East street has changed since the pandemic lockdown. The market is less busy as fewer shops and streets traders have also reduced. However there's everything I need to get.

An old London market, not what it once was but plenty of ethnic food to keep you interested including fresh fish, veg, fruit and more. Clothes, electric things, phone accessories, luggage, everything really.

Proper working class market mainly food and cheap electrical stuff and clothing. But you have to love for it! I have given it 5 star, but some would probably hate.....gentrification is still years away!

Always love East Street Market. You can get so much fresh druit and veg for a fraction of the price of the supermarket. I'm really impressed that a street market like this has persisted in central London! There's a lot of choice! The guy selling plants isn't there every day though. And there are also eggs for sale. No baked goods.

It's London it's a street market how markets should be.... grab your bags and stock up on your weekly fruit and veg.... look out for curtains and bedding on some stalls.... don't forget the normal shops around as well including the fish mongers....

It was safe...tough there was a hole couple of feet from the entrance that could cause an injury should anyone trip.

The public toilets have alwaus be abit unclean. Also near near everytime floor is very wet, like paddles. Cubicles are always abit worrying to use. Soap is in a cup on the side always. Dryer sometines work but must of the time it's a face flannel to dry your hands.
