I love Fopp, but books that used to be 2 for £3 are now 2 for £6. Not sure whether this is to make up for lack of income during the pandemic, or somthing else.

great place to buy your cds and vinyls and other musical memorabilia in central london and at an affordable price as well. the stock had what i looked for and was well maintained. everything was put in alphabetical order so it was easy to find! on the ground floor you'll find the latest released music but if you go up the stairs, you'll find music from just about any artist - both in cd and vinyl, not sure about cassette. the below ground floor sells dvds and books, also ordered well. they sell anime dvds for any anime fans looking for somewhere to buy things like that. loads of genres and lots to choose from, and the staff are really sweet and happy to help, this shop's a very lucky find!

Staff are super friendly and helpful. They're happy to help or leave you to browse at leisure, whatever you prefer. However, upstairs they were playing the worst kind of jazz imaginable. It sounded like someone having their appendics out whilst some else tried playing a tenor saxophone as they were tumbling down a stone staircase. I can't excuse this so have deducted one star for this unacceptable behaviour on what was an otherwise enjoyable shopping experience ????

This place used to have some good bargains but now it's horrendously overpriced.

The staff are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly; offering good service (ordering items in, etc). The store layout is a bit confusing for a quick visit, but good enough for browsing. Centrally located (Covent Garden/Cambridge Circus), it's conveniently situated en route to the West End, Soho and Theatreland.

Such a fabulous place - lots of films and movies on offer. I am happy how safe it is and the safety measures they have put in place here. Great selection of films, from classics to year 2010+ onwards.

Excellent a wide range of classic film. I would recommend scouring the streets of Berwick street and Covent Garden for physical media hunting.

Great selection of entertainment available. With how busy it gets, and the store being small, its difficult to navigate through the store. Apart from that, its great!

My absolute favourite music/book/film store in London. I like to visit whenever I'm in town. There's bargains galore, and oftentimes you'll hear an earworm over the shop speakers that compels you to ask the staff what it is they're playing. Bless them with your custom!

Same great selection, friendly staff and good prices... it's like time stood still during the close down! I've never walking in to FOPP without finding something of interest.. not this time either! Best little combo music, book and dvd shop in London!

Located at the corner of Earlham Street and Shaftesbury Avenue the ground floor exhibits a selection of DVD'S, vinyl and books. The Basement is allocated to DVD'S and Blu Ray divided into various genres. The First Floor sells records with 50% of the area dedicated to vinyl. There are always special offers available.

Small cramped store with a horrible dingy basement that was sweltering. Couldn’t stay long as I became so hot down there. Staff not so friendly in my opinion. Served quickly like he was trying to get rid of me. Rather buy off amazon.

It was great to be in a record store that is rare to find even in a big metropolitan city like London. Bought a CD in cash, and it was a nostalgic experience in a old and familiar surroundings, feeling like being in the late 80's again.

Lovely proper record shop - as close as you can get to old-style vinyl stores. Would like to see better value on vinyl, but just to be able to browse the racks upstairs is a joy I thought was forgotten.

As DVD sales fall due to streaming services this shop serves an amazing service for those who still want to seek out the more difficult to obtain films. Great sections for World cinema and the more obscure classic movies. Super knowledgeable staff as well.

I changed my review from five to one star because today I went to buy a DVD and the service was really bad. I just go there because I don't want to give my money to amazon if I can avoid it but the experience today was simply bad. I found the dvd I was looking for but when I went to pay I said hello to the man in the till and he simply ignored me, I said hello again and he didn't even look at me. I had to ask him if he knew how to say hello, then he finally looked at me and said that he knew how to. Of course he didn't say hello. I don't want any free perks from this complaint but I'm writing this as an honest feed back. That type of customer service is sinking the high st.
