The staff in this facility are professional, kind, and caring individuals. My Mom, 87 years old, has been there over a month and the service has bee excellent. Her nurses, Anna and Diana, are awesome. Anna personally calls me on any changes to my Mom’s health or needs. Diana makes sure I understand my Mom’s vital stats during the team meetings. Jennifer, her Social worker is , also, wonderful. She is responsive and timely to all my requests for family visits and team meetings. Ron, her physical therapist, is very informative when providing status on her progress. Judy, her dietitian, reports on how meals are administered to ensure my Mom eats well. I can go on and on to describe how please I am with how this facility is managed. Thank you for taking care of my Mom. She is a phenomenal woman and deserves your special care. Sincerely, Carmen

My mom has been staying there for 4 days and a I am still waiting for the director to return my call leaving 2 messages 5 days ago. The “team” has not met with the family for intake and shared the plan for our mom. We were told there will be a meeting in 2 weeks by the social worker. Aside from the first bag of personal belongings missing, I have brought more clothes for my mom and still have not seen her dressed. Will continue to post as this journey continues.

This rehab department continues to be successful in returning residents home and to how they used to be. The gym is GORGEOUS! (and the renovations continue throughout the rest of the facility) For sure the best therapists in the Bronx.

My mother had a heart attack and a major knee injury at the same time. She was hospitalized for a month and then needed to do rehab in order to be able to walk again. A friend of mine recommended Pinnacle Multicare Nursing and Rehab and we took her there. She stayed there for 12 weeks and enjoyed her stay fully. During Covid the staff were excellent and kept me informed of everything that happened. Staff went above and beyond to make sure mom got everything she needed.
The entire staff was amazing. The nurses, the health aids, the admin people and physical therapist. Everyone there has such big hearts and it was truly astonishing to see how much they all care and love what they do.
Assad, the director of the physical therapy department, and both her personal therapists Jose and Sid, were absolutely incredible with my mother. They were incredibly knowledgeable and patient with her throughout her time there. I seriously couldn’t be any happier with all three of these therapists and what they were able to do concerning my mother. She came in unable to walk and left being able to walk with confidence. She still has a long way to go but is encouraged to press forward based on what she learned while there.
I completely recommend anyone considering Pinnacle. It was an amazing experience and I’m so grateful for what they did for my mother. I can guarantee you that you won’t regret choosing them.

My mother stayed at Pinnacle for rehabilitation after knee replacement surgery. My mom felt safe and secure upon arrival because the staff was experienced, attended to her needs, and made her comfortable. Her room was newly renovated and meticulously clean. Pinnacle has many individuals with different roles/duties (nurses, doctors, therapists, nurses aides) who made her stay as comfortable as possible. Marvin, one of the head cooks, met with her on multiple occasions so each of her meals was filling but met her dietary needs. This was important because my mom is a diabetic and needed to get better control of her blood sugars. After knee surgery, my mom had limited movement and tenderness, but exercise, massages, and stretches helped give her increased mobility in her knee. At the end of her stay, my mom left Pinnacle more fit and healthy, had control of her diabetes and was able to walk without the aid of a walker. I would highly recommend Pinnacle for anyone’s rehabilitation needs based on their superior medical knowledge and caring for my mother.

no, let me start by saying, no one ever picks up their phones when you call no matter what number you call, info from what staff tells and what patients tell you is completely different, they took my mother's ss money even after they received payment from her insurance company and its been 3 weeks with no return of the money they took and do not even pick up the phone....trying one more time before we contact the media for investigation

As an aspiring health care professional, I chose Pinnacle Multicare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for a volunteering/internship opportunity. Wonderful staff who truly care about their work and bring forth a friendly and caring environment! The facility is very up to date and kept very clean and neat. Had my uncle rehab here after his surgery. Staff was easy to contact and was able to track his progress in recovery step by step. My uncle enjoyed the food and felt like all his needs were met. Highly recommend.

