I rang and asked for a telephone appointment and was given one for 5 days later today was that day and after receiving my call this morning the doctor said he needed to see me and gave me a appointment for 7 days time it’s ridiculous 2 whole weeks before you can see a doctor. Very poor service

This surgery are looking after my parents. They have been incredibly helpful kind and professional. Drs have offered a service way beyond expected levels. The reception staff have been resourceful and thoughtful. I could not recommend more highly.

Polite reception and I can usually get an appointment when needed. The only suggestion is to make online bookings better by having the ability to book with nurse/doctor earlier than in 2 weeks time. The doctors are very professional and polite.

Everyone at the surgery are very pleasant and helpful, I have no complaints and always get an appointment even if it's later in the day.

Very difficult to get registered online and in their system. It's been more than one month and I haven't been able to book an appointment online, then I have to call and they say they cannot find my details anywhere and that need to fill my registration form again!

I have great experiences with this surgery since moving into the area. I have always been able to get appointments when needed including routine and emergency appointments. They are particularly good at sorting emergency appointments for young children which makes such a difference. Reception staff are always helpful and friendly. Overall good surgery with a lot of different GPs and other services.

I got sent an appointment for the 16th of January I hadn't asked for. They said if it was inconvenient I can ring to rearrange. It was so I did. They told me I had to wait for them to call me, and I couldn't in fact rearrange it myself. I waited, no one ever called me back, but on the date of the appointment I had a missed call from them. When I rang back they said I'd missed my appointment.... I'd had a feeling this would happen. I told them the situation and they said someone would call me back. They still didn't. Today I called them back and the line was dead, with a message saying they were closed on the 15th of November? Today is 23rd of January so I'm not sure what that means?!

I have a number of long term conditions that need to be managed correctly and tend to flare up yet I could never see a doctor. Always a nurse the majority of whom hadn’t heard of my condition and kept to trying to give me the wrong medication over the wrong period of time. Very poor and due to worsening health was forced to move elsewhere. Needs to up its game dramatically.

Doctors are fantastic.. Reception on the other hand are rude.. Especially the mouthy male receptionist who was disrespectful and got all masculine in the back of house area thinking he couldn't be heard.. Pal you should be damn glad it "wasn't me again" who came in to chase up my fit note that you and your colleagues were too inadequate to do and if it was I would have welcomed you "coming out and dealing with me".. Next time pal, make sure the door is closed before you try and impress the female receptionists by acting all tough.

I am a hospital doctor myself and have been sent around the country due to work and registered at multiple GP surgeries over the last few years. Never felt compelled to write a review before. Glenfield surgery are lovely, lovely people. They always make an effort to give the earliest possible appointment, the receptionists always take medical worries seriously over the phone and never trivialise anything, the doctors are very caring and attentative. The building is nice, the on site pharmacy is handy. Repeat prescriptions are done in a timely fashion. Overall I can’t fault it and it’s the best GP practice I’ve been registered to in years.

The place is a complete and utter joke. You can't make an appointment over the phone (according to the receptionist) anymore because now you need to book an appointment over on the website. The receptionists are up there own arses, rude and more interested in gossiping then doing their job. They are asking all sorts of personal questions, as if to make sure that you are worthy of seeing a doctor. When I have managed to see a doctor I have been given penicillin, despite it being on record that I am allergic. I have been given std medicine to treat a boil that, after some basic research, was not meant for boils. My wife has Autism and Mental Health issues, and she can get more help from Groby Pools ducks then she does up at the surgery. My mother in law has had to get the 111 service to intervene after the surgery decided to stop giving her B12 injections, despite it being in her records that not having it can be fatal. I would go on but I believe my point has been made. Whoever is running this place should be fired.

Takes ages to get an appointment and finally once you do get the appointment, doctors just say everything is ok, when actually it’s not!!!! Really does need improving in its care!

Worst run surgery and doctors ever. My husband and father in law are registered with them. Fortunately I am not. Last Ocober, my husband had damaged his back and was bed ridden in severe pain. The doctors refused to come out to see him wanting him to visit the surgery even though they were told that he couldn't get out of bed and was the only driver in the family. I am wheelchair bound and our car is not adapted yet. We had no one at the time to help. Following a compliant they offered a phone call. The gp phoned at 5 minutes before the sugary was due to close, this was 4 hours after their offer. We ended up having to call an ambulance purely because the gps refused to help us. Recently, we have called about my 81 year old father in law who is ill and again bed ridden. Unless it is an emergency they refuse to see him. It seems to me they won't want to see him until he has died. So sad we have such bad doctors. I have given a rating of one because without a rating I cannot leave a review if I could I would give them a minus 5.

This is the worst surgery .....even the answerphone service is condescending! Wanted to email a letter over to them but was told “we do not give out email addresses even a generic email for the surgery” Waste of time effort and phone call! How does this surgery survive when other surgeries out perform this one time after time.! Someone needs to sort this place out once and for all
