Went in today in a rush to return an online order of some shoes that didn't fit and find some new ones. Felt compelled to leave a review as I was treated to fantastic, friendly, helpful customer service which can be elusive these days. It used to be my favourite bike shop. I loved to go there to pick up some bike maintenance essentials or spares, try out some new clothing and look at the beautiful bikes downstairs.
In the last year or so, the place has become a joke. I get it; pandemic = extra safety measures. But the staff behaves extremely hostile, and you feel I welcomed there. I went there with my fix a bike voucher after booking an appointment, and they came up with a nonsensical list of requirements and commented about me stealing a voucher from someone who needs it. It's not just my opinion; I know many people within a cycling community who noticed a drop in standards.
Don't blame pandemic if your business will struggle - blame your staff (especially the tall bloke who tries to sound posh - you know which one!).

All my years, in many differant countries. I have been subjected to many differant kinds of customer service. Well I can confidently say the service myself and my wife received today at Conder Cycles from a man called Jaz was nothing less then amazing. He is a shining beacon of how one human being should interact with another. You can buy a bike anywhere but I can most certainly guarantee you, you will not receive the same level of care and customer service you will get at Conder Cycles. Thank you Jaz

If I could rate Condor 6 out of 5, I would.
By far the best cycle workshop in London.
My bikes feel brand new after each & every service. I've asked them to replace components and they've told me they've only needed some lubrication rather than replacement.
I've also had a bike fitting which was outstanding (they recommended the same inner soles as my podiatrist - I didn't realise I needed them in my bike shoes).

I had such an amazing time building my new bike here with Julian ( cunnington ) he took his time, totally understood what I wanted and suggested things that I hadn't thought of that made my final bike absolutely gorgeous. The whole experience was brilliant - and covid safe without ruining the experience for me. I loved it from start to finish and it was professional, friendly and helpful ( the coffee is good too )

I had a bike fitting with James Wakelin. The whole process was amazing from start to finish. James knows exactly what he is talking about and my bike fits like a glove. I thought it was good before the fitting but then you realise that small adjustments really make a HUGE difference.

Popped in recently and despite the current restrictions Condor is still a great shop. I bought some components and was fitting them before leaving when one of the assistants asked if I needed a hand to fit them which I took as it was going to be much quicker than me doing the job.
Choice of components, bike, clothing and accessories is brilliant as ever but I do miss being able to simply pop in and browse.

Have been looking for ages for a touch up paint colour match for my 2016 Cannondale Synapse but everything has been in the U. S. After reaching out to Condor Cycles they did a colour match based on the reference I gave them and I duly ordered the lime green. Unfortunately when it arrived it was more of a yellow. Condor apologised and sent out the kawasaki green with a view for me to mix the two. True to their word they sent out the paint and it ended up being a perfect match on it's own. Cannot recommend Condor Cycles enough for their friendly customer focused attitude and great communication. Thank you!

Great knowledge on Brompton’s and very helpful staff they have the best stock in London for Brompton parts even more then Brompton junction Covent Garden sad to say, used them three times so far and was swift and efficient. Picked up a replacement bell for a black edition on my way to work. And installed it myself at work before my shift started thanks to the encouragement of their helpful staff????????

Condor are always extremely helpful and professional. On this occasion I needed a groupset in a hurry as I'd had a bike stolen and needed one for a build in a hurry. I'm a Courier so it was time critical. They had the one I needed in the shop from their warehouse the same morning. Special mention to Tom for his help.

I had a bike fit with James and I bought several things.
The bike fit has been great and really sorted my knee pain and foot numbness. Didn't realise the cleat position of my shoes can cause do many issues, not James took the time to look at my movement to understand the cause of my issue.

I thought I was buying a new chainring but arrived today and has chain grease marks in between all the teeth and some scratches near the bolt holes. Clearly taken off from another bike. Really disappointed.

I am absolutely enthusiastic about my experience with ordering online at Condor Cycles. Not only a bargain compared to the shops here in Germany. The articles were also on stock and shipped the same day at no cost. The total time between order and delivery was around 48 hours, around 46 hours of that in the hands of DHL. Only very few retailers in Germany can match that speed.

Even during these strange times Jaz and the guys are there on the front line helping you out when in trouble .
Cannot recommend them enough , Brilliant store , superb choice of goods and fantastic staff.

Big thanks to James on my follow-up appt from my bike fit. Things ‘weren’t quite right’ ie. I adjusted the original fit incorrectly, and James was able to listen to my concerns and fix my issue. Generally pleased with the guys who give me good advice and keep me coming back. Further evidence to support your local bike shop!

Excellent. Ordered a crankset. It was dispatched quickly and with tracking. Received my order in a couple of days. I cant fault the experience at all. Staff on phones are friendly and any email correspondence was great. Far better than my last experience with an online cycle shop. The current situation doesnt seem to have impacted my order at all. Great stuff 11/10 would order again.

Superb service...from start to finish. Can't recommend Condor more highly: hired a bike box from them at last minute for Cape Argus. Flight delayed back from Cape Town by 24 hrs...all bike boxes left in Cape Town for further 48hrs...returned six days late...no extra charge and couldn't have been more friendly, supportive and helpful. 10/10

James I think it’s his names, the gentleman who once saved me, no other shop had a specific screw and he was very helpful, since the shop was already closed and he agreed on selling it. On my second visit Tom was super helpful, instead of taking labour money off me, he suggested that I could fix the bike myself, handing over all the needed tools! I’m very thankful that this shop is there!!!

As a novice road cyclist I felt supported but not patronised and Julian made sure the bike I thought I wanted was right for my needs and proportions. Fantastic service received today. I went to the shop to pick up a rear derailleur which turned up missing. Adrian( staff) went the extra mile and cycled 6 miles to my house after his shift and delivered the missing part personally later that evening. Can't recommend the shop enough.

I bought my first Condor Classico from the Gray's Inn Road store back in 2011, and seven years and 60,000 km later I needed a new one. I'd had a great experience the first time around and this time was no different - in fact it was even better, if that's possible.
Following an initial phone call I emailed to book a bike fit and design spec session. The colleague who helped me was Julian Cunnington - or Juliano as he likes jokingly to be called - and he was an absolute star. We spent nearly two hours going over my initial specification, with Julian offering lots of insightful and sensible suggestions, almost all of which I took on board. Later on in the session he regaled me with some of his amateur racing exploits from the 1970s, and all in all he was a delight to work with.
I'd ordered a custom paint job on my new Classico, and Julian told me this would add an extra couple of weeks to the build time. Condor kept me updated with the progress of my build, and Julian answered promptly and efficiently the couple of questions I emailed to him in the interim. My bike was ready exactly when he'd said it would be, and I picked it up by appointment via an online booking made effortlessly.
In my several years' experience, Condor and its people are simply wonderful. They care 100% about their products, their level of service and their customers, and are knowledgeable and experienced to an extent I've never encountered elsewhere, even in my very decent LBS. My Classico was built quite beautifully, with high-quality craftsmanship combined with meticulous attention to detail. I love my bike, and I hope Condor continues its great traditions into the next 70 years and beyond. Thank you so much!
