Sounds of the Universe being home of the Soul Jazz record label and Diggers paradise. Ground floor for current record, CD and various media stock and the Basement for much more rare stock. The knowledgeable and friendly staff make SOTU a must go to place for any avid collector or music lover alike. Highly recommended! ...(", )

A lot of interesting things: classics, new releases. However, I find prices high on average, as compared with internet prices (discogs, to give an example). The thing that I like most is that there is always music on the speakers inside the shop and often I've listen very nice things that I wasn't aware of. Overall, nice atmosphere.

Excellent record shop with a great staff. I discovered an issue with a record I purchased there only after I'd returned to the States. After contacting them I got a quick response and they made things right. Will definitely visit the next time I'm in London.

Great independent record store with lots of happening new jazz records, and the home of soul jazz records with their awesome compilations. Well worth checking out if you like listening to Gilles Peterson's show or like jazz, soul, funk, reggae on vinyl.

Fast, friendly service, great music selection both on their shelves and playing in-store. Love the place. It's just a shame that shops like these are such a dying breed. Mr. Bongo, Deal Real...etc., R.I.P. :|