They have directors lying on the patients. Forcing clients who dnt have covid19 Into rooms with sick patients. Thy have the patients hostages over 10 months. Thy dnt let family come see their family member in the facility. The nurses and other staff is giving the patient Covid. They said the medical broad wont allowd outsider to come on until they are cleard

I was a resident at this faculty from Dec 2019-July 2020. What I experienced from most of the Cns’s was horrific and inhuman. Although there were a few that were caring angels but the majority were not and a few of the medication nurses and even a couple nurse managers were disciple. There were 3 aides in a particular that need to be addressed. 1 aide, while I was in the shower in June 2020 when it was 95° hot and humid slammed the door shut with no AC and my oxygen was left outside the bathroom. The shower was very hot as the aide left it that way, I could not get up bc I was immobile and she took advantage of this fact. After 10 terrifying minutes she opened the door and said you wouldn’t shut up I had to get my work done. And then she said you can report me I don’t care. done . Another aide was verbally abusive and would. It give me proper care. The nurse manager even avoided me. How can you get good care when the head of nurses avoids a bad situation. I. My opinion stay far away from this facility. Everyone except the therapist are rude and verbally abusive!!!

After searching for a rehabilitation center, I decided to take one of my loved ones here for the care, and was very impressed. The building is beautiful, and the staff was very friendly. The nurses are reliable and guide you on the process, and the renovations came out excellent.

Sadly, the director of the Dialysis Center is VERY rude and unprofessional. Saw her treating a home attendant of a patient like dirt and it was very unfortunate to witness. Very disappointed and embarrassed for the practice. Otherwise a very nice, respectable place. The girl escorting patients to and from dialysis was very sweet and attentive....

Been having my grandmother coming here for years now and the workers here are the most caring and you can truly feel that they care about their patients, the place looks very nice and clean with some of the most state in the art tech. This nursing and rehab center is absolutely beautiful. My family member received excellent care and I would recommend this facility to anyone. I am not a big fan of hospitals/medical centers because they usually make me feel like we are cattle being rushed through but Pinnacle was different. They made us feel like we were family. They took time to explain the various treatments and even adhered to the strict dietary restrictions. All I have to say is Thank You! It was a refreshing change compared to other places that forgot that personal human touch.

Pinnacle is focused on providing person centered care to each resident. The interdisciplinary team is involved in making sure that the resident's needs and preferences are priority. There is medical staff onsite daily (MD and NP's). The facility has been recently renovated with a beautiful dialysis center and sub-acute unit. The facility has parking onsite and conveniently located close to restaurants and shopping areas.
In the time that I have spent as an employee at Pinnacle, I have seen how each department goes above and beyond to provide quality care for the residents especially during this pandemic. The staff is really dedicated in providing excellent care to the residents. There is efficient communication among staff members and everyone helps each other to get the job done. It is truly a wonderful team to work with!

I will not be back here again. One big bag got lost by the staff on the first day. And on the last day went to pick up stuff and some items are missing!
In total we lost 3 pair of jeans, sweat shirts, hoody, T-Shirts and a few items which is not that important. Communication is very bad. Left a few messages and never got a call back.

I have worked at Pinnacle Multicare for 8 years. I must say... I love the direction Pinnacle Multicare is going. They have updated Physical Therapy & Recreation. Which is awesome for the residents. They Have a new state of the art Dialysis Center for In patients as well as out patients and the Food & Nutrition service is better than ever. If you need a safe caring environment for your family member I highly recommend you come visit Pinnacle Multicare.

Due to relocation, I was faced with the difficult decision to resign but if the opportunity ever arises, I will be back in a heartbeat. I really miss my Pinnacle family!

My sister went here for her short term rehab shortly after her knee surgery and we could not be happier with the care she received while at Pinnacle. The medical staff was kind, knowledgeable, and accessible, always willing to answer questions and provide updates on how she was progressing in her rehabi. The food was excellent and was catered to what my sister wanted. The recent renovations to the facility made it seem like she was in a resort with first class service. I would highly recommend Pinnacle to anyone who is looking to put their loved ones in a caring environment that puts the health and well being of the residents first.

Pinnacle as a Nursing facility has made great strides in terms of providing quality personalized care to its residents. They have a major focus on Infection control and are committed on reducing healthcare associated infections which is of prime importance in today's day and age. Medical team here is approachable, courteous and very much responsive and so is other disciplines. Administration is willing to accommodate resident's and their family's request to a large extent and are very receptive.

Pinnacle is an amazing place. My Aunt is currently a patient and is loving the New rehab gym, and New sub acute unit. The place is so clean and refreshing. The staff is very friendly and they just make you feel at home. Everyone is professional and courteous. Had our dad at Pinnacle for short term rehab, and really had a great experience. The place recently went through a major renovation, and looks like a five star hotel. Staff and service were very attentive to all our needs, and made sure our dad was well taken care of throughout his stay.
