Excellent service provided by friendly and helpful staff. I've suffered with my teeth for a while and have been told off by previous other dentists, however here I was made to feel as if they could actually help me. They gave the confidence that they could get my teeth to a much healthier state. I am part way through they process but so far I am overly happy with the progress!

I appreciate we are in strange times and that the practice may be under strain, but it's almost impossible to actually communicate with anyone. The one time I got through to a real person on the phone they were very helpful and I got a call back from the dentist the same day. Now I'm trying to follow-up as I'm still having issues, but always end up on hold as 'no 1 in the queue' forever. Seems the phone system now tells me when they're closed, but that doesn't match the opening times on the website. Could someone please update those at least?! I've been a patient at this practice since I was a child, but now looking for help elswhere as I just can't get hold of anyone!

Cancelled my appointment with 2 hours notice and wanted to reschedule 2 weeks later

Worst experience, had an appointment over 10 days back for a general check up paid up in advance. Now today get a call asking to pay 50 Pounds more as there was scaling and polishing done. The woman on the phone threatened to send letter and put debt collector etc on me. They are completely unprofessional and fraud. Please stay away. I will complaint against them to the British Medical Association for professional misconduct as well.

I have had a great experience with mydentist Chilwell I could not be more happy with the staff, service and treatment I have received. The receptionists were very pleasant to speak to even with half of my face dripping off due to anesthetic. The dentist and assistant's have been both professional and considerate offering personal and honest advice. P.S if any one wants to show their appropriation, the reception staff like Vodka!

Brilliant dentist put me at ease. Very welcoming and spent time explaining how to take extra care of my teeth..receptionist are very friendly would 100% recommend this dentist.

Been with this dentist for 15 plus years and have had no trouble, Alina is brilliant always see her. She puts you at ease straight away, for people who don't like needles need to visit Alina as you don't feel a thing.

Urgently need a front tooth repairing on the morning of 14th December.Tried loads of dental practices with no joy.Phoned this one and once I explained that my daughters wedding was later that day, the receptionist couldn't have been nicer. She allocated me a half hour appointment within the hour. The dentist and assistant were brilliant and sorted me out . The repair was brilliant, so I was able to smile on all photos. Thankyou so much I am so grateful. Would definitely recommend

Lovely dental practice. Receptionist's are always welcoming and friendly. Dentist Niaz Ahmed is very gentle and puts me at ease. Been going here for several years and never had a bad experience. They discuss the options for treatment and don't push unessential treatment like some dentists I have been to in the past. only downside is that it's sometimes hard to get the appointment you want as its so popular. Thank you and well done to all at the practice.

Id been part of this practice since i was little (when Pam Ward was in charge and build the customer base) i am now 31! i used to travel across town and for a few years from Newark to this practice as it used to have high standards and great customer care. anyway, in April 17' I Tried to get an emergency appointment as my tooth broke at work. Rang the school lane practice but, there were no appointments....but the practice got me an appointment at another local practice....great...you'd think.I Arrived at the "other" local practice to be told i was 2 hours later to my emergency appointment. I called the school lane practice to find out what had happened and why id been told an incorrect time, no answer on the phone after 15 minutes of "on hold".... luckily the local practice squeezed me in to sort me out. After the appointment i called the school lane practice from my car (hands free) i was on hold for over well 30/40 minutes.(i drove from stapleford to Gedling in this time) Someone even aswered the phone and said "Please hold" You can imagine by this time i was pretty p*ssed off with them. In the end, i left a message on the answer phone, and as per the answer phone message i would get a call back. I never recieved a call back. So, now, this practice has lost me as a customer due to pathetic customer care and how i felt neglected as a customer. so, in light avoid this practce! If pam ward could see what her old practice was like she'd be fuming.

Been here since I was little and Mrs Ward worked there! I still love it, although gutted my dentist is leaving :(

Forever trying to get an appointment with them. been in pain for weeks now. Save yourself time and effort and use a different dentist. Never seem to have space for anyone. Utter joke!!!!
