Very well planned and socially distanced visit which required me to utilise a couple of the services here.
Already looking forward to my next visit to meet the lovely team (and it's not very often you can say that of visiting the dentist I know!)

I cannot speak high enough about the quality of service at this practice. All the staff are extremely friendly and very professional. They are have excellent inter personal skills. In these current difficult times their very high level of hygiene is so re-assuring. The Dentist's and Hygienist are of very high calibre, and have always had the upmost confidence in them. I made a great choice to come here many years, and are so glad I did.

I've been coming to this practice for years and they know I have fears of the dentist which stems back to my childhood and a pervious practice. I can't thank them enough for looking after me today and making sure I was OK until I was picked up from my appointment .
They are always professional and calming and a excellent dental practice to use .

My daughter is a very nervous patient even at 20 yrs old! The dentist was fabulous as were the dental nurses. Everything was explained as they did her dental work and she came out smiling ???? I highly recommend the dental practice at Cavendish.

I arrived for my appointment and was met at the door by David, who, as always, greeted me with a smile. Nicola the dental therapist is the best. She’s very friendly and over the years, many of them may I add, has been amazing. I never thought I’d say this but I’m no longer filled with dread when my appointments come around. You guys are all amazing, keep up the good work.

Staff at Cavendish dental practice are always very friendly and professional. All the relevant forms to fill in were sent by email the day before to save time at the appointment. It's very different times at the moment due to the pandemic but Cavendish dental practice are taking all the precautions with perspex screens between the receptionists and patients and all staff wearing face coverings. I couldn't speak highly enough of all the staff that I have dealings with when I visit the practice .

I have been going to this Dental Practice since I was very young. I have been under the care of Dr Albahti for a number of years now, she is amazing and has such a calming and caring demeanour and despite my longstanding fear and nervousness when attending, she is always brilliant and makes me feel relaxed and calm before starting treatment.
All of the staff are so lovely and welcoming and I feel that they know me and I’m not just a statistic. All of my children use this dental practice too and I’m so glad that they haven’t got the same nervousness that I have. In fact they ask when they can go! I can only put this down to the great care that they receive every time they attend their appointments.

What a positive experience I've had with Cavendish Dental Practice which began from receiving a text reminder of my appointment & receiving forms to complete online in preparation for my appointment yesterday (13.04.2021).
Online form filling was straightforward & easy to navigate from one page to another.
I unfortunately had to cancel my appointment at the last minute due to unforseen circumstances where the receptionist was so understanding & I was offered a replacement appointment for later that same day.
On arrival I was greeted at the door of the surgery by a friendly staff member who invited me in & kindly asked me to sanitise my hands before walking into the main reception area where I was shown to my seat that was positioned in line with social-distancing restrictions.
While waiting to be called I witnessed the same worker going round sanitising chairs in the waiting room.
I didn't have to wait long till another friendly staff member called my name & escorted me to the examination room where I was greeted by my dentist.
My treatment of a filling was a really positive experience as my dentist checked how I was during her task & her assistant worked really proficiently too!! My dentist was meticulous in ensuring the finshed filling felt right for me as she kept smoothing & polishing it so I hardly felt it was there as it was positioned at the back of my front tooth where I thought my tongue would keep fiddling with this area, but it was so smooth, infact smoother than when I had the filling fitted!!
I was shown to reception to pay for my treatment & again every staff member who passed me greeted me warmly & even though wearing face masks I could tell they had smiles on their faces!!
I can't praise this dental practice enough and would highly recommend them!!

I would like to thank all the staff at Cavendish dental. Especially to Dr shaffery & Haseeba. I've had a phobia of dentists for years and desperately needed work doing. I found this surgery and it's staff to be incredibly helpful, professional and reassuring and the work they have has done has been amazing despite the ongoing pandemic. I would recommend them to anybody. I am so happy with the work they have done for me and my irrational fear has gone.

