Arriving at 6 the whole place was heaving, as we made our way to find a table we kept passing countless singletons on their Mac books.
We were there for drinks and food, the customer service was either non-existent or completely over the top. One minute we were being blanked, the next the waiter was virtually sitting in my lap. The Gin and tonic was ok. My friend had cottage pie (meh) and I had veal (really good).

Like all the House Seven houses it’s extremely polished and great atmosphere. A bit pricy, and the staff have always been a bit short and borderline rude. Great place nonetheless!

One of my lesser favourites of all the houses, but serves it purpose well. Cosy and quaint club and a great spot for catching up with friends. Love the Feast on Sundays and event experiences. Can't beat the location.

World famous for celebrities seen staggering out of the front door at 4am or legends told of drugs, rock and roll and adult situations involving household names, Soho House is, in actual fact, a pretty diluted echo of the other prestigious members bars in London.
If you want the best cocktail in Soho, there are dozens of other places you should try first. If you want the best meal in Soho, then Soho House is halfway down that list too. But if you want to be in the same room as some recognisable faces (even though house rules forbid you to talk to them without an introduction) then sure, this is a safe bet.
What Soho House is excellent for is private parties. There isn't really anywhere else that I'm aware of in the vicinity that has such a wide range of private rooms available for booking, with a large variety of sizes and intended functions. It's a rabbit warren of social options, and if you want to entertain a large group of people in a relatively safe space away from the general public then this is the place to do it.
I've been many times in different capacities, and on the whole it's pretty decent. I like the attentive service, and the ability to have conversations with people without having to yell. I also like the absence of a crowd and (usually) the quality of the clientele makes for a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. Sometimes the number of posers and blaggers can get a bit overpowering, and you'll occasionally bump into someone whose ego far outreaches their talent, and on the odd occasion you'll witness debauchery which puts you off shaking people's hands for a while and for this reason I prefer some of the other private bars and clubs that have a more modest clientele and a more hungry pursuit of quality.
Soho House is resting on its laurels at the moment while other clubs pull out all the stops to beat them. So play the field before you pick a haunt. Soho alone is heaving with options.

In terms of its roster of members' clubs this it one of the more tame establishments. The house itself is pretty cosy and a tad quaint. The ceilings are low and there are many floors and rooms to have a quiet meeting of catch up with friends during the week.
