I'd just like to say that I like Cripps. I've experienced only a polite and kind service from the reception staff. I love Ivy the hygienist (she says it as it is) and appreciate her honesty when it comes to (sometimes) my rushed dental hygiene regime. I've recently been introduced to a new (?) dentist called Anna. When I met her 2 weeks ago I had finally received thorough care. Previously I felt the assessments were rushed I felt that advice and guidance were lacking. Anna has given me confidence in Cripps again. I've just returned from Cripps following a tooth extraction. Anna and staff were so kind and patient. Thank you.

You have to say that you are dying from pain to be accepted in this dental centre. I called them around midday to book an urgent appointment, I told the impolite receptionist that I am pain and she was asking me questions like why haven't you called us earlier as you would not be able to sleep. Being a medical doctoral student, I can say that their service is full of toxicity. I do not know if it is laziness or this is how they work but this is non-humanity. The dentists working in there are awesome. Even their own dentist gave one star and you can imagine what is happening in there. To book in appointment there are lots of politics and discussions and if the receptionist does not want you in you just do not visit. These are not doctors to assess a patient, I do not know why, how, and who recruited those people. Even their own dentists gave one star...

Let's face it, no one likes going to the dentist, however the friendly doctors as well as the staff at Cripps Dental Centre did manage to change my opinion and combat the feeling of dentist phobia. The doctors here welcomed me friendly and made me feel relaxed. Every time I am here I know that I am in good hands. All the treatments I had in this Dental Centre went very well. Thank you very much!

Drs Pabisiak, Moeino and Teli were kind, courteous and sympathetic to my various dental issues and the pain I was suffering over a period of eight weeks. I am grateful to them for the treatment they gave me. So good to be eventually free from pain at a very difficult time in the Practice's operations due to the Covid lockdown.

Highly Recommend Neil Poyser anyone looking to have implants or a bridge or anything else I recommend Neil . Excellent dentist my teeth look amazing, thank you so much Neil. Neil is so professional he took the time to explain every procedure he was doing. For example, when I was having my implants, Neil was very supportive, and thorough when explaining the process. Neil is a professional and has a naturally lovely personality. I recommend Neil Poyser to everyone. He is the best dentist I have ever had. Teg Neil dental nurse is so lovely bubbly fantastic in what she does been so supportive and supported me during my treatment, thank you Teg. The Staff was great. Very welcoming and friendly Thank You Neil for everything you have done, I have a fantastic dentist for life now.

As one of the staff members, a dentist, from Cripps dental centre I agree with most of the comments on here. The standard of care and professionalism has declined significantly over the past few years. I have tried to resolve matters internally and last week I was made aware that my associate position was terminated without notice. I wish to thank all of my patients that I have treated over the past 10years at Cripps dental centre and request you contact your MP to resolve the issue of this once great practice. I am concerned for the safety of staff and patients at Cripps dental practice under the current management. Yours sincerely, Deborah Martin BDS(hons) M.Sc Clin Ed Last week my peer-review paper was published in the British dental journal. Cripps used to be a fantastic dental surgery before they moved to the new premises. The reception staff were very professional and really friendly. My dentist and dental assistant gave exceptional care. Sadly since they moved the staff have changed, the systems have changed and there is no longer the same standard of professionalism or care. Everyone used to speak so highly of Cripps. This is no longer the case. Don't dare to even suggest that you are unhappy with the service you have received or you will be treated with disdain by all.

I tried to get an appointment with Cripps for more than 4 weeks. They ask me to call at 10 am and check the cancelled appointments and then register for one of them. Then today probably once they have an appointment they are telling me they only register UON staff or students even though I am living in the same post code area. They could tell it 4 weeks before without wasting my time.

Dee (Most amazing Hygienist) and Dentist Patrick (wish I'd met him in my early teens). I happily make a 50 mile round trip for these people; and I have three dentists within a five minute walk.....Easily would've given 5 Stars, but the new team of receptionists make the visit so cold and clinical. The previous team were so warm and friendly. Knew customers by name, smiled, greeted, said goodbye etc. Shame really.

Told me I can't book an emergency app for any day. I can only ring after 10 daily and see what is left. Registered patients can call from 8.30 however. I have no desire to be a registered patient with the way the receptionist spoke to me.

Excellent first experience; both my dentist and my hygienist were very pleasant, helpful and professional. They made everything easy and straightforward. Very unlike my previous dental appointments elsewhere.

Terrible and insensitive emergency appointment service. I was unable to be seen on the day so I took whatever appointment was available 5 days in advance as a precaution and was told I could cancel it if I managed to get in earlier. Following day called again and I was refused to be seen because I had that appointment booked in even though I reported worsening symptoms- throbbing etc lost filling / cracked tooth. Feel very duped and let down.

I would like to thank Neil and Teg ( I hope I have spelt that right) for the friendly, reassuring, professional service and outstanding result for my dental implant completed today. It's alot to go through but totally worth it. Thank you guys You are highly recommended. Will definitely be back if I ever need another.

Extremely competent and friendly staff, and the first dentist surgery I see run on time. My dentist, Dr. Pabisiak, is by far the best dentist I have dealt with and has helped me manage decades of damage done by my own carelessness. Highly recommended all around.

I've seen a variety of dentists and hygienists who have all been very professional and thorough. Also when I needed an emergency appointment I was offered this for the same day. What a great NHS service - Thank you!

Polite reception staff but my dentist seem reluctant to carry out work. I'm not sure if is just because I am an NHS patient or if they genuinely believed that the necessary work was unnecessary. One way the other I'm left with discomfort/pain where most competent dentists would have sorted it out.

Last visited in June 2016. Saw a very nice young lady dentist, whose manner was calm and pleasant - making me relax in turn. Unfortunately, both the fillings she did fell out with the month. I couldn't face returning again (more fool me) and decay and discomfort now set in. Rang last week and after about ten minutes on hold with a recorded, rather harsh and irritating voice helpfully telling me I was 'on hold' every few seconds, I eventually spoke with the receptionist and was booked to see a new dentist as my last one had now left. Never got to see the new dentist as I had to cancel due to a domestic emergency, but with the inevitable parking problems you encounter there, how busy it is in general, and that impersonal feeling you get as a result, I decided to bite the bullet (another broken tooth) and now take the private route - where you are received more politely, have more time taken over you and see the same dentist on each visit. Yes, it is much more expensive, but if you are paying NHS charges for the same work to be repeated, that's not exactly cheap either.

Hadn't been to dentist for a couple of years which apparently means they can simply remove me from their patient list without telling me and refuse to see me. Really poor that simply discard patients and place business income over patient care!

Seems I have a similar experience of being de-registered without any notice. I was told I had "numerous reminders" not the case im afraid. If it was clear I would be removed then I would have done something about it.... Obviously! Ended up in the walk in centre who advised my teeth were perfectly healthy and not related to the pain I was having. Surely the NHS want patients like me, not Cripps though!

Been a patient since my wife worked at Nottingham University over 20 years ago. Brilliant service from admin staff and hygienist - I am also lucky enough to have their best dental practitioner Patrick.

Generally good practice, little noisy however and I was never given my dentists name which was a little discomforting. Good service all round though.
