My mom was there for a knee replacement and she was treated with great respect and really loved the staff. I was impressed with the rehab staff, they got her up and walking and she made great progress. I had considered keeping her at my home and have rehab services come there but I wasn't sure she would do as well with me supervising on the days they weren't. I'm so thankful that I decided against it. I was proven right with the excellent progress she made. The nursing staff was very friendly and really knew their stuff. The food was good and she liked the atmosphere and team work of the nurses and aides. I would definitely recommend it.

My mother was recommended to go to La Estancia following a knee replacement. The facility was excellent. The nursing staff was so caring towards her and kept in touch with me daily always updating me on her progress. With Covid it was tough having her in a facility but the staff helped her to do video chats. Everyone really looked out for her and were truly amazing. The therapy staff was also great! If you have a relative that needs this type of care, I'd highly recommend this facility.

My mother was recently in La Estancia after she broke her hip. I was initially a little worried about putting her in rehab because of Covid but the staff quickly put my mind at ease. The facility is very clean and she was in a room by herself. The therapy staff that worked with mom was great and they had her up and walking faster than I thought. I want to thank the therapy staff Kari, Susan and Rebecca for doing such a great job with her. The nurses and CNA’s were great too especially Melanie and Mariana! Dina her CNA at night was really super. Overall I would recommend this place and the food was good too!

My grandmother was cared for at La Estancia and stayed there for several weeks after hip surgery. The care at this facility is wonderful. The staff is amazing and truly care for the patient and worked incredibly hard to help her rehabilitate and heal. They communicate well with family and love ones. I found them to be helpful and informative regardless of the questions I asked about the progress of her recovery and health. I would definitely recommend this skilled nursing facility to anyone with family members in need of this type of care and attention. My family was very pleased specifically with how friendly and kind they were to my grandmother. Additionally they are amazingly patient with my family and the dozens of questions we had. She is 80 and with the ongoing pandemic being a great concern we had endless questions and concerns. La Estancia runs a very tight ship and the nurses and staff, specifically a gentleman named James, are some of the best in the valley - in my humble opinion.

My grandmother was at La Estancia after she broke her ankle. We were worried because we live in Havasu and its a far distance to Phoenix. We chose La Estancia because it was highly recommended. The staff helped us transition extremely well. My grandmother is not tech savy so the facility had iPads that we could use to have video calls on a daily basis. Being able to check in on her everyday helped our family cope with not having her around, but it also helped my grandmother feel comfortable. I want to give a shout out to James for checking in our our grandmother so frequently and a shout out for Jennifer who my grandmother said made her stay fun. Whoever is running the facility please keep it up. I will keep recommending this place. I think anyone deserves the help that my grandmother received. You have truly helped us through the tough times! Thank you!

My father had a stroke and was recommended to go to La Estancia. I am so glad he did because he got such great physical therapy while he was there. The nursing staff were really attentive and kind and the CNA's were awesome and really caring. I would highly recommend this facility for anyone with a family member who needs rehab.

La Estancia has the greatest staff and residents. I worked at this facility 9 years ago ( 4 year employee) and decided to come back here to work because their is no better place to be. We have staff who care and have been here for years and it shows in the care & support we provide to our residents and families. I am passionate about nursing and the residents here at La Estancia.

I not only have worked at La Estancia for 9+ years, but I have sent my 2 Sisters for skilled nursing and rehab stays. They both were provided excellent care from the Nursing Staff, as well as Therapy. The outcome of both of their stays was very positive. It is truly a blessing to work with Staff, that treat their Patients/Resident’s as if they were their own. I can’t be more proud to be associated with such a great group of people. Thanks for all you do!

If you value your license and sanity, avoid this place as an employee! obnoxious, rude co-workers who are CHRONICALLY late, sometimes as much as an hour or more with no apology and no explanation, and NO REPERCUSSIONS from management! Most staff are just there for the paycheck and have no compassion/bedside manner/empathy/sense of teamwork at all!