Staff at the cavendish dental practice were brilliant this afternoon.hand sanitizer as soon as you walk through the door. Perspex screens face coverings everything in order, through to the dreaded chair the dentist and her assistant wearing full face masks always reassuring me and looking out for my health top job thank you.

My first appointment today since lockdown,so all the new Covid 19 safety measures were in place.I am a very nervous person when it comes to attending the dentist,but felt very at ease.
All the staff made me feel incredibly comfortable.
Dr Saduera and her assistant Aleeta made me feel relaxed and comfortable.
I would recommend Cavendish Dental Practice to everybody,and urge people not to worry about going to their dentists during these unprecedented times.

A very caring and pleasant team. I was given a courteous welcome, given a private space to wait in and then seen quickly and effectively by both the Dentist and Hygienist. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed, yet with an air of caution and patient protection in these strange times. I have no hesitation in commending and recommending this practice.
UPDATE - 6 months on...
Cavendish in Derby continues to be very welcoming. On the day that lockdown partially finished, the staff were very careful. yet considerate and pleasant to their customers. An individual greeting at the door, a warm hello from the dentist and valuable assessment of my current situation and a very real sense of caring from the hygienist, always with a view to my well-being. Highly recommended.

A huge Thank you to Dr P Chitkara and Odette who once again treated me wonderful.. I have been petrified of the dentist since a child. I met Dr Chitkara 3 years ago and she has turned my frear around whern no one else could. Today she reminded me how far I've come and that's a long way..my teeth are healthier I even had a consultation on line in lockdown.. thank you ..I urge any one how is nervous to go to Cavendish Dental.

Such a lovely dentist, starting from the receptionists all so lovely & friendly. I had a couple of questions and she was really helpful (sorry i didnt get her name) my 3 boys were due check ups, she managed to get them in together and all paperwork was sent via email for me to complete. All very covid safe, we were let in, paperwork checked, sanitised etc and was shown to our seating area and called in when dentist was ready. Dr poonam was great with my boys, very welcoming and friendly, made them feel at ease and we learned a few things about space, which my boy was thrilled about. The nurses were so friendly also, ready to give the stickers out. Would highly recommend ????

Absolutely fantastic experience.I have a horrible wisdom tooth pain,my sent told me she couldn't extract it and would refer me to specialist and I will have to suffer for weeks. I called Cavendish,they gave me an emergency appointment and as soon as I arrived they were ready for me,calm environment, empathetic staff and dentist.he took my tooth out in 20 minutes. I was pain free in a few minutes.
Im so happy with my experience. Would recommend to anyone who is suffering.

cavendish have done alot of work to make seeing the dentist covid safe. arriving at the practise you have to wait outside until its time for your appointment. getting call when the dentist is ready if you waiting in a car outside is also very good.

Just got back from having a large filling and a thorough clean. I wondered if I would get an appointment at all but was very pleased by both the speed and safety of the procedure. The covid safety is first rate and I felt safe and protected. I was in the chair for an hour and felt everything was being done well and was told what was going on throughout. Thanks again Shweta

It's not easy during lockdown restrictions & shielding but Cavendish Dental Practice Derby have been great. Giving advise over the phone, fitting me in to be seen. Completing all the necessary paperwork on line including covid 19 risk assessment. Reception staff & the dentist assistant David P, Kirsty B & Sophie H have been fantastic in their welcoming, reassurance & their care & attention. During treatment I was anxious but again was reassured. As I'm getting older & with a number of health conditions, it feels my visits & treatment needed have been more frequent. I maybe considering going private with them with Mr Trishan Malhi. I remember many many years ago, I'd feel extremely anxious & he always had an approach to reassure me & subsequently he did the same to my son from an early age. I couldn't fault his treatment. It maybe be financially beneficial if i went private. It's something I'll need to discuss further with them. In the meantime I appreciate the NHS treatment from Shweta K.
