scarred, uneven, saggy and changed functioning of the private area. He thought it was a good result and didn't take responsibility said it was my anatomy and I should see a gyno, despite me never having functioning issues before! Offered to fix some things for free, but I declined as his suggestion was to just "cut things off" .Clearly not skilled enough to do the surgery and achieve a nice result. Most women who have the surgery with him need to have revisions (I was in a group chat and saw the results!). I decided to go to Angelica Kavouni on Harley Street to get my revision done and am beyond thrilled with the results, even though I had to pay again I'm so happy I did. A truly skilled, experienced and knowledgable surgeon with a strong reputation in the industry and natural talent. Do not ever choose a surgeon based on price.

I had upper eyelid surgery because I have had issues with drooping eyelids and I can say without hesitation that Hagen was superb throughout! In the initial consultation he went out of his way to describe what the procedure would involve, the benefits, potential risks, the cost, and what to expect in the down-time after the procedure. There was no hard-sell, he gave me all the information I could want to let me make my own informed decision. Even though I am an anxious type, the procedure went very smoothly and I was able to go home after approximately 90-120 minutes. It was obvious that Hagen was expert in his field and had years of experience to rely on, which helped me a lot during the procedure. After the operation and during the recovery period, Hagen was very helpful and addressed any questions I had, even outside typical Office hours. The post-operative scars and bruising had faded after about one week to the point where they were not easy to see. I was able to return to work after only 2 weeks with very little in the way of post-operative scars. On the basis of my experience I can very highly recommend Hagen!

I have recently had surgery by Hagen Schumacher at Mulberry. After thinking of, researching and speaking to different consultants for more than 7 years, I finally found The consultant in whom I could have complete confidence. Mr Schumacher has all the skill, experience and qualifications that I was looking for - this was not unique but I was also looking for a surgeon who I didn’t find ‘scary’ or intimidating (sometimes even hairdressers make me feel like I can’t say what I want!) and would take care of me post surgery personally and not be unavailable afterwards. Mr Schumacher is always there for me, both before and most importantly post surgery, if I have any concerns or questions. He is always approachable, non judgemental and understanding. He is clear and honest about results, potential issues ... everything really. He has never been ‘pushy’ or rushed my consultations, which were free and I had two because I needed to be sure about everything. He replies swiftly and in person. He is not in the least arrogant or superior in his way and even helped the porter move me to theatre! I have been honestly so so surprised to feel so comfortable with a plastic surgeon, I am so glad to have had this experience with him. And my results? Well, so far they have been beyond what I had hoped for (it is early days) and because of his immense skill combined with how he actually really listens to his patient about what they want to achieve, I actually feel very confident that I will continue to be well cared for, happy with the results and completely comfortable to discuss any worries, questions or problems as time goes on. Finally, this testimonial reads as too good to be true, I know. I have been really surprised myself! It is how my experience has been, though, so I am not going to make it less positive. Breast augmentation performed on the 12th march 2018 and I have to say 24 hours in I am so happy with my results. Dr Schumacher is truly professional, caring and friendly from start to finish. I have only those positive things to say about my procedure. I had a breast reduction under the care of Mr Schumacher. All of my pre-op meetings were very detailed and clear and Mr Schumacher was very receptive to any questions I had. The procedure itself went smoothly and I had minimal pain afterwards. I was expecting a lot more! My post op care was once again very good. I'm very happy with the result. I only wish I'd done it sooner!

I had a breast reduction last week with dr Schumacher and I couldn't be happier. I have been putting this surgery off for a very long time. I was a 34 L and was in agony with my back, neck and shoulders. I have seen many surgeons over the years and never felt comfortable with any of them. I had extremely high anxiety about general anaesthetic and have a phobia of needles and really didn't want an IV. Anyways when I met Dr Schumacher I immediately felt at ease and very comfortable with him. I told him my worries about surgery and Dr Schumacher gave me exercises to do at home to help with anxiety for the day of surgery. On my surgery day I saw Dr Schumacher and he made me feel at ease and he made me feel really calm. I saw Dr boon who was the anesthetist and again told him my concerns and he immediately started making me laugh and made me feel really safe and comfortable with him. I went down to theatre and Dr Schumacher, Dr Boon and his assistant made me laugh up until I went to sleep, I didn't even realise that Dr Boon had put my IV in and before I knew it I was going to sleep. The whole process was a lot less painful then I imagined, it was easy and quite relaxing. I wish I had met dr Schumacher years ago, he has changed my life and I want to thank him for everything he has done for me. Highly recommend dr Schumacher