I was a patient at this facility for 6 weeks The staff was awesome. Caring and very positive. I would refer others in need. I went through physical and occupational therapy and the therapist were the best. Nursing staff was always making sure I was ok. The whole experience was beyond expectations.

Dont send your loved ones here. I am a former resident and am speaking from experience. The nurses have no experience expect for a very few. They deny residents their scheduled pain medication. They are rude and cruel...yelling at the residents who are week and cant stop them. The food is half portions and is terrible. You constantly have to demand your medication or you wont get it. Its imposible to see a doctor here. They arent trying to help the residents at all and I'd be willing to bet that much of the medication meant for the residents walks off premises with the nurses or doctors.

My grandmother was at La Estancia after she broke her ankle. We live in Lake Havasu and she went down there because it was recommended to us as a really good rehab facility. Initially we all were a little worried because she was so far away but the staff reassured us that they would help us have video calls with her. She doesn’t have a phone or IPad but they had their own tablet and we had a video call with her every day. This made her feel a lot better because she was nervous at first about us not being able to visit. Thanks to all the nurses and CNAs and also Jennifer the activities director for making her stay a great one!

I absolutely love activities director Jennifer Larson! There is no one else more organized than her! She is always looking out for the residents and constantly posts for donations for the residents who are stuck in isolation and still manages to keep them entertained. Thank you so much Jen.

My uncle has been staying at La Estancia for over 3 years now. I have nothing but good things to say about the care he receives. It’s been hard not being able to visit him because of covid but I know he’s in good hands. The nurses Lori, Eva, Mike, Tenise, Gwen, Tierra are all wonderful and I know I’ve missed some names but I appreciate them all! I have nothing but good things to say about the CNAs Mike and Marta. I can’t wait till I am able to come back into the building.

My Grandfather stayed at La Estancia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for a month after his surgery. We were very satisfied with the care that he received. The staff was great, they always gave us good updates and helped us with Zoom calls as we were not allowed to visit at that time.

So far, my experience has been good. The phones went down and before I even knew about it, I received a call from management at La Estancia. They gave me multiple additional cell phone numbers where I could reach the staff, as well as the personal cell phone numbers of the director of the place and the director of nursing. They let me facetime my mom so I could check in on her since I couldn't reach the phone in her room. Impressed by the communication and care so far.

My father has gone here from the hospital for rehab on a few occasions now. My dad had a stroke 7 years ago and he cannot verbally communicate very well. This most recent experience, due to covid, we aren't able to visit him either. From past experiences I know how crass this facility is. Previously, my mother and I could go in there and advocate for him, since the facility only cares about the money and not the patients. He could walk before he went there this time and was supposed to be receiving PT while there. Now he cannot even walk. I am sure he has a dirty diaper he has been sitting in for gosh knows how long too. This facility is abysmal. The front desk lady is a rude nightmare. The med staff aren't much better. If you have the choice, avoid this place like you would covid.

Chris the Admin has been keeping me updated daily. My grandpa has been on the covid unit now for a few weeks and I have nothing but good things for the communication they have provided me. Any questions I have they answer! I enjoy the covid update calls they give us family members! Everyone has been attentive towards my concerns and issues! The nursing staff continues to excel even when my grandfather can be a lot of work. Therapy has been working with him and he enjoys it. I know he can be unhappy being in isolation but the staff has made it better for him! They really care.

My mother was a patient here but now she is home. My whole family was scared because of not being able to go into the building. We are grateful to the staff for answering our calls and updating us on my mom. Jennifer in activities even set us up with a video chat call. I have to say thanks to the nurse Mariana and Arietta for keeping my moms spirits high while she was there. To everyone who took care of my mother Maria C. She says “thank you for everything”

My opinion in this facility as far as making the family room into an activity room has been a great decision. A very positive move for the residents here. I am very grateful of the decision. I see a positive change in my mother (Sara Garcia) she looks forward to working and being in the "activity room". Thank You- Iris Maldonado

Thank you so much for the service and care I received from this facility! I have been in several rehab facilities and this is the best! The positive attitude and friendly workers are definitely the best I have experienced. If a facility is needed for you or a loved one choose the best Genesis-La Estancia. I'll miss everyone! I definitely want known that physical therapy in this facility is better than any I have had anywhere! Again if anyone wants the best. This is the place!

I would like to let you know that Reina the CNA who has been taking care of my mother has been doing a excellent job. She really cares about my mother and her situation. She is concerned about all aspects of her care and is constantly encouraging and talking to her. She has a great attitude even though she has a difficult job. She is always joyful and happy and her attitude is contagious and good for patients. She is a pleasure to work with. She always does what she says she will do.

I have been working at La Estancia for almost 2 months now. The staff has been very welcoming to me. I haven't gotten to know everyone in the facility but the people that I have gotten to know are very kind, always willing to help me out with anything I may need. We work well as a team. The activities department her is the best that I have seen, the nursing staff is kind and caring and always wearing a smile which is super important to our residents and patients. I smile is contagious and we all got that bug. I can't wait to see what is in store for La Estancia.

What I liked most about my stay here were the people that took care of me. Everyone was very nice to me. I liked the food, it was pretty tasty most of the time! I was here a long time. They kept my room clean. They cleaned it several times a day, which was unusual but good for me and it never smelled. But the best part of my stay here were the people who cared for me.

Extremely understaffed and impatient. 2 night shift CNAs spoke poorly of me and my mother (who was the patient) in Spanish, never knowing I understand Spanish. They're not gentle or caring. Most of the nurses there shouldn't be in the profession. Nursing requires compassion, which they don't have. Worst experience ever. Avoid this place at all costs.

I have had the pleasure of working as a volunteer at La Estancia for the activities department. They have many different social functions that encourage residents to remain active and entertained. Bible study, bingo, poker, pokeno. They have live musicians come in to sing and have even had a mini horse come visit the residents. There is a room where residents can do puzzles, watch DVD's, listen to music, etc... You can truly see the love and compassion they have for their residents and their desire to keep them engaged.

I have been to La Estancia twice, and I would rather go there than anywhere else. The whole staff was really nice. They took care of my wounds really well. The therapy was nice too. Dr Kane was one of the best doctors I have ever seen. He found 3 blood clots no other surgeon or doctor had caught, he might have saved my leg. He referred me to another great doctor. I love Dr Kane! He’s so nice too! La Estancia is the best place.

I was at La Estancia for several weeks and all I can say is I'm walking again! I love the therapy department, the nurses were great, the food was great. My room was comfortable and very spacious so that my family could visit me along with my beautiful granddaughter and her daughter. Everything was just like they told me it would be. I am very grateful to La Estancia.

State of Arizona please investigate this facility, the owner of this facility and every person employed. My sister has been placed there with liver failure stage 4 she is diabetic and her sugar levels drop quickly. No one helps my sister drink her juice to bring her sugar levels back up. No showers. Call buttons unanswered. Lpn nurse on surfing her cell phone. A sad and scary place.

Even though I only stayed at La Estancia less than two weeks I enjoyed my stay there. I have been a patient there before and what impressed me the most was the fact that when I came back the dietary lady remembered what I liked to eat. That tickled me. It had been 3 months since I was there. The staff is very nice and I felt safe going home.

This is a great facility. Three members from my church were patients there and we very happy during their stay. The staff Were very attentive to their needs and they loved the food. When asked what was their favorite thing about their stay, they all agreed that the activity department was super fun and The therapy department was fantastic.

I thank all of the staff members, especially the nurses and Dr.Kane. I received great care here. I was probably asking for too much or bothering everybody and I'm sorry if I was. I haven't been catered to like this ever in my life. My room was always clean and the food was really good. Thanks to the therapy department they got me walking. I didn't expect to do this well. Whenever I asked for pain meds, the nurses came right away. They paid attention. The tall guy who owns the place was very nice to everyone. He always spoke to everyone. I don't want to come back but I will someday, but I will come back here if I do.
